With the opening of Pacific Bluffs edging closer, Paulo was faced with the arduous of task procuring a huge quantity of beverages and snacks to feed the attendants. After consulting his staff team, Assured Services reached out to their long time associated Shadow Corporation and Shore Paradise. After a scheduled meeting with both business owner, Pacific Bluffs was able to acquire all the food and drinks necessary to make the evening a success.

RfT6De2.png

On the first night Paulo, James and Blair met with Stefanie Huth (Owner of Shore Paradise) armed with a fleet of vehicles. Stef acknowledged the magnitude of the operation in hand, and as an act of good faith purchased a mule to assist with the transportation at no extra cost. After hours of hard graft they managed to transport 5700 kilograms of produce to the club.

9rmDp8A.png

On the second day, Paulo with Xoza Shadow (CEO of Shadow Corporation) to resolve the second part of the invoice. While completing the money transaction, they were both confronted by a local fisherman wishing to sell his produce. After giving the man a lift to the local drop off, Xoza presented the idea to the individual of lending us an extra pair of hands. He gracefully accepted the offer, and they all visited one of the Corporation's associated stores in Chumash, loaded the stock and moved it down to the club. The helpful assistant was paid by Shadow Corp and Assured Services for his services.

A letter send off by Paulo to both businesses...

Returning to Roots

Following the unfortunate departure of his Estate Agent, Dashy Valentino, Paulo jumped back into his old role of marketing and negotiating with prospective buyers. Paulo me with MotorBike club president, Riley Connors, to discuss Riley's club and need for expansion. Until recently, the club had been operating out of a members apartment from within the city but with the addition of new members, a change was needed. Assured Property Management was able to show Riley around some select properties that had been hand-selected for Riley's needs. After several house meeting and discussions with the club members, we were able to find a new property for Reapers MC.

   Business Relationship

Following his previous visit to Premium Deluxe Motorsport, Assured Services launched several vehicle giveaways across the company subsidiaries. Given the success and feedback Paulo received from this first wave, he reinvested $500,000 into four sports cars: Obey 9F Cabrio, Rapid GT, Jester and Elergy Retro. Customers of Assured Services will have the opportunity to get their hands on this range of high end vehicles into the following month(s) through various channels.

Big thanks to James Eriksen at Premium Deluxe Motorsport!

   Assisting Entrepreneurship

Paulo's always been a firm believer in innovation and entrepreneurship, he's always willing to offer assistance for those who are wishing to establish themselves amidst the business community of Los Santos. One day, Paulo was approached by one of his clients, asking advise on how they should go about establishing their Event Organizing business. Paulo offered his peals of wisdom, helping to explain the core mechanics of business in Los Santos as well as the means to get established. Fortunately, due to Paulo's networking  he was able to provide contact details for a suitable business location, two sponsorships aswell as offering to facilitate their first Public event.

   Pacific Bluffs Grand Opening

Sunday the 17th of January saw the opening of Pacific Bluffs. Hundreds of people across the state swarmed the front car park to partake in the festivities of the evening. This opening was a significant milestone for Assured Services as it will help facilitate more community events as well as expanding our staff team.

For the grand opening, Pacific Bluffs went the extra mile to ensure all his guests had the highest quality entertainment for the evening. On center Stage we had Don Mozzerella blasting out tuned for the guest on the center dance floor and Sean Brunotte singing live for our VIP's. We believed it was vital that we achieve ultimate customer satisfaction which is why we gave away 307 bottle of alcohol for free to our esteemed guests.

The event allowed for guests to show off their unique outfits and interestingly choreographed dance routines.

Overall the event was a resounding success, from the excellent quality of Service to the great customer feedback everyone enjoyed their evening. All staff received a 100% bonus on their wages for their hard work throughout the evening. We look forward to hosting many more events in the future.

