  1. the labs should be altered to not be unpushable if this change is ever even considered
  2. well i give up. these responses actually feel like ragebait. ima go get beat by cops and get dave to say "otf holding afgan 20 deep" and ruin the criminal community through the method of infinite ap cops ^ a very easy thing to do and within server rules (somewhat) time to murder every person that spots me cooking at sealabs and vet jimbob for 3 months before letting him speak to another player since apperantly thats the tim sutton guide 4 criminal w's
  3. oh shit you can see that?
  4. I think certain methods of detective work need to be reworked. For example, if cops compromise Empire frequency and we call out that OTF is holding a lab, cops shouldn’t be able to push that lab immediately. It’s way too easy to abuse. If I wanted to, I could intentionally get caught by cops and have a friend say on frequency that OTF is cooking at a lab, just to ruin an opposing gang’s time. And it’s not just this - cops are involved in almost every fight. A lot of them use gun sound mods, meaning they can hear shots from a crazy distance. (Listen, I use the same gun sound mods, but I’m not sending people to 3 hours of gulag over it.) With the declining player base, everything is becoming too easy to metagame. If a cop sees you, chances are they’ll fuck you over. I know this has probably been brought up before, but with the current state of the server the declining player base and every interaction turning into a crashout from someone - it really doesn’t make sense that a random gang who avoids cops perfectly get completely ruined because some random hangaround from another gang got their frequency beat and someone called out that XYZ is holding. I’m sure cops will disagree, but right now it’s way too easy for gangs to direct cops onto rival gangs without any backlash.
  5. this never got like helped with, with is fair enough, i had to smash my phone which is depressing. you guys should totally give me a custom phone number due to the fact i found this bug you know?
  6. Hi just some positivity, I don’t think the Xiao Dynasty has any roleplay feedback forms, but I just wanted to say that they’re genuinely awesome. The RP they do is brilliant, and they clearly put in an incredible amount of effort compared to most groups. It’s unique, creative, and genuinely great to see.
  7. Date and time (provide timezone): Over the last like 2 days Game Edition (Legacy/Enhanced/both): Legacy Character name: David Deltoid Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: Yes How many times did this issue appear for you?: Everytime Issue/bug you are reporting: The texts portion on my phone no longer works, I've made the assumption that it has gotten full since I've never deleted binds in my 2 years of being in gangs and it only is broken on this character. This is pretty big issue since now I can't recieve any IC communcation like drops, binds, locations. Expected behavior: It should show my texts, conversations. Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://streamable.com/v70msx, To replicate it you probably need to have more then 500 different text converstations going on something like that.
  8. Diabolical view. It's a roleplay server and people fight on it, since its semi optimized for that; this means that we should make those fights fair. Everyone enjoys fighting, even people who roleplay. He's clearly made a suggestion that is about making fights better. I personally think you should only be able to drive by in first person even as a passenger. Get people out of pay to win meta asf cars 24/7.
  9. Would be abused on the crim side. No IC repercussions for crims.
  10. I agree with the notorious and probably muscular Chase Vincero. Remove them pending a set date, hopefully Cartel would buy them back and we could ICly say that the Combat MG MK2’s that were imported were shitty Chinese guns and constantly broke. Maybe the police will run a gun buy back scheme and we get $.60 on the dollar of other RP opportunities will happen. This way people have to go through RP avenues instead of just having a command. Or just secretly nerf the MG MK2 and no one will care anyway what happens to it.
  11. This last topic about this got locked so lets start a new one, firstly, No-one cares about the LEO v crim thing we're just here to talk about the actual script. So far I've had multiple fights since this update and I can imagine it being good if it was made well however it just has way too many issues, I was fighting some empire earlier and they were on a roof and I'm pretty sure if they wanted to fire a shot from that roof they would of basically had to dangle their whole body on the edge however I'd need their input on that. God forbid you have a fight with someone on a staircase, for some reason stairs are basically a safe zone now. I can imagine it being good once it's been tweaked and mended but I think right now its way too buggy. Anyone else got any points to bring up that isn't passively aggressively targeted at a group or a certain person?
  12. I've been playing as a criminal for a while, and honestly, it's not that bad. No matter what I do, even if I kill someone or do anything in-character, the maximum sentence I get is two hours, which I can just AFK through. I can literally get out of prison, do another task for an hour and a half, and then buy a pump shotgun with the money. Honestly, it's fair enough to see the police driving Jugulars, as I literally bought an overpowered Paragon and an Issi Sport for like 80 quid during a sale. So, it would be pretty unfair if that alone justified me winning every time. Sure, there are the occasional people in PD who are clearly there just to use the free weapons and cars to win fights and situations, but I wouldn’t go so far as to throw shade on the whole faction. In almost every situation I want to win, I've never been in a gunfight and thought, "Hmm… would it be better for roleplay if I lost this fight?" That’s because I have the two-hour prison sentence hanging over my head, along with the loss of my pump, AP, or whatever kit I have. It’s simple, I’ve got this, and I don’t want to lose it. I don’t think PD should change at all in the way you're proposing, as it literally makes no sense. Most players drive around in meta vehicles (why wouldn’t you?), and PD should respond accordingly. Was I annoyed when PD called in K9 units on my car? Yes. Was it because I’d been caught with a heavy weapon three times that day? Also yes. I do think you're being super unfair by singling out PD. I was in SD, and I was given a pump Mk2 within a month. I'm not saying that's a bad thing just pointing out that it's also a super overpowered gun. Sure, it can be super annoying if you get screwed over, but if you play your cards right, it won’t happen. If you don’t get into a gunfight with a cop who has AP and a carbine Mk2, you’re not going to lose that gunfight. To be fair though, if I didn't have diamond VIP, and if I actually worked hard to buy a jugular or something, I'd probably be really fucking annoyed.
