Cowell - Additions to the fleet

 

After handing out a handful of loans and a lot of hard work, Cowell decided it was time to upgrade his fleet of vehicles.

Due to being a good business partner and a friend of Xoza, it was a no brainer to get the vehicle from Atomic. Cowell contacted Xoza to ask at what price the vehicle could be bought for.

Cowell ordered the V-STR from Atomic and picked it up after it had arrived there. After that he had it resprayed to match up the corporation color of dark grey. This way there would be a consistency across all his vehicles and he could represent Shadow Corp. with all of his vehicles.

Shadow - Construction & Growth

Ever since the expansion of the company, a whole lot has been going on. Primarily with the acquisition of a corporate headquarters, construction has been a full focus.

The importance of a centralized office location, is just as important as the business and work that would be done inside of it.

The layout and design needs to be open, welcome and comfortable, but fitting and professional.

As the construction continues, the corporation also has grown internally. Many business minded individuals have taken an increased interest in what the Shadow Corporation does and have begun to fill positions and offices to bring professional business to the city.

Shadow - Updates

Here's a bit of what's going on around the office and in town.

With the new office, the Valkyrie was chosen to be sold and another property is ready to sell. Another club was foreclosed due to payment failures and is looking for a new owner! We're often out looking for great properties and homes to offer new and potential owners.

The media department assisted and organized with Burnout Nation and our client in hosting an an amazing car show, open for everyone.

The office is still undergoing construction, but in its final stages. With all the great work many of our employees have put in, we're soon to open to the public. We've already had several visitors.

During an associates 'Birthday Bash', Atomic Auto donated a car to the party in recognition of the positive work they and their friends do in the city!

Atomic sold it's 4000th car under the Shadow Corporation and helped a new owner get a car they wanted by offering to make it a unique, one of a kind 'Atomic' vehicle with maximum performance and design at no extra cost.

Dyer - A Step into Media Relations

 

Jose Dyer... a man who was introduced into the company almost two months ago but has stayed more under the radar helping Xoza out with the company. Formerly introduced to the company by a now old employee who is no longer with the company. Jose still has plenty to thank for to be able to get this meeting with the company. Starting off with the meeting, Jose briefly talked with Xoza about his intentions with the company, as well as figuring out why he wanted to join the company.

 

 

During his time in the shadows he's had time to learn a lot in terms of what ShadowCorp had as a game plan for the future and what they really wanted to do with the company. Plenty of talks with Xoza and figuring the ins and outs of all of these departments gave him a good insight of Xoza's goal and how Jose could put his skillset towards the company to help push the company to its best ability.

 

 

First task Jose encountered under ShadowCorp was assisting with Bailey Snow and his Car Show that ShadowCorp sponsored. He was the first person under ShadowCorp to arrive at the area, and while being new under the company he had to introduce himself to the crowd and let them know that he'd be here to help with anything necessary throughout the event, starting off by talking with Clara from Weazel to help assist with getting the event Blipped and making sure Ads are rolling for people to be aware of the event.

 

 

The event was super smooth and a huge success, bringing together a lot of people around the city for a great time to show off their custom rides. You really get to see how someone can make a car unique to them. While assisting with taking photos, Jose also assisted with people getting Raffle Tickets for a giveaway of a Maxed 190z, courtesy of Bailey Snow himself.

 

 

After this event it was time for Jose to search more of what Xoza had planned for a roadmap. At this time they had acquired our new office that they would take in clients for discussion, or just to have as a lounge area. Having this new location would require for great construction as well as plenty of furnishing.

 

 

During construction Jose really didn't document much as he was busy with other things as well. Shortly after construction was started, he was introduced to selling cars through Atomic so he slightly had focus over there seeing if he could grab potential clients who were interested in getting into a new vehicle and making sure they got the best deal they could. He was able to acquire a couple sales but didn't focus on it for too long as he needed to get to helping Xoza with the office.

 

 

Furthermore construction does go on and the company starts to get the place looking more welcoming and lively rather than looking like an empty huge space of echoes. Getting the receptionist desk, a lounge area, a kitchen, as well as starting on the night club area.

 

 

Lets fast forward to now within these past weeks. They've pretty much finalized up on construction. Allowing the office to prepare for its grand opening, as well as sponsoring an event for Asbo for his Birthday. With the office fully opening Jose can shift focus more towards Media/Entertainment. Getting proper flyers for houses they have listed, more ads to setup on LifeInvader, as well as seeking for new members to recruit under his belt with Media Relations. It's been a good journey of learning everything within the company and Jose is excited to see where the roadmap takes them as they go for Grand Opening.

