Title says it all, so im gonna jump straight to the point Current situation As of right now the racing script is split into - Private Tracks (player created for 25k and only visible to the creator) - Public Tracks (tracks that are staff approved) Problems that this creates 1. Racing factions tracks can't be shared properly - Any racing faction have their own tracks that they use regularly. - Some well-known tracks also aren't there in the public list. - If one member creates a private track, only that one person can host it (if they're offline the whole faction cant use the script for this track) 2. It makes the racing scene less accessible. - Yes, we can still race without the script, but the script helps a lot with: * Learning tracks * Not having to memorize routes perfectly * bringing newer/less experienced racers into the scene making it more friendly for them. 3. Time trials & leaderboards are painful without the racing script - We run time trials and keep track leaderboards - Without the script, accurate timing becomes a whole workflow: * record the run * import the clip into Adobe premiere or whatever editing software * add the timestamps effect * adjust settings per clip Its super time-consuming and not something everyone can (or even have the energy) to do. The proposed solution: Add a "Faction Tracks" section In the menu we have Public and Private, lets add a third category. Faction Tracks When creating a private track (still 25.000$), allow the creator to publish the track in that faction tracks category If the track is set to Faction: - It becomes visible to all members for that faction. - Any faction member (or if you wanna work harder specific ranks/permissions) can host it. - Invitations still work the same as normal races. - Staff dont have to deal with approving it since its not public for everyone in the server! This creates a perfect middle-ground: - Staff keep their full control over what tracks they want public. - Factions can still organize proper racing nights without having to rely on one person being online. Thats all from my side if my lovely racers have any other ideas or suggestions feel free to drop them here.

Oh yeah bring back Tequi la la days where the poker tables used to be full every night, the script was simple and people actually had fun playing it, now the casino is just dead, people go in to play roulette or blackjack solo then leave.

Now I agree with some points that were mentioned in this thread, I would like to give my humble opinion on this, and without talking about Law Enforcement because yeah... people already know. I wanna mainly focus on crim RP because thats what I only play. I feel like back in the day, people were more invested in building their criminal factions, and actually RPing to its standards and building stories. There was a sense of identity beyond just "cook drugs, get loadout, push others that are cooking drugs and repeat..." There were many more ways to show dominance as a criminal faction other than "which gang wins more fights in labs". The change of only being able to cook in public labs has created more engagement indeed, which is good but it also created a hyper-competitive, loot-focused environment that kills organic RP before it starts. Now don't get me wrong, I personally am not against labs or PvP, they have their place and its an essential thing, at the end of the day we are all here to have fun and "escape reality". But when it becomes the only viable form of crim RP, we lose depth. We lose storytelling. We lose the essence of what made gang rp compelling in the first place. I also was asking some of my friends earlier, why are there no street gangs occupying Grove Street? Its crazy how the server only has one or two street gangs that are currently showing presence. And I think the reason for that is that the server is simply not beginner friendly, crim faction leaders simply don't want to recruit new players and why? Because they're simply broke and cant buy PvP kits to help fight in labs lol who would have guessed. And even if new players decided to start a street gang in grove street, they won't have the chance to survive a month on the server because they wouldn't be able to cook drugs and make money to be able to buy weapons to survive in the labs and as you can see we go back to the same loop! And thats why you see them quit, because its just so hard for them to survive. So many things need to be changed to fix that and its just so hard at this point, I feel like even the staff team don't know where to start from, and I totally understand and its just sad to see honestly.

-1, this suggestion sucks for crims and is good for legals -

Yeah you can partially resist, but the whole point of my post is that PD don't need to ask me in /do if they're able to do a certain action, because if I want to RP resisting it, I will RP it and we can continue from there.

Hey everyone, Just wanted to bring something up that's been bothering me since the day I joined the server — mainly during my interactions mainly with PD, but also DOC and even crims. It's the constant use of the almighty "/do able?" I’ve also heard from older members that back in the day people used to constantly use "/do s?", which honestly isn’t any better or worse than “able?”, and apparently staff had to step in and address it. So here we are again. Now I bet everyone reading this post has seen it, and it happens every single time. Whether I'm cuffed and surrounded, sitting in the back of a cruiser or even when I'm already inside DOC locked in with no where out, I still see them use "/do able?" and they actually wait for a response and jump in "/b" asking me to respond to it. It just doesn't make sense to use it in some situations but it feels like people are just programmed to use it. It comes off really robotic and makes police RP feel super repetitive after a while. Now I totally understand that they're trying to avoid PG and keep the RP fair with this, and I fully support that. Let's be real: if the person you’re searching actually thinks they have a legit way to resist or escape, they can still RP that anyway, even if you didn’t type /do able?. The scene would just continue from there, and both sides can respond accordingly. I'm not saying it should be removed completely, but maybe we can chill with it when someone is: - Already cuffed and surrounded by cops - Clearly outnumbered - Locked inside DOC or a cruiser Now there are ton of different scenarios, I obviously can't list them all. But people need to start using common sense and begin calculating their situations in whether they should use it or not instead of just throwing it out there every time to cover themselves. Would be great if staff could drop a short announcement or clarification on when it’s actually needed — like when someone might realistically resist (e.g., only one cop on scene, suspect unrestrained, etc.). Lets talk about it, if you have better suggestions feel free to write it down below, I think its time to have a better roleplay experience!

Improvements to the Del Perro Beach Vehicle Market
k0ma replied to nektan's topic in Game Suggestions
+1 In my opinion, I think the whole market deserves a rework, if they change it to a building where you get inside and you can talk to an NPC to either list a car, or open a UI where you can navigate through all the listed cars would be so much better than having to run around the cars and sometimes you have to jump the vehicles to be able to see the "check price" option. Its been the same for a long time now, and its getting a bit old, I also think it would also spare some FPS since you wouldn't have that many cars spawned at once, especially if you guys are just suggesting to expand it instead of doing something else. -
Hey there! I'm also someone who used to enjoy "Text based RP" back in the day in MTA and even in GTA5, but voice has its own vibe, it will be tough at the start but you'll eventually get used to it. You'll have so much fun.

I get that it might seem 'fair' for the OG crims, but I don't think there was an XP system for cooking? So how would they even track who spent how much time cooking? And if you're talking about the general XP you get just by playing, that would also reward people who maybe weren't really grinding — which feels a bit unfair. Honestly, I think starting everyone at 0 was fair and actually gave newer players more of a reason to give crim a shot. Plus, a lot of the players who were cooking nonstop are already stacked with cash, so I’m not sure they really need that extra head start.
