astrx Posted yesterday at 09:40 PM Report Posted yesterday at 09:40 PM To start, I like the idea of the new change regarding armour, it stops LEO players from spamming uniforms for armour. Now, the issue is that uniforms are not able to be used when a player's game crashes, when specialized divisions need to change their uniform for operations, etc. My suggestion is to allow the uniforms to be used as they used to be, though, implement another tab for Armour, this would be a separate tab in the menu underneath 'Uniforms', this armour would be able to be locked behind group and branch divisions in the manage menu like the uniforms so the correct armour stats are locked to the proper divisions. There would be a list of; 25 armour, 50 armour, 75 armour, 100 armour, and 150 armour which can be applied to your person. SWAT and DB divisions would have access to the 150 AP, as they do now, locking it from the rest of the department. The rest of general staff would be able to access the other armour stats with the correct permission applied. Armour can then be applied to specific uniform armour items, so all of the different types of armour can be used. With the armour being applied, it would automatically apply the correct Armour Uniform Item that has been matched to it. Then the replenish armour tab would still be a thing and stop a player for 10 seconds before reapplying it. 1 Quote
Timmy2x Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago Huge +1 I'd rather not come back from a c0 during a shootout and have to shoot in my street clothes  Quote
theflyingfuck Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago  +1 i c0ed about 3 times today. each time left me needing to run back to MRPD to properly clock back on. at one point i genuinely thought "yea im just not playing PD until this is updated." very frustrating to anyone that is c0ing during important events. Pazz Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Or, alternatively, just leave the armor resupply option there as is (good addition), reinstate uniform changing from vehicles, and apply a blanket action timer of 10 seconds to all uniform swaps, since the 10-second action timer for armor plate resupplying seems to be the focal point of the adjustment. Eliza Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I think not being able to change uniforms if your game crashes is unintentional.  If it is intentional I think that’s a bit much of an overcorrection Quote