   Sponsorship

Over the previous months, Assured Services has been forging and building their relationship with Burnout Nation. Burnout is very close to home for several members of Assured who play an active role within the club. Today Paulo met up with founding member, Asbjorn Schmidt to discuss sponsorship opportunities. Burnout previously agreed to sponsor an upcoming car meet, proving a handsome sun of $75,000. After hearing about a drag race in the pipeline, Paulo was keen to return the gesture and offered the reward for a race category. In return, Asbjorn dashed back to the clubs apartment to retrieve the limited edition Coquette D10. Paulo was let loose behind the wheel, testing the vehicle's limits around the state of Los Santos, hitting speeds of up to 261 KpH. Both factions look forward to attending each others events and seeing what the future holds!

  Chamber Of Commerce
Shadow Corp and Assured Services are two very similar organisations, sharing their core beliefs for the free market and business conduct. In previous discussions between the two CEO's Xoza presents the idea of founding the states first Chamber of Commerce to connect the public and government together. This independent organisation will help improve communication, holding meetings, expressing concerns and opening a dialogue between those who make the decisions and those who are affected. When the concept was first presented by Xoza there wasn't enough demand for the Chamber and the idea wasn't taken any further. During the transition into the new year however, several changes in state policy have sparked concerns among business owners and Paulo reached back out to Xoza to re-ignite the idea.

i13nnqR.png

Xoza followed up on the meeting by founding the Chamber Of Commerce group on LifeInvader, allowing both CEO's to reach out to all their business contacts and invite them to the first meeting. An email was also sent off to the board of commissioners and the business licensing bureau at City hall in which a prompt response was given, endorsing the event and offering representation from the government. The committee will help voice the concerns of the people and offer support to those who need it.

Board of Executives
Wednesday the 20th of January saw the unfortunate departure of Chris Crawford from Assured Services. Chris was the last remaining founding members of Assured alongside Paulo having dedicated countless hours to getting Assured to where it stands today as one of the biggest corporations in Los Santos. He was the true embodiment of our core values that we preach to all staff offering nothing but the best for the company. Although it's with a heavy heart that we must wish him well with his future endeavors, his hard work and commitment will be remembered.

Following Chris' departure, the position of Chief Operations officer became available. It was Paulo's pleasure to offer this leadership role to James Hawkes. James previously server Assured as the Chief Liaison Officer for the company, offering his Canadian charm, leadership abilities and technical skills to help improve the company as a whole. James' work can be recognised across the board, from the Logo which represents the company to the staff which he has helped recruit. The position could not have gone to a more worthy candidate and Paulo looks forward to working with his new right-hand-man.

This however was not the only big change to take place, a new chair has joined the executive boardroom and we welcome the position of Chief Financial Officer to the table. With the company constantly expanding, there's a growing need for increased organisation and book-keeping. Again, this position was an easy decision to make for Paulo as he turned to Blair Allison to fill the position. Blair has been a loyal colleague and friend of Paulo for over a year, running the Maze Bank West Subsidiary. Although her primary focus is in finance, Blair can't resist offering assistance where ever it's needed from managing stock levels at Pacific Bluffs to buying staff uniforms. This not only demonstrated her skills in finance but also her undivided loyalty to the company. James and Paulo welcome Blair with open arms and look forward to her working closely with her.

Sokka and Emily Lazoo have been building up relationships with a businessman name Paulo Witherfork, it all started on a meeting about renting out a very nice home. Where it was a meeting of a biker club named The Reaper's. After some time Sokka Lazoo reached out to Paulo alongside with Emily and asked for his advice for their business idea of event organisation.
Sadly, this was not an easy task as many obstacles were in the way, Sokka and Emily applied for their registration, but it got denied due to them not owning a business address. After a short while Paulo reached out to Sokka and Emily asking for them to meet, only explaining that this could be something that could both be mutually beneficial to both parties. Their interest peaked they gladly met up with Paulo outside Maze's bank alongside with Blair, feeling slightly nervous at this meeting. They sat down at the boardroom table whilst Paulo rustled around some paperwork alongside Blair watching, Paulo then explained that he was opening an additional subsidiary of Assured. He then explained to both Sokka and Emily that he wanted them to be managers of this little adventure, to which of course they agreed happily.

