  1. I see your point but the way it’s done in ECRP is in my opinion, terrible RP. Clapper gangs will do it so they can just get into their shootouts and kill people without receiving consequences of their actions. They don’t do it for a reason to create conflicts but just to get out of any consequences and I think that’s Poor RP
  2. +/- 1 From Me -1 as dressing up in another gangs clothes during a mass shootout is just at that point a EXTREMELY POOR IC decision. There shouldn’t be a rule against it as it’s just a bad decision and it was your choice you should deal with the consequences of getting smoked by your own ally due to your decision to dress up as an enemy. +1 on the grounds of eliminating dressing up as other gangs. In my opinion, you should NEVER be dressed up in another gangs colors / clothes and should only be allowed to drop your own colors / clothes. For example gang 1 and gang 2 get in shootout. Gang 1 is in gang 3s colors. Nobody “wins” the fight. Gang 2 is now pissed at Gang 3 for no reason and Gang 1 can just keep going about there business. I personally despise this as it just creates such a poor RP environment of just starting fights that are so unnecessary and are providing 0 RP. That’s just my 2 cents on the situation and this idea. If you dress up as another gang and die it’s a Poor IC decision. But it shouldn’t be allowed to dress up as another gang.
  3. I really think this would be a great idea to implement, but sadly I don't think it will work. RIGHT NOW, EMS RP isn't the absolute best from what I've experienced. Now I will say I've had countless great interactions with members of EMS but I've seen plenty of times where they just run up, hit their AHK and just treat you which kinda ruins the experience when I see every medic with the same AHK. I personally think this could be amazing if it didn't turn into a mass AHK simulator where you show up to Pillbox or whatever, a medic hits their AHK it spits out a bunch of text then enters a command to fix you. COUNTER-SUGGESTION A suggestion I've heard lots of people talk about it whether it's through TS or just conversations in general is if someone from MD or someone from the server released an MD "RP Guide", that describes some common situations that happen and potential injuries and how to RP them. I know this would be an absolute pain in the ass, but I think it could help people better RP injuries for everyone to get more immerse RP. Right now, for the most part, 90% of the injuries I ever see or RP is a "Black Eye" if I get punched and injured or a Gunshot wound. I just think if an RP guide was released to help everyone learn more potential injuries they could RP it gives MD more RP then "Oh you got a black eye here take this magic ice pack and go fuck off" or "Oh he's shot, alright lemme just take this band-aid and put it over it and poof you're big chilling now" ( Obviously they put more effort and go more in-depth just me making a little joke ). That's all I gotta say, I think medic RP is good but it'd be nice to see a guide that could help people learn how to properly RP some injuries. Now I shall leave you with a tiktok that shows how gunshot wounds are treated on ECRP
  4. The problem is from what I know, there's no rule stating that if you're asking to stop OOCly you have to unless it's Slurs or something of that matter. I know for a fact I have PM'd someone before to stop saying something or stop doing it as it was making me uncomfortable and they just PM you back "IC is IC"or "Cut /pm" and it's just really unecessary. The big thing I dislike tho is the people that are like "IC is IC" are also the people that will go on to complain that Prison timers are too long and be like "I'm being punished OOC for something I did IC". Not trying to turn this into a Prison Timer thread but just wanted to make the example that people are always gonna cherrypick phrases to get out of things such as IC is IC and only try to use those when it benefits them. Overall, I hope staff agrees with this thread and something gets implemented.
