  1. +1 Simply adds an additional level of depth to RP and adds more realism especially for businesses which have no script way of identification.
  2. Offering a helping hand Networking has always been an essential factor when is comes to running a successful business. Over the years Paulo has got to know many associates, many of which he now considers his friends and when they're in need of a helping hand, Assured Services will always offer assistance where we can. Paulo recently attended the Quarry race hosted by Los Santos Drift and Premium Deluxe Motorsport, due to Paulo's long lasting continual relationship with James Eriksen he though he would pop along and show his support. Upon arrival he noticed that there was zero event advertisement and not a huge amount of attendees. He inquired with James and Cheng about the lack of advertisement and it soon became apparent that one of their licenses permitting them to advertise was yet to be approved. Paulo immediately sprung into action and reached out to a few contacts with Weazel News arriving moments later. He was able to use his companies licenses and contacts to establish adverts and a blip for the event which yielded large crowds in the hundreds. The event was a tremendous success and helped bring the community together. As the hours went by, heat after heat took to the circuit to compete for the high-stake prizes. Eventually it came down to the finals where Nico from Los Santos Drift took the first place. Not only was the event successful in drawing large crowds of spectators and participants but it also added to Assured Services Networks. That night we were able to establish another relationship with an upcoming group.... The Los Santos Drift.
  3. +1, I feel that more weapon variants would be beneficial and add further diversity. Gun stores, I feel have been somewhat neglected with the last 3 updates they've received negatively impacting their value: - 2 Gun Rule - Treasury Tax - Import Price increases. When compared with other businesses such as general stores and dealerships which regularly receive new stock spiking their value, gunstores haven't seen improvement or positive updates in a long time. Although not completely topical to the thread, Civilian Kevlar may also be a nice addition. I would suggest that the Kevlar vest receive a different a different model to those warm by law enforcement and illegal import. Perhaps the green model, as that is most distinguishable from Law Enforcement and Illegal import.
  4. Self Reflection As we approach the midway point for 2021 the executive staff starts to evaluate the performance of the company and review the progress towards our goals made at the start of the year. During this period of self reflection we look at the mistakes we've made and look to improve our performance as highlighted in the Japanese Business philosophy, Kaizen, meaning "Continuous Improvement". This is an exciting time for the company as we set forth plans for expansion and development within our subsidiaries. One change that will be taking place shortly is the new management for Maze Bank West. With Mickey King set forth to take the helm, we've brainstormed ways in which we can improve our service. Assured COO, James Hawkes has devised a digital submission and log system where clients can make a request through LifeInvader, making the process of loan obtainment much more convenient than the traditional desk buzzer or phone number. Additionally our new CPO Caleb Allison has been working on improving the companies internal infrastructure, helping to improve the overall organisation and efficiency of our internal processes. On the topic of internal processes, the executive staff have also enrolled a digital treasury system for management to make full use of which will be overseen by our CFO Blair Allison to boost managerial innovation and initiative. Events coordinators Sokka and Emily Lazoo continue to work effortlessly to conjure up unique event concepts which help bring the community together. Having conducted a plethora of successful events, they've started to establish business networks and develop their cognizance. Further exciting news is the development of our company Headquarters. When the building was initially acquired Paulo enlisted the help of Hayley Swan, one of Los Santos' best builders having constructed multiple establishments such as Pacific Bluffs Country Club. With a key eye for detail, Hayley has relished the challenge of taking on such a large building project. Now that the structure is complete Hayley can be let loose with the furniture catalog and start decoration. As always we look forward to seeing where to company goes and will continue to strive in our economic, social and philanthropic performance.