Meeting with Paulo Witherfork

At this point they were thrilled and nervous with the idea that their dream of hosting events was coming true, but of course they did not rest on their laurels and set to work organizing meetings with DCC, Burnout Nation and of course Bayview mechanic's. Explaining that they were holding an event that they may be interested in.
Burnout Nation were very interested in this event idea and even offered a cash prize for the winners of the car show, Sokka and Emily asked if they would like to be a judge on the panel of the competition, along with a staff member of the DDC and Bayview mechanics.

The first public inquiry presented by the Chamber of Commerce.

The inquiry hosted multiple great questions and suggestions to the government.  Some questions were replied with precision while others were on a non-disclosure agreement or it being a board decision.  After almost 3 hours of discussion, Commissioner Langley joined us to conclude the inquiry. This inquiry showed a promising future regarding the cooperation and communication between business owners and the government.

  Assured Services - Uniting Business

After the combined work of Assured Services and Shadow Corporation, we were able to host the states first public Inquiry session. Once we overcame a technical issue we saw a large crown of curious individuals flood the auditorium of the Ex-Assured Services Head-office. These guests ranged from civilians to business owners all eager to present their ideas, voice concerns or just spectate the discussions. This was a monumental event, not only was it the first public Inquiry session but it allowed those who were unable to raise their concerns to have a voice.

MQjplSw.png

After hours of fruitful discussion the panel of representatives was joined by Commissioner Lewis Langley who helped to consolidate and bring the discussions to a close. Notes were collected by members of the business licensing bureau and will be reviewed in government meetings following the session. The Chamber Of Commerce will continue its efforts by offering support to those who need it as well as offering representation to all those in business. Over the following weeks we will maintain contact with city hall and schedule a follow up meeting to ensure that this progression continues. We look forwards to hosting more of these meetings in the future to improve the dialogue with city hall and help make improvements to the state!

   Workplace Culture

At Assured Services, we pride ourselves on our close-knit workplace culture. Paulo was pleasantly surprised one morning after receiving a text from his two newest employees, Emily and Sokka Lazoo. After meeting the two at the end of his driveway he was greeted by a patriot stretch limousine provided by DCC which took the trio up to top of Vinewood Hills. Once at the scenic destination they cracked into some beverages and reinforced their gratitude to Paulo and Assured Services for opportunity that was presented to them. This mutual respect is preached throughout the company, a healthy working environment helps to improve productivity among staff but more importantly keeps everyone motivated.

   Pacific Bluffs Car Show

This weekend saw Assured Services host its first car meet. This event was the first for newly appointed co-managers of our events division, Sokka and Emily Lazoo. After weeks of preparation and assistance from Executive Staff, they were able to make their vision a reality. Half an hour before the event started, the car park was already starting fill up and by the time the gates opened we were causing traffic jam both ways on the interstate. Before we knew it the car park for Pacific Bluffs was already exceeding it's 100 vehicle capacity! After hours of live music and bustling activity it was judging time. Paulo, Asbjorn Schmit, Alex Odison, Jay Endo and Steve Oconnor made their way around the car park inspecting the diverse range of vehicles. It was tough, but eventually they were able to narrow it down to the top Three vehicles.

Sokka and Emily took to the stage, and announced to three winners of the car show as well  as the winner for the Maxed Elergy Retro Custom. Congratulations to Lilymay for taking 1st prize with the beautiful soft top Castco, Harry Payne for his matte red FMJ and Phillipe Sanzhez for his gold chrome Zentorno and questionable outfit. We look forward to hosting plenty more future events!

   Assured State of Mind

With a key eye for business, Paulo Witherfork has over 15 years management experience. Paulo has successfully nurtured and grown his own corporation from a small business into a plethora of flourishing companies with rising shares in the market. In 2019, Paulo became a co-founder of Assured Security, which aimed at providing high security to the citizens of Los Santos. After a prosperous beginning, Paulo furthered his capital investment and began to diversify the company. Through his leadership and vision, Paulo has propelled Assured to become one of the top business corporations in Los Santos.