  5. Hello, I'd just like to add my opinion into this, ECRP is a wonderful place that people can load into and just be out of the real world, someone might be dealing with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety or anything that's damaging to themselves and they come to play ECRP so they can get away from it and just have fun. For that reason, I think it needs to be more looked at what IC things are being said that could harm people on an OOC note. Someone is not considered "soft" if they let things that happen ICly affect them on an OOC level as for a lot of people ECRP is their "life". They love gaming and being able to hangout with their friends as I know some people have made lifelong friends from this server. ECRP is more then just some Roleplay server it's a place people go to just "disconnect" from the world and their problems. Now I am not saying ban every word and let nothing happen but I think that there needs to be limitations. An example I thought of that was brought up already was really in the "clapper" community on the server. The amount of times you just see people be like "Get smoked you fucking retard" before they get finished is just unheard of and I really see no point to it and what it provides in term of RP for people on the server. I have been playing GTA RP since roughly the end of June and it's some of the most fun times I've ever had, but I have also had terrible experiences with people that just makes you not want to RP. I think the comment about the server getting "soft" is just overall kinda sad. There's ZERO reason to be racist or homophobic to people as it's just unecessary. The final thing I will say is that I agree the server's gotten "soft" in regards to policing poor RP standards and like Corbyn said, the state of RP of some people make's you want to avoid RP with certain people. There's some people on this server that I absolutely love getting the ability to login every day to hangout with them and see their RP as they create fun RP that makes me laugh while maintaining a high level of RP. Then there's people that make me not want to play because of how they RP. I think people should be more encouraged to start doing /goodrp and /badrp or even make some type of "reward" for submitting actual answers to them and potentially make it where players can see their /goodrp and /badrp anonymously so they can see what some people are disliking or liking about their roleplay so they can get better. Overall I really agree with Dezzy's original post and think terms like "Kill yourself" should fall under OOC and IC interactions to promote good fun RP for everyone.

  7. -1 For Me, Part 1 : Like harvey said the rules about having to act like some where’s populated is only for player robberies and nothing else to my knowledge. Like Skye said as well we don’t detain or pull out until we have 100% proof that you were in the store Part 2 : I get your point but this makes no sense. You’re comparing ECRP to real life and it’s just not. In real life cops aren’t dealing with multiple shootouts a day, multiple pursuits of motorcycles that just start driving off road, vehicles that are going 200 KM/H in and out of traffic in the city or on highways. Along with what Skye said as well, if you flip your cruiser or mess it up, 70% of the time you’re waiting there until the pursuits over unless you get lucky and someone can pick you up. I will add at the end that I am a member of LSSD so people can take that into account when reading the post. I’ll also add that we have certain IC protocols involving some of the topics you’re bringing up.

  14. 𝓔𝓪𝓻𝓵𝔂 𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 Carolin Rose was born on the 21st of July, 1997 in New Haven Connecticut into your average American family. It was evident to her family from early on that Carolin was a gifted individual. Carolin was able to do 5th-grade level math problems from the age of 5 and was also reading on a 5th-grade level. She had a natural talent for school and that would become obvious later in her life. 𝓣𝓮𝓮𝓷𝓪𝓰𝓮 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓼 As Carolin grew older she would become what everyone would call the stereotypical "nerd". This led to some obvious bullying in her life but she would never let it bother her. She always put a smile on her face and ignored it. During this time she started thinking of her future and fell in love with journaling. She kept a journal that she has used every single day since she was 12 just giving herself an outlet to rant about the problems that she was having whether it was boy troubles, stress, or bullying she would just write it down and forget it ever happened. She took multiple journalism classes in her highschool of Wilbur Cross High School. It was around this time when the journalism teacher approached her and told her about the opportunities Los Santos has for journalists. The teacher told her if she was able to graduate within the top 5 of her class she could probably get a full-ride scholarship to the University of Los Santos and pursue the career she always dreamed of n journalism. She took what the teacher said to heart and would spend countless hours studying every single night, she never got below 100 on another assignment, quiz, or test in high school. She graduated as Valedictorian and received a full-ride scholarship to the University of Los Santos. It was a hard conversation she had to have with her parents about what her plans were but her parents supported her decision and just wanted their little baby to be happy. 𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓰𝓮 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓼 Carolin packed herself 2 suitcases of clothes and bought a plane ticket to Los Santos and left the house en route to college at the University of Los Santos. It was a long and grueling 8-hour flight but when she arrived in the city of Los Santos...she was stunned. It was everything she imagined, tall skyscrapers, cars honking, and tons of traffic, she was finally living in the big city and she couldn't wait to start her life. She called a cab and made her way to the University where she then found her dorm room and met her roommate Kayla Macintyre. Kayla would grow to become Carolins' best friend in the world and they would always challenge each other. Kayla was a Biology major while Carolin was a Journalism major so they never had classes together but would always challenge each other by seeing who could get the higher GPA. They were so opposite yet so similar and it made for one of the best friendships Carolin would ever have. Kayla was your stereotypical "Goth" girl while Carolin was your "Nerd" who wore big and round Hairy Potter glasses. Even though Carolin had made a new best friend that was pushing her to be the best the realities of College quickly set in on her. During her first 2 years of college she was able to live without getting a job, living solely off of her saved money from her high school job. This led to her having more time on her hands and being able to visit her family every month or 2. After she ran out of her High school money she quickly realized how expensive college is and ended up working 1 or 2 jobs at a time to be able to afford the rent for college. This made her stressed out a lot but she wasn't going to give up. It was her dream to be a journalist and she would work through it, and she did. Carolin would balance working 1-2 jobs at a time with school and graduate after her 4th year at college with a Masters's Degree in Journalism. She moved away from college and into the heart of the city ready to start her life!