Larry Braverman - A Fresh Start

Larry Braverman was down on his luck.  He moved to Los Santos after a tragedy tore apart his former life and left him the shell of a man. Larry lost his family, his career, and his happiness. A fresh start was the only path he saw forward so that is what he did.  He arrived in sunny Los Santos, looked out at the endless ocean and thought life was finally going to cut him a break.  Little did he know, Los Santos can be a dark and ruthless city.  Larry was haunted by the tragedies and ghosts of his former life.  He fell in with a bad crowd and was doing anything to survive and ease the pain.

One day, Larry came to a realization that the man he had become was a dishonor to his fallen wife and daughter.  Larry vowed to turn his life around and to honor their memories by becoming a better man.  He scraped together the little money he had and started a small trucking company transporting and mining ore, oil, and picking up the odd contract whenever he could.  

During this time Larry met a man looking to have some petrol delivered to one of his businesses.  The man introduced himself as Xoza Shadow and said the job came with a slightly unusual request.  Intrigued, Larry got into Xoza’s car and they headed to the truck depot.  Xoza explained that he wanted the petrol delivered to Xenergy, a gas station owned by Shadow Corporation, and more importantly wanted the trip timed.  Larry thought the request a bit odd but took out his phone and pulled up the stopwatch app. After filling up the truck, driving to Xenergy, unloading the truck, and driving back to the station Larry tapped "Stop" on the app.  Xoza explained that he wanted the information to calculate a fair wage to pay the drivers working for him and offered Larry a ride home.  The two exchanged phone numbers on the way to his apartment and Larry began doing odd jobs for Xoza here and there.

A  couple months later Xoza offered Larry an official position in the company.  Larry felt like his luck was finally turning around.  He accepted the position and began putting his time and capital into learning the real estate market.  Larry enjoyed remodeling homes and flipping them for a profit in his spare time.  His decorating skill came in handy as Xoza announced the purchase of an office and the need to redesign the interior.  Larry enjoyed working with Xoza, they bounced design ideas off one another and created a beautiful lounge in the office space.  Larry was confident he could put these skills to use to redecorate and flip houses with Xoza’s business expertise.  At last, Larry felt a sense of purpose again.  So Larry took a deep breath… and got to work.

MAKING DREAMS BECOME A REALITY

Ezekial Diablo has always been involved with Xoza Shadow when it comes to the business aspect so when the idea of Shadow Corporation being a full blown company, Xoza offered him a position. Without hesitation Ezekial became the Supervisor for Public Relations and Events. However, over time Ezekial has begun using his knowledge to help in all aspects of the company ranging from advertising to events to real estate to even public relations. If it helps the company and helps the citizens of Los Santos, Ezekial wants to be involved to see it through.

Lately things have been slow within Shadow Corporation due to a recent power issue at the power company causing the grand opening of Shadow Corporation HQ to be delayed by roughly 2 or 3 weeks, but, dreams don't magically pause. Citizens still have dreams and Shadow Corporation is still helping them even without their HQ being open.



Recently Ezekial was contacted by Xoza and Larry regarding a property near Central MD. It had potential but currently was in a bad state. All 3 of them with the help of Sophie Nightingale managed to pick up the house and renovate it to stand out in the neighborhood. The house went from being a 2G garage to having a 2G garage with 9 parking spaces outside all locked behind lock and key. The house hit the market for a few days before a co-worker of Ezekial's at LSEMS mention needing a loan for an apartment. Ezekial offered them the loan but also mentioned the newly renovated house. Malik was very interested and decided to take a look. After everyone meeting up and discussing the house, the rent to own contract, and other general thing... Shadow Corporation and Malik came to an agreement. Malik now had himself a new home he wouldn't need to pay off immediately and Shadow Corporation had another satisfied citizens of Los Santos.

After this Ezekial received a call from a co-worker, Ted Lawson, regarding a gentlemen named Dirk at LSC wanting to purchase an Elegy Retro Custom from Atomic due to Atomic gave LSC employees a discount. Ezekial referred Ted and Dirk to xoza, but, sadly neither men were able to reach him. Wanting to make sure Dirk was taken care of, Ezekial figured out the discounted price on the Elegy Retro Custom and told Dirk the price. Dirk told Ezekial he had the money on hand to purchase it but couldn't get in contact with Xoza, so Ezekial did the next best thing. He told Dirk to give him the money and that he would purchase the car for him. Dirk agreed to do it and handed Ezekial the money. Shortly after Ezekial delivered a brand new Elegy Retro Custom to Dirk who at that moment could not stop thanking him. Ezekial went on to inform Ted and Dirk if they had any other people wishing to get vehicles to email him or Xoza regarding it, that they would get to it as fast possible. At this moment, it wasn't about the money for Ezekial, seeing Dirks smile about finally have his dream car, was plenty for him.

