    Memory error

What fixed this for me was verifying the integrity of the game files and then putting the backup files in the folder again after it was done.

Do you have the Steam version of the game or do you use SC?
  3. There was a lot of chases going on at the point of time of your call, and the officers you decided to have a go at inside of the police department happened to be cadets, who can not take out a car and patrol on their own, and therefore have to be around the police department or patrolling on foot. While I was reading through certain things on the government website I couldn't help but notice an angry individual yelling at cadets that were only there to attempt to help you. They referred you to officer Bowman, who told you to calm down several times, which you did not do, to the point where I told you to stay calm if you wanted us to work with you on the situation, which you seemingly did as you went to talk with her in private. Now, about the gun license. I personally told you in-character to file a formal complaint on the government website which I gave you a link to, which this is in fact not. Like I said in-game, if you feel like the officer has done you wrong you should file the complaint here: https://gov.eclipse-rp.net/viewforum.php?f=24
  4. This is only one of our two options, we have an option to broadcast through chat (which is the cheapest option), and the option to broadcast through the message on the bottom left.
  5. "Sponsored Tweet" is as long, if not one character shorter than VIP Announcement anyway.
  6. The names can be changed and don't have to be tweet related, the main idea here is to change the name to something more ICly in general.
  7. That could work, as long as it still turns it into more of an IC thing rather than what we have now.
  8. We all know that the announcements we get to use as VIPs or Donators are strictly IC, meaning that you can use them as advertisements as businesses, personal plugs to sell your vehicle etc. Now, what I’ve been thinking about is this; we are supposed to stick with IC and IC alone, yet the announcements are called.. “VIP Announcement” and “Donator”? What I’ve come up with is a rather simple rename/recolor of those two announcements to a simple thing such as “tweets” to make it feel more ICly. I thought of this because Twitter has a system in place where there is regular tweets and promoted tweets which are paid for so that there is still a slight difference between the VIP and Donator announcements. It would be a bit like the following: [VIP Announcement] John_Doe: (Message here) → [Tweet] John_Doe: (Message here) [Donator] John_Doe: (Message here) → [Sponsored Tweet] John_Doe: (Message here) Now I’m not sure how much work this would be, but I’m sure that even the smallest things such as this could make everything just a bit more roleplay-like, making it seem more like an IC thing.
  9. Account name: Pazz Character name: Ana_House Issue/bug you are reporting: I'm not sure how to explain this, but this has been the second time of this happening, the first time being with Mike Simms even though he wasn't anywhere near us. This time it happened with a person that I don't know and who wasn't near me, nor is it shown like it normally would if it was an IC message in text chat or if it was a phone call. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate:
  10. Definitely this. The Blacklist is good aswell.
  11. The latter, given the fact that there's a reason as to why the import of vehicles with credits got removed.
  12. He means that all vehicles should become importable, not in stock.
  13. +1 Let me just get rid of my Shotaro real quick
  14. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to dig up older posts like this but it's been hidden behind 2 pages of new suggestions, and I'd really like some more opinions on this or for someone to look at it (again?).
  15. Complying actually helps both parties, you get off easier with a warning/maybe with a ticket rather than being charged with evasion, and the PD can move on to another situation that might have more roleplay waiting for them rather than wasting their time chasing someone that didn't feel like getting a ticket that day. Even if you don't want to pay for a ticket and plan on running, you can always turn the engine back on and drive off, because the difference between a regular stop and a felony stop is very easy to spot, even for people without knowledge of the codes or how the PD works. At least hear them out, they might just let you off with a warning. The PD only arrests when they need to.
  16. Thing is that this really depends on the employee I guess, most of them only close the gates to keep someone there if it's someone that they know the police are looking for etc, sadly there are those who decide to close the gates in favor of a gang and ruining the reputation of every other mechanic at the shop by doing so. I've had an issue myself at LSC when I was still in the PD and drove through a bit over limit on the look for someone and I saw how many people I could've actually hit by doing so, so I agree with this and I'd say they could use some barriers/blockades there to prevent people from speeding through, especially with their parking spots for the visitors and desync. +1
  17. There are several big stand-alone houses/buildings with a big drive-way and parking spots outside in Vinewood hills that would be perfect to serve as a gang hideout.
  18. Alright so I've brought this up earlier this evening in the Discord during the meeting between the administrators and the community and a lot of people ended up agreeing with me that it's a good thing, including @BallinByNature. This idea came to my mind as the amount of in-character marriages have been increasing by an insane amount, both my characters also being in a rather serious-RP relationship. Even if it's for characters that aren't actually married but can't afford a house on their own and want a roommate to live with, sharing a house would be a great solution. Another good thing would be houses up for rent, giving players both the option to rent the house or buy the house. I'm not completely sure on how often the rent would be taken but maybe once per in-game day or two days given every in-game day is 6 hours IRL, but obviously this would be subject to change. I think this would be a great addition because a lot of the players that do not have a government job can't afford to just fully buy a house, given them basically nowhere to store anything that they might want to store, especially with the recent introductions of bobby pins and how they work. Of course this is just my two cents on this situation, but I thought I'd make a proper suggestion after I saw the amount of people that agree with this suggestion and think that it would work out well.
  19. Regardless of our differences and opinions, it looks really good and I wish you the best of luck actually getting an in-game faction going.
  20. 911 calls, back-up calls, emergency panic-alarm calls etc.
  21. I can't help but notice that tickets are not removed on arrest, which is crazy when you think about how high tickets can get. Yes, I'm a police officer myself but I also have an alternate character whom is borderline criminal, meaning I talk to a lot of people that do things and as a police officer I see people's records, including their tickets. They can't pay the tickets if their licenses get suspended for things and so they will be arrested over and over, whether it is for driving with a suspended license, or for a "failure to pay fine" until they manage to get money from another source to pay off said tickets. As an example, you commit a murder and evade the police afterwards. You'll be charged with murder (50 minutes, $7500) and felony evading (30 minutes, $5000). This will add up to a total of $12500 in-game cash worth of tickets. On top of this, you'll get your licenses suspended including your drivers and truckers license. Like previously mentioned, it's basically an infinite loop. Someone gets arrested, they get their licenses suspended and a high amount of money worth of tickets, and they won't be able to make the money to pay off the tickets because they don't get cleared on arrest and end up being arrested again, only for this to repeat itself. I've been told that this is a glitch, and if it is, this is more of a plea for it to be fixed, otherwise this is a suggestion that I'm sure people agree with, especially repeat offenders in-game.