  16. Big +1 I personally use the visual repair feature quite a lot just because I like seeing my car look clean but I know a lot of people either 1. Never use it or 2. Use it just to see the actual colors when doing mods. It just simply needs to be cheaper and last longer. For example make it where only driving on dirt roads / off road makes your car get dirty, then it makes it worth it to get a car wash

  19. Hello ! This is a suggestion I agree with TOTALLY. Reports in general right now are in a very toxic and very petty state. There are many ways I think this could be handled but I think this falls under something the Staff of the server need to enforce more. The recent report that happened with Caesar and him receiving a NRP punishment for wheelying over the Toll Booth I think is a PRIME example of this. Sure, what he did was more then likely NRP but this is a situation that could've very easily been solved on an OOC level that did not involve a forum report. The player could've messaged him about it, made a /report 1 3 or 4 about the situation, or could've just left it go as they lost nothing but maybe $600 dollars from him skipping the toll. I think there's 2 ways this problem could really be handled. 1. Punishments other then NRP #Whatever or DM #Whatever for outcomes of reports : Now this is something I think could work very well. Basically instead of players just being punished for every time a forum report gets accepted they could receive just a spoken to. I think it'd be better if the only times actual punishments were handed out were times when it was a severe rule break, the rule break caused the reporting party a significant loss, or if the person is a repeat offender. This would open up the ability for less punishments and more just educating players on rules as I feel like a large large majority of the playerbase if they just heard from an admin or anyone that what they did was not allowed, they normally won't repeat that act. 2. /PM and try to work stuff out on an OOC level : Forum reports should simply be a last case resort. They should only be conducted after you 1st : Try to PM them and talk about the situation, if you can't talk it out completely peacefully and apologize about the situation or something then inform them you will be reporting. 2nd : Make an In-game report and try to speak to an admin or moderator in game about the situation and have it handled there. 3rd : Make the forum report and provide proof you already tried both of the things before this. If players tried these things I think it would make for a much better environment and RP more enjoyable if you could do RP without essentially just worrying about getting reported all the time for a miniscule rulebreak you may commit. This overall would just create a better environment for anyone if you can just go about RP without that worry in the back of your mind "Am I gonna get in trouble for this." I'd like to end this comment with saying that I agree that major rule breaks should go to the forums. In the cases where Metagaming might've happened should be dealt with but some of the situations where NRP specifically is handed out, I think should be attempted to solved in game OOCly with reports and pms instead of just getting people punishments. I will also say I've been on both sides of these Petty reports with me making one that I actually do regret a lot and wish I could take back and being reported for something very petty that the reporting party lost nothing. Thats all I got to say, I hope this is a suggestions that's looked at and really talked about as I think it is something that needs to change.
  20. Hello ! I'd just like to say I agree with everything Purely said, I also agree with a lot of the points the original creator said and believe the DM rule should be relooked at and updated. That's all.
  21. Ill do 250k for the Rapid GT, shoot me a text when you're available to make the trade.
  22. It is like this because realistically they're not gonna just admit you to the hospital and leave you. Realistically you'd be escorted by officers in and then escorted out but it's not like that for script and other reasons. This is why I believe it's like that but I may not be correct.
  23. I'll take 350k for the vehicle
