Assured Services - Reflection

On this day 1000 days ago 5 like minded entrepreneurs came together with a collective vision to found the states first conglomerate company. It was on this day that the first official document was created "Assured Security - Business Plan" which outlines the infant stages of the company and the first major business investment. The original funding for Assured Services amounted to at the time a staggering $8,200,000 and would help accelerate the foundation of what would become the most prosperous business in Los Santos.

Now comes the question - where do we go from here?

Assured Services has met its' fair share of adversity in the world of business. Foundations have crumbled and more often than they can count, the board of shareholders have had to gut their projects and start from scratch. The first two months were chaotic to say the least, with the departure of the C.E.O Jonny Black, C.F.O Dennis Good & C.O.O Tevin Atkinson the company was in Turmoil. However, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. After months upon months of strategy, graft and restructuring the company landed back on two-feet with Paulo Witherfork taking the helm as the new Chief Executive Officer, Chris Crawford as Chief Operations Officer, Blair Allison as Chief Financial Officer and finally James Hawkes as Chief Liason Officer.

The key shareholders of the board met at the CEO's home and began to lay the road for Assured's future. They would begin scouring the city of Los Santos and wider state for talent; hungry and driven individuals willing to put in work and start making sales. Assured Services' property, loans and gun market subsidiaries would start to advertise internships for people to learn the craft and take the organisation to the next level.

For those who had given their blood, sweat and tears to bringing Assured to where it was now, this move could not happen sooner.

dbc3kM0.png

The next year was full of prosperity and growth for Assured. Within 8 months of opening Paulo had acquired 5 multi-million dollar businesses that would lay the foundation of the company (Fully Cocked, LogoSource, Pacific Bluffs, Assured Property Management & Maze Bank West) These businesses would generate enough revenue to stabilize the company and provide enough excess income to continue the company's fast growth.

It's also important to recognize the relationships established in the first year. These organisations collaborated with Assured not knowing it's financial success down the line but due to the talented team and shared vision of what could be and it's for that exact reason that Burnout Nations, MotorSport & Shadow Corp will always have our support and respect.

VL6Taq7.png

2021 was another great year for Assured but didn't come without it's challenges. Most notable would be the foundation of the Chamber Of Commerce, during 2021 the state was met with its first major Business Crisis. As a result of new state legislation, Los Santos saw a substantial increase in fuel prices which was hitting low income citizens which infeasible bills. The responsibility of tackling this emergency fell to the economic powerhouses Assured & Shadow Corp. Thanks to the efforts of both organisations Los Santos saw the creation of the first civilian governed, state endorsed board of representatives and after relentless efforts we saw the government U-Turn on their ineffective policy.

Wednesday the 20th of January saw the unfortunate departure of Chris Crawford from Assured Services. Chris was the last remaining founding members of Assured alongside Paulo having dedicated countless hours to getting Assured to where it stands today as one of the biggest corporations in Los Santos. He was the true embodiment of our core values that we preach to all staff offering nothing but the best for the company. Although this was a major loss for the company, his position was swiftly filled by the James Hawkes who would continue to serve in the roll till the present day.

Despite the hardship that started off the year, January also saw the creation of Assured Events which would grow to become the company's most profitable and renowned subsidiary. Sokka and Emily Lazoo joined the company and assumed the position as Co-Events Coordinators where they'd have free-reign to host events for the state. In year one the branch would host 5 independent events and collaborate on an additional 2 which would see revenues of $5,400,000 for the company.

n8v1kBL.jpg

Staff are the fundamental backbone to any organisation, they're the individuals who keep the cogs turning and ensure the day-to-day running of each business. To get Assured to the point where it owned 9 individual subsidiaries would have simply been impossible for one man to achieve and although the team at Assured isn't the largest by any-means and has definitely seen some restructuring over the years I'm grateful to all those members past and present who have dedicated their time into getting the faction to it's current position. It's for that very reason, it becomes a vital responsibility of management to ensure staff are not only fairly compensated for their efforts but also to made to feel included and valued. When we became the first official faction on ECRP I felt indebted to all those members and compelled to reward staff with not only financial bonuses but also a day to remember.

dbbrgqX.jpg

Closing Statement - " This thread has perfectly en-captured the achievements of Assured over the last several years but also echoed my gratitude to all staff, associates, friends and faction handlers we've had the pleasure of working with. I'm immensely proud of what we've been able to accomplish with what started as a seed of innovation between 5 friends to one of the longest lasting, first of it's kind, civilian official faction.