  5. Very nice suggestion, we own two size-able properties which when filled with attendees suffer further performance issue with frame rate and entity generation. Streamlining the spawning will help resolve the issue of people falling through the floor before loading and landing in the ocean. +1
  6. This is an issue that we're having too. We have a faction HQ and a large country club which are now extremely dark. The extend of this dulling has actually reduced the light's effects to almost none existent. We added a plethora of powerful lights which only seemed to glow following the update. This has made a large proportion of custom properties redundant in my opinion and really needs a fix. I'm not a developer but I was wondering if they could bind properties to a dimension that is always daytime? This would allow for the more realistic night time lighting without rendering properties useless.
  7. On Saturday April 17th, Assured Services presented Pacific Bluffs 70's Party! After their successful event the Assured Events Team was quick on bringing the next big event. This unique event saw the states first 70's Themed Party, bringing out everyone's over-sized costumed and groovy dance moves. Throughout the evening, hundreds of guests flocked the dance floor to showcase their dancing and let loose. With Asbjorn Schmidt on the deck blasting his Funky Tunes he has the country club bustling with activity with such guests such as Commissioner Osborn laying down some iconic moves from his early years. Again, Pacific Bluffs teamed up with our close associate James Eriksen to deliver another high-end vehicle raffle - The Corquette Classic. Congratulations to Kopi Crozen for winning the vehicle!
  8. Making Headlines! Given the continued success of Assured Services, the corporation has started to gain more media attention and public awareness. Assured Events, has hosted several highly successful events, yielding more attendees then most events in the states history. Thanks to the excellent facilities and sharp minds of his Events Coordinators Sokka & Emily Lazoo with the expertise and experience of the Executive Team the quality and level of engagement at these events has really set the standard. Most recently, Assured Events hosted a summer beach party at Pacific Bluffs. Once again hundreds of attendees flocked the leisure facility, exceeding our 80 vehicle capacity. Among the crowd was Senior Writer Asbjorn Schmidt who had come along with his pen and paper to document the event. During his time at the Party, Asbo mingled with the guests, talked to the staff and snapped some photos for his news article. The full article can be found on fourth page of the paper.
  9. C-Suite addition This months executive meeting covered many important topics. The primary focus of this meeting was on improving the effectiveness and overall customer experience for our subsidiaries. We have started to review the processes for each of our branching, making minor altercations to some areas and entirely revamping the process of others, for example we've recently developed a submission form for Maze Bank West's lifeinvader page which will improve the overall organisation and speed of obtaining a loan. In the second half of the meeting, Paulo had a small announcement to make. Following discussions with his fellow executives, they came to a unanimous agreement over the progression of one of their employees. Caleb Allison recently joined the team as the company's legal director, during the course of his employment Caleb demonstrated his ability in employee management, taking the initiative to start compiling personnel files for the staff. Following his performance Paulo, Blair and James saw it fitting to offer Caleb a seat at the executives table in his new job role as Chief People Officer.
  10. Moving Day With the exponential growth of the company, Paulo has decided to relocate to company Head Quarters from the Maze Bank West Tower, to Bluff Office complex located in Del Perro. This new building lied in a central location to all of Assured Services Subsidiaries and provides a plentiful amount of space to not only facilitate our current branches but also any future ventures. A job this big required some help, Paulo reached out to his associate construction firm and called in some favors. With the vast quantity of equipment, we had to lease two Packer removal vans and several forklifts which did the heavy carrying. Additionally Paulo thought it was a prime opportunity to put Assured Services on the map. Having reached out to the Weazel CEO Jason Tate, they both went on a little tour around the site, inspecting the premise and the facilities it had to offer. After the intensive afternoon, Paulo extended his gratitude to his friends who had given up their afternoons to help the company move into their new HQ.
