  1. I think that's a fantastic idea.
  2. It shouldn't be that LSPD has sole control of the impound lot, considering IRL impound lots are generally not controlled by police.
  3. Standing and waiting at impound for 1-2 IRL hours is very non RP
  4. So how does doing /park help the issue with impound?
  5. If you get arrested they impound your car.
  6. True. Definitely meant to post in suggestions. Would an admin be able to move it for me, please?
  7. Frustrated player here. Tired of the impound. Police impound your vehicle, and then make it a huge pain in the ass to get your vehicle back. I have literally been standing at impound for a RL hour waiting for police to show up. That's why I am taking the time to type this. I think the impound needs to change in one of five ways. Automate the impound, like tickets. Allow players to obtain their own vehicles back without waiting on PD, who take hours to show up. Force PD to keep someone stationed at Impound to serve the people, releasing vehicles. Give mechanics control of the impound, so they can take it over and actually give people's vehicles back. Remove the impound, since PD can't be responsible for it's operation. Create a new official "security" faction, who would assume control of impound, and other NCZ's, as well as prisoner transport from PD to Bolenbrooke. Would love to hear any other ideas. Thanks for reading. EDIT: Formatting
  8. Donators don't really get any useful perks aside from 50% cheaper parking and 50% less fuel use.
  9. With all these incredibly expensive things; houses, cars, businesses- I got to thinking... what's the fastest way to make money? Ideally I'd like to save up the $5,000,000 for a gas station.
  10. +1 Tired of police having all say in what crimes a person supposedly commits.

    Duo jobs

+1 Would love to see something like this implemented. Especially for non-faction jobs. That would afford lawful civilian players to meet people and become friends.
  12. +1 I think this is a great idea that could help a lot of players as far as obtaining weapons. I think it could also generate many role-play opportunities. It could be a faction in and of itself to distribute goods, legal or illegal. I think this idea could go a long way. It could be a structured faction, similar to PD or MD, with a clear leader, training etc etc and recruitment.
  13. +1 Sounds like a great idea and could have a lot of roleplay benefits.
  14. Probably not. But we're also talking about unrealistic ratios of police:civilians - Los Angeles for example has 387 civilians per police officer. The server has a much higher ratio of officers:civs/crims. Also; average response time for an event in LA is a little over 5 minutes. I don't know what city you'd rather compare Los Santos to, but just saying that police have a large advantage compared to real life, and they need to be nerfed or changed a bit somehow.
  15. I strongly disagree with this thread. If we're gonna basically remove criminal RP, may as well remove police RP, too. -1
  16. +1 Also make cops drop their stuff on death (i.e. weapon/radio etc)
  17. Raided to obtain drugs and weapons; possibly even breaking people out of the three cells in the basement. Prison break rules are: Permission for prison break must be approved by a Moderator+ prior to the attempt. Players may participate in no more than 1 prison break attempt within 1 OOC week. Official Factions may attempt 2 additional breaks in the case the prisoner is the faction leader. So we could do something similar. Alternatively, make police drop weapons when they die. That would be acceptable and probably easier than PD raids. It'd cut back on the Rambo police officers who are superman and have no value for life.
  18. DoC is raidable, but hardly ever gets raided. Just would need a cooldown.
