You are absolutely right, stores do offer more options but also require more investment into stock while in Gas Stations there is really only one type of product. You are also right by saying that stores have gone for less and in my opinion, each owner is free to place whatever value they desire on their business/property. This isn't really an auction but more an opportunity for interested people to place an offer for my Gas Station. If the offer is interesting enough I might sell. I must say that it would not be my preferred method of sale. However with that being said, you have my email so feel free to send me an offer. Please keep in mind that if the offer is, as you say, over several payments it would have to be of an interesting total value.