Paulo graduated with a Bachelor of Criminal Psychology  from the University of East Anglia in 1998. After moving to Los Santos he spend one year working with the Los Santos Emergency Medial Department, achieving the rank of Medical Director before pursuing his career in Law Enforcement. During his time in the force, he was able to make the rank of Sergeant II, Assisting Commanding Officer of SWAT, Vespucci Watch Commander, Field Agent of DPB and head of Surveillance. Following his resignation from the Sheriffs Department in 2020, he devoted all his time to overseeing Assured Services.

2020 - 2021 saw the greatest growth for the company. Under his guidance, profits were increased by 35% and three new subsidiaries were opened, Pacific Bluffs, Fully Cocked and Assured Property Management. He created Assured originally as a security agency, but eventually build an entire company offering a diverse range of services at the highest quality.

In additional to his role as CEO, Paulo is also heavily invoved in his community. As part of Assured Services business ethics, Paulo dedicated a portion of his time every month to encouraging entrepreneurship and improving commerce in Los Santos at his own expense. He collaborated with Shadow Corporation to found the states first Chamber of Commerce. This organisation aims at improving the dialogue between the people of Los Santos and city Leaders. This was a monumental event, not only was it the first public Inquiry session but it allowed those who were unable to raise their concerns to have a voice. Additionally, he also lectures at various events, giving speeches on topics such as the importance of financial management as well as entrepreneurial tips. Although it's a tough job managing such a large company Paulo can rely on his trusted team of executives and managers to continue Assured Services augmentation.

   Community Interaction

Assured Services prides itself on its community integration. Not only do we like to support community events and businesses but we always do our best to attend events and get involved. Over the last few months, Assured Services and Burnout Nation have been continuously meeting and offering mutual support for each others events. Paulo, being a fan of motorsport, recently jumped at the opportunity to sponsor a drag race. He contributed $75,000 to the winner of one of the categories, as well as tested his nerve behind the wheel of his Lampagati Casco in the sports classic category.

FGroCt7.png

After an exhilarating head-to-head with a fellow Casco enthusiast, Paulo found himself in the final going up against a Mamba. Thanks to the Casco light and nimble performance it was able to get the head-start it needed to take first place! It was an extremely successful event which we were more then happy to have helped!

Following the event, Paulo had several business meetings to attend across the state. After a scenic cruise through the newly emerged undergrowth Paulo was able to meet with one of his tenants.

EoiPKvr.png

To conclude the day, Paulo drove up to "The Lot" and met up with the Burnout Nation team after the event, to discuss upcoming events. Paulo had previously discussed a join staff event with Assured and Burnout to formally introduce the two teams which had been working so closely. This idea was then re-ignited by Don Mozzarella who proposed a BBQ at one of their residence followed by some fun-team building exercises. Paulo stenciled this date into his calendar and returned back to his home to rest following his busy day.

Assured Services looks forward to the future to see how it can help its continuous contributions to the community!

   Getting around town

At Assured Services we firmly believe that keeping up-to-date is essential to success. All our employees are encouraged to attend events, meet with new people and explore new opportunities. Recently Paulo attended the swearing in of the judges at the cities newly renovated Court House. Law has always been close to home for Paulo and the majority of his employees who have served in the Emergency Services, it's also becoming increasingly relevant as we see more and more bureaucracy surrounding commerce in Los Santos.

Paulo was the first member of the public to enter the court house having waited for the doors to open. During the ceremony, Paulo looked and listened carefully as each of the four judges were sworn in. Following the swearing, the floor was opened up to public questioning and a plethora of members from the audience contributed to the fruitful discussion about what the new department is going to mean for the City. This not only allowed Paulo to get-to-grips early on what's to come, but also start planning for future business endeavors. Paulo has already set some plans in motion regarding his personal career with the department, but is also going to schedule a follow up meeting with his executives to see what opportunities lie in wait for Assured.