  11. Marking the milestone Two Years on from it's creation, Assured Services has evolved into the self sufficient, Multi-Million dollar company that it is today. With the rate of expansion for both services and staff being at it's highest in the company's history, it's paramount that all branches effectively communicate with each other. With the introduction of two new department heads, Paulo called for another management meeting to take place. After some additional seating was added to the boardroom to facilitate the staff increase, we commenced the discussions. After some very fruitful discussions the entire team was buzzing with excitement following the announcement of new subsidiaries and events to take place. To mark the milestone, Paulo had called in some favours with a friend down at the Los Santos Aviation Association to reward his team for their hardwork over the last year. After congregating outside of Maze Bank West, they convoyed down to Pacific Bluffs where there treat awaiting them. Upon arrival, three top of the range, Buckingham Deluxe Helicopters were waiting. All the staff made their way into their retrospective helicopters, buckled up, cracked open the champagne and enjoyed the scenic ride. Paulo led the convoy of helicopters on a small tour around the beautiful coast, allowing the team to take in the staggering before landing at their leased super yacht. After a happy landing, the team made full use of the onboard bar facilities, making their way through bottles of wine, beer, vodka and whisky. This was also the perfect opportunity to take a staff photo. Paulo handed his mobile over to the captain of the vessel, who happily obliged. Paulo then received a tour of the vessel while his staff team split off and did some exploration of their own. After being granted access to the his personal quarters, Paulo was presented with the opportunity of maneuvering the yacht. Hesitantly, Paulo took the wheel and engaged the throttle. After accelerating to 15 knots, Paulo became alert to a small flashing light on the ships dashboard. After alerting the Captain, he became aware that his hasty handling on this ship had resulting in some engine complications. This incident seemed like the perfect time for him and his team to leave. He summoned them all back to the main deck, before jumping back in the cockpit, performing preflight checks, and setting course back to Pacific Bluffs. The un-amused Captain waved off each of the helicopters as they flew off into the horizon. After all flights had safely grounded, the staff rendezvoused to extend their gratitude to the two Pilots from LSAA for their time and helis. The experience helped raise staff morale and was a great way to reward them for their dedication and continuous efforts in getting the corporation where it stands today! (Thank you MarcoD and Thunderboss! )
  12. Ethical Business Practice Given the growth of Assured Services Operations, it becomes increasingly important to uphold our ethical values. Corporate Social Responsibility is something that we heavily endorse, affecting all our subsidiaries at different levels from Truckers salaries to associated companies. Today Paulo went on a small research trip with Asbjorn Schmidt to find out what wages truckers expect to get paid. We understand that truckers are a vital link in the supply chain, especially so for Fully Cocked, without their service we would be unable to operate our business. Together they assessed the time it takes for Fully Cocked stock to transported from the depot to the store room. From this we were able to calculate that a fair amount for the short trip was approximately $2,500 for the trip, however given our stance and values we will now be paying all truckers $4,000 per delivery. This week will also see our monthly management meeting with all subsidiary managers. During this meeting, we will be ensuring that all our companies are associated with similar companies, a prime example being Shadow Corporation which follows very similar conduct to Assured Services.
  13. Assured Law Following talks about the introduction of the San Andreas Justice Branch, Paulo assembled his executive staff and immediately set to work on exploiting this business opportunity and expanding the corporation. A project of this magnitude would need decisive planning and organisation, starting with finding a suitable candidate to manage this new branch. After reviewing a plethora of potential contenders, they reached a unanimous agreement on who they all thought to be best suited for the role. Paulo asked Blair to reach out to Caleb Allison, the deputy Chief of LSEMS, to schedule a meeting. Caleb had previously expressed an interest to Blair about the activities of Assured Services as-well-as inquiring about any vacancies however at the time the company was fully staffed. Caleb's impressive Résumé demonstrated the vast range of skills and attributes Caleb possessed that made him perfect for the position. The following day, Paulo, Blair and Caleb all congregated at the Maze Bank West boardroom, where Paulo would propose the Idea of Caleb. This offer was contentedly accepted by Caleb who was keen to get involved. After shaking hands with Paulo, Caleb had assumed the role of Legal Director for Assured Services. We plan for Assured Law to offer a diverse range of services including: Criminal appeal cases, Legal Advice, Civil and Corporate Protection and prosecutions. Our first priority, is training and nurturing a capable team of legal representatives, so that when licensing becomes available we can immediately get the ball rolling.
