  1. It was a normal day at the studio, people hanging out and smoking some blunts whilst listening to music. Rafi invited his friend Tito who used to run a fight club in the city after a few drinks, Tito thought of a bright idea and invited an artist named Kuti. Kuti was full of confidence and said he would be back in 40 minutes with a diss track for certain people in the city. Here's how it went.

such a good group to RP with! Doing good with this Dashy!
  4. With the studio well underway thanks to the hard work put in by Purm, the guys decided to hang out with some friends and smoke some blunts whilst listening to music. Lester the engineer got a beat going, Kane started to freestyle, hopping for a signing and a cash bonus. A good friend and new recruit to the organisation Ahmed hopped on with him too. Whilst the bars were questionable, everyone was having a good time hanging out with their friends and getting high. Kane went out for a drive, and managed to bring some company back to the studio. With the ladies turning up, Lester and Jay went and bought some Vodka, Tequila and Wine. The party was kicking off, to end the night, the company's first signing, Sean Brunotte came through and sang a few songs for everyone. Everyone was blown away by his raw talent. Charlie McHoe, a good friend of Russo and Laurie's was hanging out in the studio, he offered to set up a meeting with [REDACTED] the leader of The Rooks. It was the first time Jay and Mike had seen him in months, he was looking strong and mentioned how his gang was in good shape and dealing with the same problem a lot of the city had been dealing with The [REDACTED]. The meeting was brief and to the point and constantly interrupted by the moaning women downstairs, however it was good to speak to some old friends again. With the studio finally coming to life, it was hard not to see the future being a success.
  5. While I agree you have a point, I think adding a "Non RP" element to this idea will purely have more of a negative repercussion to the community as whole. Now what I do agree with is to make it more of an IC issue, giving PD more to do and adding more risk to criminals and legals who want to be masked up, PD could enforce a more stop and search approach to all masked individuals as the would in real life. We should be actively looking at ways to implement changes ICly without the need for OOC rules as OOC rules extremely limit roleplay (but that is a whole different issue). Now this isn't me saying I want changes in the way masks are enforced, as quite frankly if a PO1 is bothering me about my mask every 5 minutes its just going to annoy me and I feel like it is ingrained in the culture to have a mask on. TLDR; I don't disagree with the point being made, but I don't want it implemented, however if it were to be implemented it should be IC not OOC.
  6. The beginning of something great, comes with a lot of struggle. There’s no doubt that something like this will be a struggle and the idea of having to start from scratch can be daunting. Deciding to start something, with the potential to be huge requires the blessing from certain people. Alicia Rodriguez, undeniably the most powerful woman, without a badge, in the city, loved by many but feared by all, Jay and Mike thought it was only appropriate to contact her with the ideas we planned to move forward with, so they called her and headed up north for a chat. Alicia and Gabriel were keen on the idea of the Record Label, where anyone in the city will be able to come and request a video shoot to display their lifestyle and talents. Russo then extended an offer of a free video shoot for Alicia and Gabriel's associates, once our recording studio has been constructed. Alicia also offered her services towards the escrow service, knowing a lot of people in the city, Rodriguez said she will pass on any deals she hears of towards the pair. Every business needs official representatives, some are just proxies to front for their illegal operations, however, when Mike approached Jay about hiring Jon Purmineli, it made nothing but sense. He went by the name of ‘Purm’, with an extensive business history and a dark criminal past, Purm would not only be a great asset to the company, but also a useful asset when it came to our criminal underworld. Mike called Purm and let him know we had something coming up and gave him an explanation into what our plans were. Purm had to head out the city, so the next day, Russo bumped into him at Erikson's Motorsport dealership, where conveniently they were both purchasing Landstalker XL’s. They agreed to meet up north and have a chat. Purm, Larry and Carla were all extended an invite to the “business” and all were enthusiastic about the idea. Purm was brought in as a Director, alongside Rafi Leib. Purm immediately got to work, and offered to call a demolition company and start destroying his old Ice Cream parlour. The company now had somewhere to focus their operations from, over the coming weeks Death Row can focus on constructing a recording studio, and office spaces where anyone in the city can come to chat about productions and escrow opportunities they may know of or need. With a location set and the operation slowly expanding, Death Row Incorporated was becoming more and more on track to becoming a successful organisation, both in the eyes of criminals and as a business itself. It was time for us to sign our first artist, with Jay and Mike growing up in the hood, you could argue that as their first major signing, this wouldn’t make sense. However, they couldn’t miss the opportunity. Sean Brunotte, was fairly well established within the city of Los Santos, however our plan was to take him international. The singer from New Zealand had an amazing voice, despite your music taste it was undeniable that he had raw talent. The trio discussed what to offer Brunotte, we wanted to get the most bang for his buck, but also offer him a fair deal. Purm laid out the terms of the deal to Sean and Brunotte was paid a 40k signing bonus, alongside getting [REDACTED]% of all ticket sales. Handshakes were exchanged and signatures were signed, we were one step closer to having a legitimate business to front our criminal empire.
