Gear 6 seems to be perfect as it will go 240. Once hitting gears 7-9 it will slowly decline from 240 to 200-210 and not gain anything above 215. Expected behavior: The car should still gain speed once hitting gears 7-9 not drop from 240 to 200-210 Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Just hit east highway with the car fully maxed. Once you hit 6th it will be going 240. Now when it hits gears 7-9 it slowly will drop from 240 to 200-210 depending on bumps. Bala Posted December 23, 2024 Report Posted December 23, 2024 Issues with the downshift can happen if the vehicle has over 8 gears. It's been a bug in GTA for a minute. Not saying it's the same thing as this but it's possible.

POV will be uploaded tmr as it is 6:30am Vehicle license plate number*: N/A as it involves all Itali RSX's From my own experience, the Itali RSX will reach higher speeds in the city (up to 240), but have less speed on the highway due to how GTA V physics work, essentially, the car is reliant on "curb boosting" and FPS. This means that it will gain more speed on uneven terrain the more FPS you have. I was not able to reach the 9th gear myself probably due to the 240 speed limit. There is one thing you could try, that is get rid of the transmission/gearbox mod entirely as it add an extra gear to the car and affects the overall gear ratios. 1

I've tested both a stock and a maxed RSX, but sadly based on my findings, there was no difference. Granted there's no real way to even get up past 5-6th gear as the speed just slowly increases and there's not enough straight road to hit 240. That said, I do think that the 9 gears thing is an issue with the RSX, but as mentioned stock you won't get through the gears quick enough to get to that speed.
Cup Posted December 25, 2024 Report Posted December 25, 2024 (edited) honestly once you get to 9th gear if you let off the gas the car auto downshifts to 5th and you can maintain speed. not perfect but its an easy work around (based on my personal testing could be different for people with lower fps or higher) Edited December 25, 2024 by Cup
