Underground Entertainment Idea

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hello, this has been something myself, Anthony Gray and Frank Knight have wanted to do. We feel Criminal RP, especially at night, can be boring. The only thing for criminals is shootouts and cooking and robbing banks, but there isn't like a key thing criminals can do, like parties and events that cops have a chance of busting an event. I don know the last time someone was charged with street racing or some random charge on the penal code. Even in the daytime when the server is popping, it can be boring. I hosted an illegal fight club, and it brought so many people to BurgersHot tonight, and it was a blast.

So with that, Frank and I want to open an underground Entertainment where criminals find out about special events like boxing, racing, drunk BMXing, and illegal things and hopefully get help from the cartel to get special items to boost the criminal RP experience.

All me and Frank want to know if criminals would do this stuff and participate and possible cash prizes if we did these and if there are suggestions on what we could host I am open to it but please give any feedback cause me and Frank are trying to boost the criminal RP community and make it fun again.

+1 this promotes quality roleplay however with weazel being the best and most reliable option of promoting such events, the problem is IC legality

would love to hear some suggestions on how to promote and organize these events

ideas are appreciated!! we want things that are out of the norm illegal raves, "silenced paintball" events, Mazes, find ME's, impromptu races, and challenges. remember any of these events are liable to be shut down at anytime by PD so they will need to be things that aren't toooooo explosive but still give something different to the community.  we want to have a close partnership with MD to encourage more people to join their faction and be helping hand in this if possible. recently, i have personally have seen many post about QOL and i think this is something that can make people a lot more happy with events as a change. no one talks about how many people are at events just for the raffle. i would like to change that train of thought an have people come through not only for the raffle but for the unique experience and RP that could follow from it. (envious rivals, cheaters who use drugs for the fights, people who talked shit to the wrong person

promotions would be entirely on us. i think we would have to approach this through graffiti and text messages but this is the reason why we posted this. any ideas on how to better ourselves would be greatly appreciated. The goal is to keep this completely illegal. We want everyone to be able to particpate and gain prizes. even things like taser and what not to have fun with. cartel willing

Honestly I fucking love this idea.

its RP focussed, it feels really dystopian which is awesome and you’d have police trying to shut down the illegal events or trying to join gangs/get CIs to FIND the next event.

You could make it like the illegal racing where we all found out via text through our leaders.

i love the idea of winning weapons or chop parts or having friendly gang v gang activities which didn’t focus on pvp all the time.

The current state of crim rp is so hostile and non-rp based, this would be great, especially with the new knockout and blackmarket doctor feature, allowing for actual positive RP. Big +1

What would you need from staff that you don't already have? Ironically named, Underground hosted a couple fight clubs where the prizes were things like heavy weaponry or cash. We had a lot of fun doing it.

Is this suggestion post simply to poll the community of whether its worthwhile hosting more of these events? I don't see anything stopping players from hosting events or organizing this RP currently.
