From my perspective, I do not see any over-use, and when people do overuse, it is dealt with accordingly. I echo the words on the tackling script, and feel that if people have a M4 unracked on a traffic stop, it is normally for a good reason as my fellow faction member has stated. I appreciate the topic for opinions, I hope some other players, both crim and LEO continue comment in a positive and respective way

I won't repeat with the previous members have said, but I do agree with their points/see where they are coming from. There are so many IC regulations, policies and protocols that are set in place by LEO factions, and are ones that faction members should abide by. Certain divisions/branches of these LEO factions will have slightly altered regulations when it comes to firearm deployment etc. What I can recommend is, and I know it sounds cliché, but if you feel like guns are being used/deployed for very little to no reason, then file either an IC or an OOC Internal Affairs (IA) report with the faction depending on the situation. From actively being in IA for a legal faction, to being IA'ed multiple times and from knowing how these reports are handled, I can assure you that reports are taken seriously and are reviewed to maintain both IC and OOC standards of the respective faction.

I have not had this issue since /logout was removed/since it redirects players to F1 reconnect.

For me yes, but it always happened upon the initial connection to the server but also sometimes after doing F1 reconnect. I use /logout as F1 reconnect freezes RageMP for the most part when I try it.

I had made a bug report previously about this, but had it archived as it fixed upon restart and thought it was a one-off occurrence. Now this happens multiple times to myself and other members of the community and the only way around is a full RageMP restart and hope it works, if not then restart again until it does.

This is a great suggestion that should be implemented. The SADOC has had to find work-arounds to fix permissions for certain commands due to the current "flag" system. This would be an amazing patch if implemented that would positively effect and better each faction on this server.

Of course! As it is, the SADOC do have the ability to track your ankle monitor just like PD and SD can track you via your phone (It uses the same command and script system, hence why you are required to keep your phone on and charged) Discord Development Post about it. Contrary to external opinions, the job and faction is very fun and interesting! The more you spend time in the faction, the more options and opportunities you can apply and have access to (Like Parole and Surveillance!), I definitely recommend the SADOC to people looking for some long-term RP where they feel that they can make a difference in the RP we provide to the community!

Hello, thank you for creating this suggestion! As someone who assisted and contributed heavily into how the SADOC runs and operates Parole and the Surveillance side, and as someone who is in the command team for Parole, Surveillance and the overall SADOC faction, I have some thoughts on this suggestion. I like the idea of a visual ankle monitor but I am unsure on how a scripted and visual ankle monitor would work as it looks like it would have to be something brand new and scripted, I will definitely bring it up internally and see what we can think and work with the developers on as it is a cool idea. From this we could maybe see if a different way of it being tracked so we scriptly track the ankle monitor instead of the parolee's phone so a better and more accurate trace would come back instead of how it currently is via the phone tracing system. As it is the only people who can RPly track your ankle monitor is the Surveillance officers that are within the SADOC as it is the SADOC that runs and operates both the parole side (releasing, meetings, check-ins) and the surveillance side (surveilling, tracking and ensuring that you are upholding your contract), therefore it would not make sense and would not RPly be possible for PD or SD to be able to track you via your ankle monitor as they are not related or associated with Parole or the workings of it. (Although they could still trace you via your phone). As the SADOC is the sole faction that is entrusted and that runs the whole parole system, PD or SD can not RPly or ICly do surveillance on you they are not apart of the SADOC's division. And as mentioned this is the job for people within the SADOC which has been ICly communicated through This epic press release! TL;DR: I will bring the idea of a visual ankle monitor up internally within the SADOC and see what we can do with the developers, including a better and more accurate way of tracking the ankle monitor instead of the current system with the phone's. The only people who RPly have access and the ability to track you via your ankle monitor is certain people within the SADOC. Once again, thank you for creating this suggestion!

Expected behavior: You should not be able to see the intradepartmental radio when off duty no matter what. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Tune into the SADOC encrypted frequency, do not clock on faction duty, then wait until someone sends a /dep or /deplow message. 911 Calls state the general location of a call when it is put in; for example "Mission Row, Metro Los Santos". I'd suggest if this could change to the (Nearest) road name instead, this allows for officers to know exactly what street the call is on when it appears in the chatbox so that the reaction and response time can be more accurate instead of responding to the call and either looking on the GPS to find the call marker or guessing from how far away the call is via the GPS route mixed with the general location that it gives.
