Saint_ Posted July 21, 2024 Report Posted July 21, 2024 Massive +1, All undercovers should be required to wear a high rez vest so we can known not to do crime around them!! 1
Apex Posted July 21, 2024 Report Posted July 21, 2024 If you complaining about undercover cops acting like undercover cops then idk what to tell you. I spent almost 2 years as LEO in PD and SD, most of it undercover and I'm telling you they don't just ''roll labs'' asking if they can cook. If an LEO is in a lab, there's a reason that they're there. it takes a great amount of effort to achieve the point where you can go undercover and if you think that people are risking a removal from the faction so they can go roll labs and take your 10 blunts then you are mistaken. If you believe that a cop was rolling labs solely for the fun of it without an actual reason, forward it to their faction command and they will take care of it. But chances are they did have a reason, you just didn't know it because no detective is gonna tell you how they caught you committing a crime, it's the profession's secrets.
Teenyinnit Posted July 21, 2024 Report Posted July 21, 2024 -1 IRL if there was a gang problem, there would be a large police taskforce response and multiple undercover units. I do love seeing the PD out in their cruisers but the new way they are doing things is fresh and keeps you on your toes as a crim. Once you get used to their new tactics you learn to cover yourself before they get you. Crime and police response constantly evolves, they're learning and responding. 1 1
Eliza Posted July 24, 2024 Report Posted July 24, 2024 As a crim main, I agree that it sometimes can suck getting busted by undercovers, however that’s their sole purpose of being undercover, you’re not supposed to know that an undercover is undercover. There’s ways to work around undercover officers. I highly doubt somebody would be willing to risk their faction position by rolling labs for no reason just to one up you and take your little bit of drugs. If you believe this to be true, you can utilize the Internal Affairs and submit an IC or OOC report. 1
MrSilky Posted July 25, 2024 Report Posted July 25, 2024 Hey, Access to undercover vehicles is heavily regulated In-Character and less than 10% of the entire faction has the ability to use them, and they can't use them all the time and only for specific purpose roleplay. If you see any actual issues with the use, feel free to make an IA report so the faction leadership can review.
