  6. This way chopping can turn into another option for cooking and help "save" the crim on the server right now. the current state of chops is "make a garage on your property and give it a few days before someone hears a sound and raids it because of one or two sounds" This is what I strongly dissagree on when this is a Strict real life simulator. Any legal person could have a own mechanic station set up in their garage, as I do in real life. Makes no sense for gangs and randoms to raid a property simply because of 1 tire exploding or sound of the lift or whatever. therefor Having a GTA ONLINE type garage where you enter just like properties and houses/drive it in as in GTA ONLINE style ish, would make it so the same rule applies as it does to property labs and houses - You cant raid a lab/house simply for seeing someone walk in a property with a gun on their hip and a crate in their hand. They need to have solid RP evidence to raid it. If Garages like GTA ONLINE 12 car garages or smaller is implemented same rules can apply and makes it more realistic and better for CRIMS on ecrp. The bigger the garage the more expensive just like the properties being used for cooking. This way the price range would be almost equal to starting a lab. 1-2Mill for a 6-12 GTA online style garage, 200k ish for the chop equipment and etc. Another way of implementing it is to use buisness properties. Like the way we see basement under the buisiness place like a night club. Under that night club is a basement where your character does illegal work and or more legal works. Using that with the script can associate chops, cooks, fight clubs, you name it to be done with a peace of mind as well as with many other people too. And as for those who cannot afford such rich business places, they could still keep doing the chops as they are done right now. With more risc. Here are some pictures Inside here there would fit a few chop stations maybe 2 or more. maybe not more than 2-3. Costing the ish same amount as big properties which can be used as a cooking lab and whatever. Smaller garage costing same amount ish as smallest property, also can be used as normal garage or chops station. Adding this would make it way easier for crews, gangs to properly RP doing chops. Instead of crim turning into a fighting sim and E & SPACE simulator.
  7. -1 This would make Crim characters/factions struggle even more. As they keep needing to change clothes and etc to stay hidden from cops and rival gangs. BUT Maybe having a command where "I /alias someone, they need to accept the alias. If its a stranger he can deny it and go on his way. But if there would be a reason to remember him, he would accept. That might be a better idea if many people have a problem with random /alias.
  8. Epic Idea, makes alot of sense and with the addition of roadwork and burger shot in my opinion, i think a car wash with hourly pay and etc sounds like a good new feature/freelance and a dependant job that people will spend time on because of the hourly pay. This also creates more better RP scenariouse, instead of going to a mechanic and paying half ur wallet on a simple car wash. +1
  9. I think regular updates would be good for the community. Dev blogs monthly or something like that might make the community feel more connected and "happier"
  10. a 10 year old child today was playing basketball inside the garage of the house. He shot some hops and practised with the ball. He did this for about 40 minutes everyday to become the best he can be. But one day after around 15 minutes he heard som noices by the garage door. Not long after 20 armed men with masks bust inside with Shotguns and AK. That kid is now traumatized. A man working down in LSC has his own small workshop in the garage where he changes his tires or maintains his bikes and cars. One day he decided to change his wheels as the pattterns had worn out from him doing donuts in the parking lot. He started to remove the tires before suddenly hearing something in the garage door. Not long after 20 armed men with masks bust inside with Shotguns and AK. This man is now traumatized. A pregnant mother decided to hang up some pictures of family in the garage, the started nailing the walls and hammering the pictures perfectly. But around 10 minutes after, 20 armed men with masks bust inside with Shotguns and AK. She got a heart attack and died, two people died that day. The unborn child and mother. Her family is now traumatized. A young car thief has stolen a car and brought it into his hidden chop shop inside a garage, no one saw him drive anything inside. He starts picking parts apart making some noise. Until 20 armed men with masks bust inside with Shotguns and AK. They got the chop and left the young boy traumatized. This group of armed men robbed all theese houses in one day, but only one house had a chop inside, the rest was innocent souls being traumatized middle ofthe daytime. only 1 out of 4 situations were a chop. Risc>Reward. THIS is very poor RP. ust by hearing a noice shouldnt be a reason to raid someones house. Specially not daytime, maybe nightime. My suggestions is SIMPLY regulate the chop system with SIMPLE written rules like example -No sounds gives reasons to break into a house, but can make it suspecious so they need to INVESTIGATE further. -Camp the house, stake it out from a bush or roof or somewhere hidden, take "pictures" of vehicles going in and not out. Not have a reason before you RP see things go in and never come out. That gives a very good RP reason to start breaking in, then its pretty clear its something fishy going on. In this case Risc<Reward. -Nightime could be a more freetime to start raiding garages if they are a little sus, because the streets are empty and less cops on the street RP wise. It would also make those who chops extra careful at nightime, which would be a cool thing to have ingame. ust like people cant raid wearhouses seeing someone walk in with a crate and a gun on their hip, people shouldnt be allowed to raid people chops for nothing. Simply hearing some tires popping unrealisticly in the first place making it good enough reason to break in is completely insane. What if it was that kid playing basketball, or that pregnant woman putting up pictures. Stop being ignorant.