It's due to the copious amount of time dedicated by the members that we've been able to lead the way in this alternative style of RolePlay and spark new means of interaction not yet seen by the community. We derive most gratification from our community events, which bring a refreshing break from the norm and allow all to interact regardless of character background.

Although Assured is proud to have been the first commercial based official faction, we know that we certainly won't be the last. Again I reiterate my appreciation to all the other factions who have collaborated and worked with Assured, all faction members who have directly contributed and built the faction and our handlers who have enabled us to venture into new roleplay opportunities.

Thanks, Paulo "

This morning I heard a notification on my phone. This notification was different to the norm however, it was a special jingle that I reserve for @Paulo's faction updates. I flung myself out of bed and sprinted towards by phone on the other side of the room. I unlocked my phone and slide my thumb over to the icon shortcut to the Assured services (tm) faction thread that I have on my home screen. Paulo's carefully written words popped into the screen. I scanned through the text and once I had finished it all I could was fall back down onto my bed. I felt light headed, and faint. The sheer emotion that @Paulo managed to portray through his carefully chosen, emotive words resounded in me a feeling that I had only felt once before while contemplated biblical art in Dublin's national art museum. It was at this point that I started balling my eyes out. I was very upset that I would not be able to behold such beauty until the next Assured faction thread. Bravo to you Mr Witherfork, I hope you never stop writing literature and I can only dream that you will one day write a book about your escapades. God speed,

Umbra.

P.S I'm sure @LeMonkwould enjoy this faction thread.

Future Establishment

Assured Services is in process of establishing a law firm; Assured Law. In connection with this new division Paulo Witherfork and James Hawkes met at the newly constructed City Hall that now includes the court house. On their arrival James and Paulo encountered Judith Mason.

SKJfqyC.jpeg

Judith Mason was also in visiting the new City Hall and therefore James and Paulo toke this opportunity to let her know about Assured Law. The moment they were all about to walk around to visit they noticed Matthew Burns and Jimmithy Jemima were also visiting and they joined them.

nhkTBRT.jpeg

Paulo got in a room that seem to be private meeting room and right away he mentioned how he needed this table at the Bluff Tower Office.

fEaQh8p.jpeg

While the visitation James talked to Samantha Tenbe and Johnny Bmore about the future of aviation commercialization with the new aviation administration. James has always been a helicopter enthusiast and has work with Air Support Division, he would love to bring this service to the public.

Eventually Paulo had to leave due to a meeting. James however stayed with Judge MasonMatthew and Jimmithy and went to visit the new Mall.

On the balcony of the mall James received a phone call from Sai Modi to discuss further about Assured Law. To discuss more about the subject James went back to the office. Sai seems to have a lot of interest in this new division therefore they set up a future meeting with Judge Daniels for specification on public law firms.

Chief Executive Officer  - Paulo Witherfork

"The day provided great insight for myself and James. Having the opportunity to speak to officials from both the Central Government and Courts was educational for us both and helped give some clarity on uncertainties. In the build up to establishing our law firm and aviation division we spent the day making our way around the newly refurbished city hall and Mall where we bumped into prominent individuals such as Judge Mason. Having the opportunity to talk to Assured Law candidates helped to reaffirm commitment towards creating Los Santos' leading law firm. We look forward to the coming weeks and month were we hope to maintain this momentum in expanding our range of subsidiaries."

Maze Bank West - Supporting Enterprise

Maze Bank West has always prided itself on being able to provide financial support to the masses while offering the lowest market interest rates. Through our past and present schemes which have enabled people to purchase properties through Assured Property Management at 5% interest to funding business proposals we have been able to invest vast quantities of capital into the pockets of our customers at competitive rates.

Last week was no exception, after an inquiry email was received from one of Paulo's old colleagues Maze Bank West once again set to work making their request possible. Due to the nature of the loan our client was unable to obtain the funds from other companies, fortunately Miles met all the criteria to make him a great candidate for the loan. After all the paperwork was signed and meetings were concluded Maze Bank Proceeded to allocate funds of $3,000,000 over into his account making this the largest single transaction in the companies history.

rGMps1c.jpg

A statement from our Client:

"Mr Witherfork,

This e-mail serves the purpose of feedback specifically for Maze Bank West. When all the doors were closed for me to purchase a business, Assured Services (Maze Bank West) Opened one for me. They offered me a loan of the exact amount I required without any hesitation. Their service was very rapid and simple. I personally would like to thank Mr Witherfork for his help during this hard time for me. I would recommend Assured Services to my Friends and family anytime, and day.  Thank you Assured Services!

