mongolloyd
This should be stated with the server reset message. Basically NCZ anything that hasn't already started. We just had guys rolling through Paleto as we're trying to get ready to log out. Shooting, killing, and robbing then logged. It's out of hand. Especially considering we had groups of people around the block that would be responding but they're doing the same thing, getting ready for the server restart. Xoza
Server restart messages can be planned between 5-30 minutes. How many minutes would you say? If a rule break happened and they didn't have a good IC reason to do what they did, it should definitely be reported.
mongolloyd
5-10 minutes? For instance, we had a fifteen minute warning. We're in the middle of a build project. So we're scrambling to store building material so it's not deleted. Everyone is getting cars put up and basically doing things that we probably wouldn't be scrambling to do otherwise in character. Then you have people running around using Fear RP to instant rob, kill, etc. Then instant log... I just think adding NCZ to the final 5-10 minutes couldn't hurt a thing. TreMetal
+1. It's pretty shitty RPly and OOCly to rob someone right at a server restart. 15 minutes just like combat logging rules should apply.
CaesarSeizure
+1 i think people should avoid going into RP situations for those 15minutes, it is very much the same as combat logging as there is no guarantee that the person will be back the moment the server is back up. Most people probably take a break as sometimes the server can be down a bit after a restart. Additionally, if you would want to call the cops etc, IDs would change, or the people would be gone. Additionally, you putting people into forceful RP situations also limit their ability to log out and avoid item loss.
BallinByNature
Players are in-character at all times, however, this can be reported if someone is abusing starting a situation after a restart message has been given and it is done unfairly. Thanks for the suggestion.