As time went on more and more properties began to hit the market and an employee within Shadow Corporation began to finally look for a house of his own due to his situation changing for the better. Ezekial was no longer surviving on his own but now had a significant other to share moments with. His dream was to finally stop living in apartments and get a house. However, the house he wanted was currently outside of his reach. A recent 4G mansion style house had hit the market and many citizens were looking to buy it. Ezekial began to send emails and texts out ot his friends along with the help of Larry. Within 5 hours they managed to go from having $200,000 towards the house to $3,000,000. They were on the home stretch but hit a massive roadblock for 2 hours. They had no where to go or anyone to ask, everyone was sleeping. Ezekial began emailing Shadow Corporation executives but got no response. He emailed Xoza and Detective Willowick, hoping they could help. Willowick came into town and helped Ezekial get the last of the money and the house was purchased however at the cost of his new house being put as collateral. Ezekial was trying to avoid that and emailed Xoza telling him that, Xoza said I will be in town later and we can talk.

Hours went by before Ezekial met up with Xoza and they began to talk about why this house was so important and why he was willing to owe so much for just a simple house. Ezekial had realized during a conversation with his significant other that he needed to stop living a bachelor life and begin living like he was with someone. His significant other made a comment regarding the long haul type relationship and Ezekial agreed with it. Ezekial explained all this to Xoza and within seconds a phone call was made. Xoza was going to make a dream come true and settle the debt with Willowick so that the house was in Ezekial and his significant others names along with an extended period to pay off the money owed. 

Shortly after they parted ways and Ezekial began making renovations to the house. Renovating the backyard, the interior, the driveway, everything needed to be redon to their liking. After it was all said and done Ezekial and Carly, his significant other, decided to throw a party. They invited friends from everywhere including LSC, Bayview, LSEMS, Shadow Corporation, and others. The party went for hours and they even were given gifts as House Warming Presents... something they didnt even think of.

Shadow Corporation successfully helped another citizen reach their dream. Even though this one citizen was an employee, the others who benefited from it were not. By the end of the night, Ezekial and everyone involved in this house warming party were satisfied and some asked questions on how he was able to do it. Ezekial began to inform them of what Shadow Corporation did and how they manage to do it all the time. The party quickly after moved locations to the pier where more fun was had with the citizens of Los Santos.

Shadow - Chamber of Commerce Meet Again

Business continues, but grows stagnant. Luckily much of the Shadow Corporation maintains levels of personal management with routine and business management automation and practices. But there is still so much to explore, to expand and many with the passion to do so. What shall we do with so little support to do it? Will citizens have the time and resources it takes, or care enough just to get something started?

Our negotiations and attempts to reach out to the the government, after the first Chamber of Commerce meeting went unanswered. The government continues regulations and changes, without companies or citizens input. Assured Services proposed to again open another Chamber of Commerce meeting where we could bring up issues, even more recent, express concerns and attempt to strike up a conversation again and actively work on solutions. The lack of support and a free market and the high costs have oppressed businesses and growth potential for too long, and it's time again to bring these to the leaders of the city.

The Chamber of Commerce is a private entity, a collaboration of business owners and entrepreneurs who have, or want to start and grow business in the state. It's speakers, Paulo Witherfork and Xoza Shadow stand at the head to represent and drive progress and discussion with the state, that holds, often too much oversight in the lives of our citizens. Many concerns were brought up, and many great ideas, including this. The government listened to each thought also many were great ideas and agreed there were areas that could see improvement, but discussed that , much could go unanswered for months with no progress like in the past. Has the government turned over a new leaf lately?

According to there representatives, there are great new things coming, and some not so great, but manpower has always been an issue. Many sitting in that very room, speaking their concerns were willing to lend a hand, to see success not only in business, but in government tasks and routines as well.

Will the government support business, will businesses grow? Or will both continue to remain stagnant?

Shadow - New Opportunities

With businesses growing and properties opening up, Xoza has seen some civil issues through his work in the department and starts a new project to help out.

The Shadow Corporation main focus has always been business and consulting, with a few extra activities. In the line of business and property management though, there's always been overlooked services for both commercial and residential properties; Surveying and Inspections.

With ownership comes responsibility and Xoza looks to help others realize the potential for growth and understanding, both inside and outside property. From safety to codes, ensuring construction is solid, effortless and legal.

In the last few weeks, Xoza has taken on a renewed look and focus on the Atomic dealership. Introduction of new projects and people, from brand recognition, community outreach, contractual obligations, and growing our newest racing team.

With great work with great people, Atomic glows brightly. Taking 2nd place in a Formula 1 race over the weekend and the deployment of one of many new planned commercial advertisements.