  14. I do agree with the argument that the alias system does have flaws but I believe it's due to the nature of the game. With it being game, you find that the majority of players chose similar generic features to create their characters. Unless they can diversify character creation enough to the extent that each character has a unique appearance, I can't see a solution to resolve this issue. As previously mentioned, I typically find this works both ways. I've been in law enforcement for over 2 years and during my time, I've obviously upset a lot of criminals. Having been retired since September, I still find people referring to me as "Cop" or being held up due to my past career.
  15. +1 Very nice suggestion, may also be an idea to incorporate text notifications. One issue I have with my real estate businesses is knowing when clients are available to meet, being able to see when they've sent you a text message would make it much easier to schedule appointments, especially for those who's Timezones differ from your own.
  16. Beautiful Cooking Roleplay during the event, I thoroughly enjoyed my BBQ wings and Soda! Happy to have helped retrieve your van. I look forward to seeing you at future events!

  18. Staff Morale! Following their discussion, Burnout Nation reached out to Paulo regarding a small party taking place for Burnout Nation members and Assured Services staff to attend. This event would allow both teams to get-to-know each other outside of the formal business setting following their plethora of events together. We initially met at the parking lot of "Horneys" in Mirror Park, where we kicked of the evening with a game of car hide and seek. The two rounds was tremendous fun for all, during the first round no members of Assured were found, however during the second time around only Asbjorn managed to remain hidden despite Paulo's camouflage. Following the two rounds, everyone was starting to feel a little hungry, so they went back to Asbo's house in mirror park where he lit the BBQ and threw some freshly procured produce on the grill. This was a lovely way to finish off the night, with everyone tucking into their food, enjoying the sunset, talking and swimming in the pool. This was a nice reward for both teams after their months of hard work, running several state wide events. We look forward to the future with Burnout Nation and hope to collaborate more with them on upcoming events.
  19. Getting around town At Assured Services we firmly believe that keeping up-to-date is essential to success. All our employees are encouraged to attend events, meet with new people and explore new opportunities. Recently Paulo attended the swearing in of the judges at the cities newly renovated Court House. Law has always been close to home for Paulo and the majority of his employees who have served in the Emergency Services, it's also becoming increasingly relevant as we see more and more bureaucracy surrounding commerce in Los Santos. Paulo was the first member of the public to enter the court house having waited for the doors to open. During the ceremony, Paulo looked and listened carefully as each of the four judges were sworn in. Following the swearing, the floor was opened up to public questioning and a plethora of members from the audience contributed to the fruitful discussion about what the new department is going to mean for the City. This not only allowed Paulo to get-to-grips early on what's to come, but also start planning for future business endeavors. Paulo has already set some plans in motion regarding his personal career with the department, but is also going to schedule a follow up meeting with his executives to see what opportunities lie in wait for Assured.
  20. Community Interaction Assured Services prides itself on its community integration. Not only do we like to support community events and businesses but we always do our best to attend events and get involved. Over the last few months, Assured Services and Burnout Nation have been continuously meeting and offering mutual support for each others events. Paulo, being a fan of motorsport, recently jumped at the opportunity to sponsor a drag race. He contributed $75,000 to the winner of one of the categories, as well as tested his nerve behind the wheel of his Lampagati Casco in the sports classic category. After an exhilarating head-to-head with a fellow Casco enthusiast, Paulo found himself in the final going up against a Mamba. Thanks to the Casco light and nimble performance it was able to get the head-start it needed to take first place! It was an extremely successful event which we were more then happy to have helped! Following the event, Paulo had several business meetings to attend across the state. After a scenic cruise through the newly emerged undergrowth Paulo was able to meet with one of his tenants. To conclude the day, Paulo drove up to "The Lot" and met up with the Burnout Nation team after the event, to discuss upcoming events. Paulo had previously discussed a join staff event with Assured and Burnout to formally introduce the two teams which had been working so closely. This idea was then re-ignited by Don Mozzarella who proposed a BBQ at one of their residence followed by some fun-team building exercises. Paulo stenciled this date into his calendar and returned back to his home to rest following his busy day. Assured Services looks forward to the future to see how it can help its continuous contributions to the community!
