Chopping Yields

I am not sure when this was changed but recently I've noticed when selling vehicles, you can get the WORST car choppable, and get 20k from it, then you can grab the Jester Racecar... and get 20k from it...

I believe this was a silent change, but I believe this should yield a SLIGHTLY higher payout per vehicle if we are going the "uniform amount" route. With how many tools and prep and the fact it usually takes multiple people to pull off, the yield should be around 25-30k per vehicle. I do enjoy the excitement of "OH THATS A GOOD CAR" where people who chop regularly see it and have to fight for who gets it first.

Just a small monetary raise for chopping! Thoughts below

So you’re telling me… that you chop one car and get 20k?…. Chopping in that case is clearly the highest paying crim job on the server other than a stack of drugs.

-1 no change 20k per car is nuts

Tennyinnit your calculations are not good at this instance.

in a public lab - its  a lab, anybody could come in and decide that its their chop car

private chop - well the tools that needed to be bought to make yourself a private chop are pretty expensive. Count it all together to just regain the money back you would need 8-10 cars. That is why it is 20k, it is good money, but a lot of planning goes into it not to mention the time spent just setting up or removing the stuff not to mention the sound it makes.
Also count in how many members participate in this and if everyone gets equal share of the cake, the money starts to dwindle a bit.

Still I agree with you Teenyinnit 20k is more than enough. asking it to raise it would alter the criminal roleplay and cause more problems then it would solve.
but thats just my opinion, man

I think it should be based on the tier of car honestly.

An old broken down car would realistically sell for a lot less than an expensive car like a modern sports car as an example.

I dont really agree the only bit that might make sense to give you more for a fancier car is the engine because it would be a nicer engine...... otherwise your just scrapping metal so why would it matter what kind of car it came from.

To be honest if you get your hands on a player vehicle instead of local one should be a higher pay out in general as well as it's more risk more reward type shit.

I think this could be abused.... especially with how credit vehicles work.

100% it would, it used to be the case that people would rob cars all the time, you'd be parked at the store, come out and your car would just be gone.

1. Private cars have rock bottom chop yield for a reason, it can and would be abused

2. 20k per car is a nutty rate. if anything that should be only for high end chop cars and everything else should be reduced. chopping can be as scalable as you like in terms of bringing more guys in to find and move more cars or hold your position. my biggest gripe with chops was never the profit margins but more how people would just rat out private chops to cops cus they didnt have the manpower to attack them themselves.

20k per car is fair - you'd have to split that with somebody else to stop cops tracking the car, or risk the pd/sd raiding your house, loosing hundreds of thousands, and having to run/take a taxi all the way back to your car