From,

Miles Logan"

Assured Services - November Update

The last few weeks C.E.O Paulo Witherfork and C.L.O Marco Davis had endeavored on a small business excursion exploring possible avenues to diversify the company. Returning from their trip, there were a few jobs on the to-do-list that needed ticking off for the coming months. After assembling the motorcade they both spent the day tackling a few jobs.

After a detour to Paleto Lumber Mill we commissioned the assemblance of several Christmas trees to appear at our key locations ahead of the festivities with the center piece being visible at the company Head Quarters Bluff Tower.

To conclude the day Marco and Paulo thought it time to make some further progress towards their next Subsidiary... Assured Aviation. They spent the evening assembling two new Helipads at Pacific Bluffs where we're hoping to centralize the activity of the business and submitting the necessary paperwork. We look forward to the coming announcements from the aviation administration and the future of this exciting branch.

Pacific Bluff Helipad installation

As we enter 2023 we've started to get the ball rolling with a few of our new year company goals. Arguable one of our biggest is the foundation of a brand new subsidiary, Assured Aviation. Behind the scenes Paulo and James have been working away establishing business plans which outline the specific business operations of the branch. It comes as no surprise to hear that this new branch will come with high overheads & pre-launch cost as we set out to receive training, facilities and aircraft which is why the branch won't be launched until all areas have carefully been thought out.

hi4wV8F.jpg

Now that most of the bureaucracy has been handled with license applications and heli-pad registrations we've started with physical preparations. Over the course of the month we've seen Assured's first helipad be constructed and registered behind Pacific Bluffs country club! This marks a key milestone towards getting this exciting new subsidiary up and running.

Hawkes Through The Years

2023 marks James Hawkes 5th year in Los Santos and while going through old pictures he found a picture of his squadron while in the military and remembered how far he has come. Hawkes was born in Canada and mastered psychology, soon after he joined the military following his family’s path.

dbxeOXU.png

It wouldn’t be long that Hawkes left the military after questioning his career after a death in the family. He felt the need to leave Canada for Los Santos, a place he visited on vacation while he was young. Searching for the joy he once had when he was a child. After settling for an apartment he noticed a helicopter flying around the city which led him to join LSPD. Hawkes had always had a passion for aviation after his career in the military and therefore he focused his career in LSPD to become a pilot himself.

Eventually James was able to buy his first house in mirror park where he always wanted to live and made multiple friends along the way.

7Gopi6A.png

8RxCJnz.png

Having his own house James started to have interest in building his own company and notice that business in the city didn't have much branding thus creating LogoSource; a company focus on logo creation. Eventually he became partner with Arcadius Loan Company.

sausb90.png

Sd4edyW.png

This new company led him to many business owners however one stood out more than the others; a man with a company named Assured Services, Paulo Witherfork. At first he was to simply design this company’s branding but little did he know that Paulo Witherfork would become not only his partner but a good friend!

PqtMyeD.png

Paulo was not only a successful business owner but also a Sergeant in LSSD which led to James transferring to LSSD. Not only did James join LSSD to patrol his friend but also being part of a new department and helping on the newly developed division, the Sheriff’s Air Support Division.

After many acquisitions and plentiful of events Assured Services grew to become the biggest company in Los Santos therefore Paulo and James started to have their hands full which led to their retirement to focus on the business side of Los Santos.

Today James has joined the government after he was excited to see the city bringing aviation to the public since aviation has always been a passion of his. He believes the potential of this could be very beneficial to Assured Services. He therefore joined the Government in the Aviation Administration to help this new administration.

Funding Aviation

With the introduction of civil aviation into the state it's no surprise that many citizens are eager to be among the first to get their hands on a new aircraft. Unfortunately specialist vehicles in their nature are highly valuable pieces of machinery costing upwards of $5,000,000 to purchase a standard model. This unsurprisingly limits the availability of these aircraft to a handful of citizens. Two weeks ago Jeremy Williams, a friend and associate of Paulo's approached him with a loan request to help him acquire a new helicopter.

wL2DMME.jpg

It was Jeremy's wish that he could be in personal possession of an aircraft unfortunately he would need to acquire some additional funds to make it possible. After getting quotes from other loan companies of 20% +, it was looking like an infeasible prospect until Maze Bank West responded with an interest rate HALF of his competitors. Within the next 72 hours Jeremy had met up with Paulo and James and had acquired himself $3,700,000, the largest loan given out by Maze Bank West.