  7. Thread looking nice, can't wait to see you all IC
  8. One of the best stories I have seen for a faction! Nice work @jamescavelli
  9. See guys it’s fine, imma just go stock up on water bottles from malgoodies and place them everywhere because there’s only a 50/50 chance it’s going to stall cars and injure someone. Even though my intention is to clearly stall someone, I’m going to be wilfully ignorant and use plausible deniability to make it look like it wasn’t on purpose.
  10. What are you talking about, no one, no one in the server role plays that there’s traffic in the road, and 90% of the server doesn’t roleplay injuries at all ( Probably even higher than 90%). Do me a favour, don’t come here trying to argue and waste my time, some of us are tired of seeing crims banned for shit LSPD can get away with, even crims in enemy gangs. It’s tiring, and quite frankly have fun arresting New Players because it’s people like you who make us crims disheartened to even play.
  11. Did the cops role play any injuries from the crash? I hate to bring blix and Steele into this as I quite like them and their RP is of good quality, but since you want to talk about “role playing injuries” how did they promptly arrive at the scene after crashing head on with a cruiser at 200+? Sounds like insta death to me if we’re being realistic. oh yeah maybe I should act like there’s loads of cars on the highway, I’ll just post on my ban appeal that “I wasn’t swerving, I was just RPing that there’s traffic in the road”
  12. Quite literally I thought we were beat and I was fine with going to prison because it was my choice to felony evade, when we saw Lowrey and Burnett crash behind us after chasing us for 15 mins in their 811 like something out of a Bad Boys movie, a glimmer of hope appeared and it was soon shattered by the abuse of the barrier that were out there with the intent to stall the car. If you didn’t know crim life is extremely tough right now and we’re trying to improve it with fairness to everyone, hence why i suggested leaving gaps at least in the barricade, that way it’s a 50/50 chance. Even still, you having an 811 on us that was clearly catching up with us all the time and a helicopter above us, also every cop in the city chasing us wasn’t good enough for LSPD.
  13. Wouldn't be a brickwall at 200mph either would it? You guys fail to see how something that is unrealistic and clearly a flaw in the game engine is being misused. Thanks for the tip, however I don't think you have the facilities to be giving crims tips. Yeah, lemme just think about the little weed plants at labs that stall engines too.. Or the water bottles in the middle of the road. Next time I'm being chased or chasing someone, I'm just gonna ask the team over the radio to put loads of water bottles in the road, because "kinetic energy" will cause it to stall them.
  14. Hello? Clearly you ride some high horse and you think being patronising puts you in some sort of position that might compensate for some things, however I never said it should be super realistic, I never brought up "kinetic energy" that was all you, I'm just saying that crims are expected to hold a high level of RP and not do something that is extremely unrealistic. I stated that it's clear abuse of the barriers, nothing more.
  15. A car travelling at 200+ would blast through some plywood, yes the front bumper may get damaged but the car is rear engine so I believe the chances of it being fine, realistically would be fine. On top of that you talking about how you guys "out-played" me with your tactics that clearly, the cruisers that ploughed into my rear end didn't even know about .