  11. This would make chopping a little more accessible for those 1000 civs not able or want to involve emself in big gangs/orgs. and a little addition and viariety to the system. +1
  12. As we all have said more than once on this topic, non of us is saying to remove sounds. The sounds work good right now, EXCEPT the tires blowing up when being removed with a tool. Im having a hard time understanding why people think its normal having tires exploding more than one time each, and that it in the first place blows up when removing the tires bolts and lifting it off like any other vehicle in this world. And having a hard time understanding why its ok to raid a house for hearing vehicle's tire popping. RP wise they dont know anything about what might go on in there. A regular man working in 7/11 might be working on his bike inside his own personal garage. A father might change from winter tires to summer tires. using tires popping as a reason to raid is using OOC knowledge that it 100% must be a chop to their IC advantage. Just like we cant rob people at Humane Labs, even tho they are buying ingredients for an illegal activity and we know it OOC wise but not IC wise including cameras, people working and etc at Humane. What about having people break into random houses for hearing one single vehicle's tire exploding 30 times in 3 minutes. ONE single vehicle tire can only blow up once, then its out of air and simply cannot blow up more. If i walk around in a forein neighbourhood, i walk past a garage and hear the sound of a vehicle tire popping/popping noice. Im not gonna automaticly know he is stealing cars, chopping them and selling parts. Thats the last thing i would think off, its not justifiable thinking that, its assuming and fail rp. BUT if i walk in the same neighbourhood or camp a house i have a sus on. I personally see cars going into the garage and never comming out again "or they watch a person lockpick a car and bring it to the garage" THAT is a good RP reason. This is how the sounds should be if it were realisticly Removing doors, panels, wheels shouldnt make much noice at all as we are using manual tools to remove and lift it off. That doesnt make much noice, depends on how rusty the bolts are. But still shouldnt be loud enough to blow through thick walls 5-10 meter out from that wall and out on the street. When you start using the engine hoast there should realisticly be some metal hitting eachother and rope sounds as the engine often is tight placed in the vehicle. Then the Saw which is automatic and makes a loud noice. Which it does ingame with the heavy metal crushing sound when cleaning/cutting. But when the vehicle tire is the loudest sound of them all, most loud, goes the longest distance and etc. You should see that something is wrong, and people are using it to raid it and be completely ok. If the tire popping cant be removed, it should be clear that its not a valid reason to raid. That does not give them a reason to believe an illegal activity is going in. The Chop shop update was to involve more players and more RP scenarios. If RP is to drive past a house, hear an vehicle tire's explosion, i raid it. Thats incredible poor RP with 0 exculation and reason.
  13. As this just happened, someone heard a tire and broke into 4 doors to eventually find out if it was a chop or not. they raided it succesfully. I heard them say "i drove past and heard a vehicle tire popping, so we raided it" realisticly if you drive in a random neighbourhood and you hear a vehicle tire popping, do you think its an illegal activity? But if there would be someone on a roof camping or seeing me bring in a couple cars and never comming out with them, that would be a better reason for an illegal activity which gives reason to attack/rob/break into properties middle of the daytime when people are walking the streets and driving around. We need clear rules and for those vehicles tires to stop exploding as you dont blow up your cars tire by changing it. Here in my country we change it 2-3 times a year. Never have any of my tires ever exploded using the same tool to remove them, specially not continue exploding 500 more times. If it has to explode ingame, then let it blow up one time when removing and thats it.
  14. Sounds should be present abselutely, personally i think its good as it is right now, just not the exploding tires. In my opinion
  15. Hello! A suggestion to remove the sound from tires exploding after removing them with tools. As its not realistic and people can use it against you to "know" its a chop and raid it and etc. To remove the popping sound or make a rule against it. Example - Someone drives past a house and hears vehicles popping from inside a built garage with walls and roofs. They use that knowledge to their advantage to either snitch or raid themself.