At Assured we ensure that all our subsidiaries operate to a standard en-keeping with our company values of offering a premium service to all while remaining affordable.

Customer Satisfaction

It's no secret that keeping customers happy is the key to a prosperous business which is why Assured was always founded on key principles that all our branches must adhere to. It's because of these values that we've firmly established a community reputation as the leading pioneers in the business for Los Santos. Although going the extra mile may sometimes incur extra costs, generating a rapport with clients while always benefit you down the line. Following our last loan, one customer Jeremy Williams submitted a letter to the C.E.O Paulo Witherfork expressing his gratitude with Maze Bank West and voicing his praise about the quality of service.

HSUxR4H.png

Consequential to his positive experience Jeremy then went on to recommend Maze Bank to his friends and colleagues in the LSSD. A few days after handing out the loan, Paulo met with Jeremy whom introduced his friend Milo Quinn. Like Jeremy, Milo was seeking a large loan to acquire an aircraft for his new aviation company. This has led to further discussions of establishing a potential partnership with Assured Aviation and primed Maze Bank West to give out another muli million dollar loan.

March Update

Over the month of March Assured Services has been undergoing some background work from building renovations to completing business plans for upcoming subsidiaries. We've devised a plan which aims to upgrade and 3 of our core buildings Bluff Tower, Pacific Bluffs and Maze Bank West.

Following a very busy month for Maze Bank West, having given out $6,450,000 during a 30 day space, it was the first to receive an upgrade. The building now features a completely new foyer, ground floor offices, secure loading garage & two high security vaults.

Additionally Pacific Bluffs was rented out for the first time to one of Paulo's old associates, George Hill for his private wedding function. George had outsources the planning of the event to a new entrepreneur Ellie Berrycloth. For the price of $100,000 Pacific Bluffs entire property was leased out for the whole day and prepped in advance for the wedding. On the 25th of March the dance floor was once again filled with guests armed with beverages.

Bad day for Business

Business is constantly filled with highs and lows and despite Assured's reputation we're no exception to that. Recently Paulo was approached by the C.E.O of Rockford Law looking to sell his company following concerns that personal relations would hinder the prosperity of his company. After a preliminary discussion Paulo expressed his interest in acquiring the firm and reported back to his Executives.

gnAzSh8.jpg

Paulo's enthusiasm over the acquisition was shared by the board and an offer was immediately sent over with a couple options for flexibility. For a deal which is a first of it's kind, Paulo presented an initial offer of $450,000 for the company which was accepted several days later. Immediately preparations were underway with contact being made with employees, business licensing & the Judicial Branch to ensure the legitimacy of the transfer. All that remained was a final discussion with the staff to formally introduce them to Assured and answer any concerns.

kE6OhaP.png

Days past and Paulo was left in the dark eagerly awaiting the availability of the staff. Unsure as to what had instigated the abrupt freeze in progress Paulo attempted to call the C.E.O and locate him around Los Santos. Finally after all preparations were made Paulo found an e-mail in his inbox U-Turning from the deal.

Although this wasn't what we wanted to see it's always important to respect the decision that individuals chose to make despite the ramifications. We wish Rockford Law the best with their future endeavors and business shall resume as normal at Assured.

Vinewood Magazine

Over the course of the week James & Paulo have been participating in talks with Oj Wood about bringing on Vinewood Magazine into the Assured Services Family. After a lengthy discussion the company is now officially recognised as our newest subsidiary! This new addition provides a plethora of opportunities for both company's and allows for one another to draw off each other unique advantages.

lJQ7JCy.jpg

Oj's enthusiasm makes him the perfect addition to Assured's management team with his passion for writing and innovation. During their discussions they've talked about multiple avenues in which they hope to expand & improve the magazine as-well-as the company as a whole. During his fruitful career in government, he has acquired valuable experience in this field as the Director for Public Relations while also establishing an extensive list of contacts for vacant positions in the company.

tBnMlq9.jpg

It's safe to say that Oj will fit into the company perfectly having already sparked a burst of elation into the C.E.O. We look forward to seeing all that Oj and Vinewood Magazine can offer!