  13. Seems a bit silly, would've been smarter to just make so you can only spawn like 5 lockpicks (and other faction spawned items) every hour and making them $0 at the pawn shop like similar to speakers, instead of adding this probably more complicated and annoying script.
  14. I think the current system is fair and realistic. PD cannot raid your houses if they find your fingerprints anywhere, at least on the IC side of things and I'm sure there is an investigation or RP behind the raid that will be ruined if they displayed the reasons OOCly. PD also cannot just raid someone, they need to get a warrant from a judge who understands what's needed for a search or seizure warrant and if you want to know what they need just go speak to an attorney so then you can be a better crim. It's pretty difficult to get raided for a situation you are NLR'd from as it goes through alot of people and people aren't retarded and can see if your characters died and if you do, communicate to people about it, as obviously this isn't intended. NLR is pretty vague but if you don't die because or during an event, you're probably not NLR'd from that event.
  15. Good suggestion, Love the idea.
  16. Seeding Peace The Background While the Waterfelons and E$M had not exactly been enemies or friends, there was some unsettled tension. This tension stemmed from a previously released song by the Waterfelons, which contained a verse targeted at E$M. The Waterfelons were given 72 hours to either edit the song or take it down, but they refused to act on it. Fights between the Waterfelons and E$M were rare but still occurred occasionally. This left members feeling unclear about the reasons behind the conflicts. The fights mainly stemmed from petty trash talk from both parties. E$M’s command banded together and decided it was time for an official meeting with the Waterfelons. This led the underboss of the Mob, Joaquin Leone, to the Pink Cage Motel to request a meeting between the command members of E$M and the Waterfelons at our diner, to which they agreed. The Meeting E$M command waited outside for the Waterfelons to arrive, while other members prepped food and drinks inside the diner. The Waterfelons were taken to the offices above the diner and seated. The lead chef/waiter headed upstairs to take their orders, surprised by the order of “beans on toast.” He begrudgingly agreed. The meeting mainly focused on why the two groups were in the current state of tension. Both parties were confused, leading the conversation to address why their "beef" was unnecessary. As they ate and drank, they continued to discuss [REDACTED]. The waiter periodically came upstairs to offer food, water, or cigarettes. After the conversation, E$M and the Waterfelons agreed to stop pushing, fighting, and talking trash. Satisfied with the meeting’s outcome, the meal came to an end, and the bill was covered by the owner, Callum Goat. Unlike other visitors to the Eastside Diner, the Waterfelons left the waiter a hefty tip along with a smile.
  17. I think adding this could bring some cool RP, but honestly, I don’t see it outweighing the issues. People would probably use it to drag out situations with PD/SD. I’ve seen both PD and SD handle negotiations really well, and other times just push in or take out the threat, which is how it should be. The IC rules for LEOs are already enough, and adding more rules will just lead to more reports, which isn’t really going to help anyone. Onto the crim to crim aspect, there is already a lot of speculating on when, who and what can I shoot with what escalation I have I feel like adding more rules and steps I have to look out for before opening fire on a guy who just kidnapped one of my guys is just going to create more reports.
  18. Turning the Page The Background Lost MC and E$M had been fighting extensively for around 5 to 6 months. The conflict began when a few Lost MC members went rogue and took control. These fights were unproductive, leaving members of both gangs either dead or arrested, with little to no reward. Despite this, the clashes continued almost daily. Lost MC’s constant checking of dealers and instigating fights forced E$M to retaliate. E$M knew deep down that this wasn’t the real Lost MC, but rather a shadow of its former self, echoed through the actions of a small group of members. Recently, the few remaining true members of Lost MC were left in the dust, forced to abandon their recent reckless ways, even if some wanted to continue. Lost MC had become a shell of its former self, with only a few core members remaining. They realized it was time to mend the relationships that had been left in ruins, so they decided to arrange a meeting with Callum and the rest of the E$M leadership. The Meeting E$M waited outside their new diner as multiple Gargoyles pulled up, making it clear that Lost MC had arrived. The Lost MC members were brought inside the diner, where they were greeted with an open bar and a waiter. They sat down while other members of E$M enjoyed a meal on the side. The waiter came over to offer food and drinks, but the Lost MC members declined, which the waiter took as a sign of disrespect, feeling annoyed. The meeting pressed on, with E$M questioning the integrity of Lost MC and their desire to return to their stronger past. Lost MC made it clear that they were ready to make amends for the wrongs done by their rogue members, agreeing to reimburse [REDACTED]. As the conversation continued, E$M members sipped whiskey while discussing the future of their relationship with Lost MC. However, no concrete decisions were made. In the end, Lost MC said their farewells and left the diner without tipping the bartender leaving him shocked.
