Desperate need of staff taking in game reports.

DISCLAIMER: This is in no way meant to attack staff, im aware they try their best and some of them do go above and beyond. This is a general suggestion.

 

A HUGE problom I have noticed is that staff dont seem to want to respond to in game reports. This can be infuriating for many reasons. For example, I was evading cops and went to swim across the canal to the other side after ditching my car. I experinced a glitch where I instantly got downed when going in the water. I made a report and so did some of my freinds. No one responded. The intresting part of this, when I spawned in the hospital I saw admins actively roleplaying. This goes beyond bugs but also for rulebreaks and often leads it to week long forum reports. 

 

I know what im about to say may not go over well with staff, and if I do hurt anyone feelings I apologize.

 

But its to the point where admins just seem to play for the roleplay and perks and not actually help people who need it. I can only think of a very few amount of admins who actually take reports and put it above roleplay. And to the proof of this, ive seen multiple admins repairing their cars with /commands, and using their commands for personal gains or using their admin status only when it benefits them in that situation.

 

This also leads me to my next point one that has been proven and tested, admins put legals over crims. Ive have been on both sides and find that admins respond almost instantly when I do a report as on duty for DOC or etc. On crim it gets left. Ive seen this happen in action to. Ill have an active report open and a cop makes a report and a admin is there instantly while my report goes unnoticed. Sometimes I have to PM an admin just for a response.

 

This is extremely aggravating and makes it seem like no one cares. The lack of care some admins seem to exhibit really makes it hard to want to play. In my opinion the community should come before RP. Admins should be ready to put the hostage situation aside and hand it iff to someone else and respond to reports that need attention.

i think we as a player base, we could do all kinds of little tasks maybe ? imagine there is 50 people doing mini tasks

not sure why this is the case,  but based on multiple gameplay on different RP servers, staff team and administration tends to be on LEGAL side , aka LEO and factions related to POLICE.
i've seen multiple LEO in this server that gets their report accepted instantly, while crims report takes longer, add on that the bias judgement to their side, like for example : Once, i tried to rob a place, so i destroyed the cam RP'ly and destroyed the hardrives, but later when cops come, they forced on reviewing the cam even there was an /FDO on it, and used server scripts to revieew footage, and admin told me to destroy it based on server scripts and not RP.
later once again, there was no script cams arround, only ones on the map, so i didn't care about them, and started robbing the place, later a cop shows up, and RP'ed that those cams are working, after i called for admin assist , they supervise the RP than server script.
is crim RP an IC or OOC problem???

As an LEO main, my reports do not get accepted instantly and often go to the forums. Especially due to conflict of interest. Please stop spreading misinformation.

Have you ever considered publishing short stories?
You have such a wild imagination and grasp of creating these incredible narratives, you could be the next George R.R. Martin.

There comes a point where the staff team should respond to posts like this and restrict your access to view only, so you can only watch and read on as these conversations flow normally, instead of trying to insert some anti-law enforcement rhetoric into them.

I'm all for free speech but jesus christ man, you'd give an aspirin a headache with this shit.

Frankly, it's beyond tiresome and boring.

Solution: All rulebreaker reports go to forums! 

 

Think about it, is your .50 really worth writing up an entire report? No? alright lets move on with our day!

 

In game reports should be for questions, glitch reports, and general bug issues. 

Everyone immediately does /report 4 I WAS DMD!!! Then its "sorry no footage" after someone takes time out of their day! Obviously in some aspects things CAN be handled in game, but my belief is that DM/MG/NRP/Cheating reports should all go to forums. Bigger things like a mass DM happening, a dude thats sitting there screaming the N word at people drunk off their ass, absolutely that can and should be handled immediately.

i barrely have time to play games, am not going through OOC websites and updaload and edit just because i don't like the other person behavior that hurts my gameplay, i belive that this server rules are kinda wide open and gave admins to take decisions based on the case, which is not great and it can create a gap of unfairness and biased under the judgement

maybe do it when you are an admin, i already got banned from discord for saying (i kinda liked this update, imma max my werrner to save 60k than maxing my lacareuse for 1.5M) so  yea i won't be surprised if i got also banned from here to.

Dude people  getting bored sometimes , For me i think Bugs is the most important reports, others reports can be handle on fourms that why they made it

This is a major issue. What's the point of having rules if there's no one to enforce them in real-time? It makes players feel like reports just go into a void. The server needs more active, visible staff during prime time, period.

Even bug reports ive been stuck in other dimesons taking forever. I dont even be asked making a report knowing 9/10 times not gonna be accepted and dont wanna wait a week on forums when Ima forget it the next day.
Not trying to shit on any staff, but theres been certain times ive lost out on major rewards possibly do to rule breaks and no response. Just my personal experience