  21. +1 on this, this is long overdue for businesses. This would allow for companies to expand their staff teams allowing for alternative methods of income. It would also allow businesses such a vehicle dealerships and loan companies to be more accessible to players. e.g. Loan companies only have one owner, which eliminates players in alternative Time zones to be able to take out loans.
  22. Assured State of Mind With a key eye for business, Paulo Witherfork has over 15 years management experience. Paulo has successfully nurtured and grown his own corporation from a small business into a plethora of flourishing companies with rising shares in the market. In 2019, Paulo became a co-founder of Assured Security, which aimed at providing high security to the citizens of Los Santos. After a prosperous beginning, Paulo furthered his capital investment and began to diversify the company. Through his leadership and vision, Paulo has propelled Assured to become one of the top business corporations in Los Santos. Paulo graduated with a Bachelor of Criminal Psychology from the University of East Anglia in 1998. After moving to Los Santos he spend one year working with the Los Santos Emergency Medial Department, achieving the rank of Medical Director before pursuing his career in Law Enforcement. During his time in the force, he was able to make the rank of Sergeant II, Assisting Commanding Officer of SWAT, Vespucci Watch Commander, Field Agent of DPB and head of Surveillance. Following his resignation from the Sheriffs Department in 2020, he devoted all his time to overseeing Assured Services. 2020 - 2021 saw the greatest growth for the company. Under his guidance, profits were increased by 35% and three new subsidiaries were opened, Pacific Bluffs, Fully Cocked and Assured Property Management. He created Assured originally as a security agency, but eventually build an entire company offering a diverse range of services at the highest quality. In additional to his role as CEO, Paulo is also heavily invoved in his community. As part of Assured Services business ethics, Paulo dedicated a portion of his time every month to encouraging entrepreneurship and improving commerce in Los Santos at his own expense. He collaborated with Shadow Corporation to found the states first Chamber of Commerce. This organisation aims at improving the dialogue between the people of Los Santos and city Leaders. This was a monumental event, not only was it the first public Inquiry session but it allowed those who were unable to raise their concerns to have a voice. Additionally, he also lectures at various events, giving speeches on topics such as the importance of financial management as well as entrepreneurial tips. Although it's a tough job managing such a large company Paulo can rely on his trusted team of executives and managers to continue Assured Services augmentation.
  23. Pacific Bluffs Car Show This weekend saw Assured Services host its first car meet. This event was the first for newly appointed co-managers of our events division, Sokka and Emily Lazoo. After weeks of preparation and assistance from Executive Staff, they were able to make their vision a reality. Half an hour before the event started, the car park was already starting fill up and by the time the gates opened we were causing traffic jam both ways on the interstate. Before we knew it the car park for Pacific Bluffs was already exceeding it's 100 vehicle capacity! After hours of live music and bustling activity it was judging time. Paulo, Asbjorn Schmit, Alex Odison, Jay Endo and Steve Oconnor made their way around the car park inspecting the diverse range of vehicles. It was tough, but eventually they were able to narrow it down to the top Three vehicles. Sokka and Emily took to the stage, and announced to three winners of the car show as well as the winner for the Maxed Elergy Retro Custom. Congratulations to Lilymay for taking 1st prize with the beautiful soft top Castco, Harry Payne for his matte red FMJ and Phillipe Sanzhez for his gold chrome Zentorno and questionable outfit. We look forward to hosting plenty more future events!
