Mack Thompson Posted October 5, 2023 Report Share Posted October 5, 2023 this may already be a thing but I suggest that a faction be made of elected officials, not appointed. to review not only Training standards but disciplinary standards and to investigate IA reports and allegations for pd/sd. This would take the matter out of department hands and therefore an unbiased decision could be made on a per case basis. Speaking from experience this is the case IRL with the exception of the officials being elected. That being said the board is comprised entirely of non Leo personnel and most departments welcome it as it shines a better light on Leo in general. This would be a full time job with endless opportunities for rp and should be paid for with tax dollars. Any normal civ would be eligible for election without a felony. just a thought seeing as there a slight riff with crim vs pd/sd just my 2cents thanks. IC would be handled by said faction as well as JB and GOV, and could be by Law Review (who are elected). OOC is handled by the faction and their obligation to the server and Legal Faction Management, who are staff members. MANY changes have come and gone due to issues, observations and oversite.
