Ritchie Stones Posted January 18, 2023 Report Share Posted January 18, 2023 helicopters in credit store or make cheaper helicopters in the game i feel that flying in eclipse is an expierence that curently is being left out for a large amount of the playerbase due to the extreme price of a helicopter being apparently 3 mill+ 250k for a flying license. not only is it an expierence being left out for most but i also notice a big oppertunity that is curently unavailable towards the server the players and the owners of the server. ------------------------------------------------------------------ i see some great effort was made into the development of the flying aspect in the server, making many of us excited. giving me the feeling that implementing this would actualy not be a bad move, eventualy granting everyone this expierence. considering that a large amount of players into the server actualy have bigger priorities when it comes to investing 3 million+ 250k, such as warehouses, houses, cars, bussiness+ licences, expensive guns for fights. that actualy be more beneficial to them , making a helicopter pretty much the last box to tic on the list. altho it makes RP sense that "not" a lot of people have a helicopter. i still think it limits a decent amount of RP oppertunity, that is curently held back (not intentionaly) for a lot of people who would like to expierence flying just for the sake of the expierence alone. making me strong convinced, that this would be a top selling item in the credit store between all the nice cars being offered today. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- side suggestion: make the helicopter only being able to be purchased when a helicopter flying license is obtained by the player. making this exclusive item somehow still ( halfway obtained ingame, and halfway obtained with real money) wich i believe to be also a wise choice towards, new players, just being able to purchase a helicopter and dunking it straight into DOC. or your favorite local skyscraper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About credits before credits get demonised into the comments, know that, there are people willing to invest into a FREE playing server who work hard and likely have less time to play and grind out ingame money, wich other people have more time but less real life money. (with all respect towards a few exceptional instances,) (where a person is in les fortunate specific circomstances or freedom of choice is affected) Either way both of party's win in the end, because that money gets support for the server with nice interiors for buildings, wich i dont always think is free to download by any website. understanding that we all benefit from credits Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd actually advocate for removing OP vehicles from credit store altogether which is a topic all in itself. Paying real money for a Neon, Sultan Classic and a few other vehicles similar take away the grind and give instant access to the best vehicles in the server, which I dont think is right. That being said, and I dont mean this in a negative or bad way, if it WAS introduced, I'd like to see the money spent on getting some more devs in the team, and thats no shade to the current devs, what they do is great, but I am sure we can all agree we need more updates, more often. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TheCactus Posted January 18, 2023 Report Share Posted January 18, 2023 -1 Just lower the prices of the helicopters in game by 1 mil for the two most expensive and maybe 1.2 mil for the trash 1 seater cause right now prices are nuts. I wouldn't buy one anyway but right now they just arent worth it and there's no resell market. All the replies above are reasons why I am against them being in the credit store (other than the fact that having 5 mil dollars assets being available for irl money would be straight up pay to win). About the cars your actualy right. It makes rp no sense to have a +1 mill car. Even when i see 4 new players in a expensive car it just weirds me out… Credits are a valid excuse for a server for support however, where do you draw the line is more the point. Purchase walk anim style is completely forgiving. Cars and houses are pay to win. This post is purely aimed towards. What could benefit the server opperation. Vallidating a need i know is high enough. Yet it will bring a lot of contradiction. But that it also did with implementing credits in general. there will be a lot of people saying no to this. Tom Solar Posted January 19, 2023 Report Share Posted January 19, 2023 -1 I think its supposed to be something for very senior players to aim for, if a 30k xp character can just pay 200€ oocly to get a heli, yea that just defeats the purpose imo, at least at this stage of bringing in heli's, no civilian has a pilots license yet btw.