Assured Law - Update

Following a turbulent few months for Assured Law we've made significant progress in the last week towards getting the firm operational. Through James' and Paulo's employment in the government they've both become acquainted with Andy Tyrie who is the deputy speaker on the Law Review Committee with Paulo and an instructor under James Hawkes in SAAA. This has allowed both executives to familiarize themselves with the exceptional quality of his work and establish a professional relationship.

ciDYyMk.jpg

Andy was already the existing C.E.O of a licensed law firm "24420 Law" which had yet to commence operations. After meeting with Andy both organisations appreciated the benefits that a merger would bring to both their company's and "24420 Law" was transferring to Assured Services and re-branded into "Assured Law".

3rqIUel.png

With our newly established law firm we can begin to build the foundations to what will hopefully become the state's leading law firm. Although Civil law is a fair way away we're in the unique position where we can internally fund the activities of our newest addition through various avenues such as contract creation for all our businesses and providing legal coverage for all subsidiaries and staff.

Progression Update

During the last month, Assured Services has made significant progress in getting itself back on the map having taken on two brand new subsidiaries, re-launching property management and establishing a new partnership with Infinity Enterprise thanks to the collective effort of the executives alongside their newly formed management team. Last Saturday they assembled around the board room to set forth a road map for the few months ahead.

M5oIqec.jpg

Assured Property Management

Real estate has always been at the beating heart of Assured with A.P.M being originally established back in 2020. Over the years we have sold 11 homes, 2 properties & rented out a total of 87 weeks to citizens in Los Santos. During the course of the 3 years we've seen significant growth and development having set the bar for cutting edge adverts thanks to our C.O.O James Hawkes and paving the way in high end property. Following the closure of Life Invader James has integrated our portfolio into our new website ahead of our re-launch.

4MfYG6t.jpg

Assured Law

Following the appointment of our new Legal Director Andy Tyrie we have set him hard to work building the foundations of our new law firm. Andy is currently reviewing our internal legal infrastructure and reformatting all our contracts to meet the current criteria set out by the Judicial Branch before establishing a staff team of his own. In the coming months we hope to roll-out the first of services offering contract formatting for other businesses and orgaisations in Los Santos.

Infinity Enterprise

Our C.L.O Marco Davis is embarking on an independent venture establishing an entertainment company offering a diverse range of services from videography to unique events. It was instantly recognised the mutual benefits each organisation could provide to each other and an official partnership has been formed. After viewing their new office and becoming acquainted with a few of their staff Paulo and Marco began discussions on plans for the future.

Assured Law - Update

Assured Law has once again come out from the ashes, proving themselves to the people of San Andreas wit their first case being a flat-out win on the case of "State of San Andreas v. Willow Haze" Some may see this win as less tan any other, but in the eyes of Assured Law, justice is justice, with the prosecution dropping all charges before activation, and the defendant being exonerated.

2146000810_Screenshot2023-07-23161435.png.9e0bf8bd496af0eb31cab0a228c229df.png

Assured Law is now taking strides in the area they have aimed at since day one: Contract Creation. For now, the focus is creating these contracts and getting the citizens and businesses all packed away in all manners of legal affairs. From general contracts to major mergers, all is being done. Assured Law has gone through the Public Notary to get several contracts approved for use, and this is a service we are now offering to the citizens and businesses of San Andreas.

1033617853_Screenshot(1432).thumb.png.3de36a01f726206182784fa6d6a3693b.png

With this experience, it adds one more block to the foundations of Assured Law in their preparation for the long-awaited Civil Court. This not only allows for contracts to be made but also for them to be properly enforced by people with experience and who can be trusted. This is where Assured Law steps in and shines out like no other. We have a well-set foundation with the expertise to follow it up. When the time comes, you can trust we will be ready.

M.B.W - Large Loans

Over the last year Maze Bank West has investing large amounts of capital into large sum loans. Since July the company has already dished out $12,700,000 to several individuals seeking the financial assistance Maze Bank West could provide. Being backed by a company as large as Assured Services has enabled to M.B.W to tap into capital incomparable with any other loan company in the state.

One such Happy Customer is long time friend of Paulo's, Jeremy Williams who loaned $3,700,000 at a highly competitive rate of 10% which he stated was far less than any other company in the state. We take strong pride in our customer satisfaction and worked closely with Jeremy throughout the loan repayment period to ensure he was making comfortable payments and allowing extensions to his loan period when unforeseen circumstances arrived. It's safe to say that he was more than happy with the service he received and we hope to offer our services again to him in the future!