  16. So you're telling me that if a car hit a wooden barrier at 200mph plus, it would come to a complete stop like it did? They were clearly misused, however I'm sure you could argue otherwise all day long
  17. I was going to report this, but then I thought that there would be no point as I feel like no one will be held accountable for it, due to the admins responses I got. We were in a 15 minute pursuit with Blix and Steele and the rest of the LSPD, which was honestly extremely fun however PD always take it that step to far where they NEED to win. We had noticed them setting up these wooden barriers along the highways which they claim are destructible but 99% of the time they just stall the cars. https://imgur.com/a/wRPVmo1 We managed to dodge most of them, and finally finesse Steele and Blix when they crash into another cruiser head on, as we go to escape where we would of most likely got free after we lost the 811 behind us, we were greeted by wooden barriers that would of quite easily been destroyed and rammed through in real life. Instead LSPD decided to abuse the fact that they are indestructible so that we would stall. It would be much more realistic if they at least left gaps to make up for the fact that the wooden barriers are indestructible, instead I feel like they took advantage of a bug abuse and PG'd the whole situation. https://streamable.com/qbot7e When I /report 4'd in game I was greeted by a PD admin who basically told me nah, and didn't even offer to redo the situation. https://imgur.com/a/KYr5lQ5 I must admit, it was a fun chase, however PD had to win once again just so they could put a crim in prison for two hours. https://imgur.com/a/UMNTVGh Hopefully we can see a big change in what I feel is a big bias towards PD, sooner rather than later.
  18. Very Good, Very Nice, I like
  19. The helicopter can quite comfortably keep up with the F620 even on the highway, I don't have an issue with the helicopter being used. It is 100x more realistic than the 811. The fact that supers are being used, which ruins the immersion aspect of being a crim, is quite frankly stupid. Sure supercars have their own rules for usage, that's why almost every day you can see the 811 sat across from Pauls farm set up for a speed trap. The 811 is a Porsche 918, worth roughly $1.2million, any argument for it being used by law enforcement is quite honestly not valid. The fact that when this tazering issue started, LSPD were let off with it. I believe Copperhorse was the one who reported the first time it happened when he was tazed off his bike near Hungry Hunter. Since then it happens everyday. We as criminals are told we cannot issue demands in a vehicle, and causing bodily harm is a form of DM, this includes punching someone. Now Tazering I would argue has a lot more impact than a punch. The fact you guys just role up to people and taze them off their bike promotes extremely poor RP and is disappointing to see. Character killed? Clearly an absurd point and a suggestion. Every criminal who has responded to this thread has offered feedback and suggestions, we haven't tried to make it toxic, yet you respond mocking my post by mimicking me saying "Furthermore", reading your responses clearly this is personal to you. We are here suggesting ways to improve the server for EVERYONE. Yet you fail to see the amount of work that goes into criminal RP. I'm not going to argue with your point, however I am going to provide what I think is a compromise. Maybe crims will get off drags and use more realistic vehicles when the police factions stop operating in a play to win manner. Right now the only way we can escape is bikes. I would be more than happy to cruise around with my friends in a four door but when I do this happens https://streamable.com/sxnc4u. This has happened not once but twice from the same officer, after us committing not even one crime. I do not want to risk going to prison for hours, losing my guns that cost money that isn't given to us hourly. Not only that, we tried to use a Chino Custom, within 5 minutes of having it, an officer had dragged us out of it at bank and searched us and our car because "face concealment" is a reason to search, this landing myself and my friend in DOC, a heavy gone that was stored in the car.
  20. Those vehicles are at that price for a reason, the F620 and the Comet Retro are pretty much unattainable to most players, due to price and the quantity on the server. Drags could be argued the same, even though I will admit, they are slightly cheaper and easier to get then the two vehicles mentioned earlier. The Issi is also very pricey and only available via credits. Now, if you were a crim you would know that is near impossible to make money now. Almost everyone I know who cooks has recently been raided after they "fixed" drug tables. It's not even worth the risk of sitting afk for 5 hours to make money. Selling weapons - only beneficial for people with laptop access. 95% of crims don't have that.
  21. I personally don’t do this, but please explain how this negatively effects PD? Your cruisers go 240 and can easily catch up on a chase for 99% of vehicles apart from a F620 and Retro on highway and a Drag and an Issi Sport in the city. You literally have helicopters... if a crim is boosting his FPS for whatever reason, it shouldn’t matter. Maybe he/she doesn’t want to go to prison for 5 hours. Furthermore, you literally have been given supercars which in my opinion is ridiculous. The only police force who I have seen have supers in the real world is Dubai, and as someone who used to live there I know they don’t actively use them, they’re more of a advertisement for the emirate and country. You may be held to certain standards, but when those standards are broken, rarely do I see repercussions towards the LSPD. In my opinion, LSPD should be charged for the weapons they take on duty, I’m not talking ridiculous prices, maybe 3k for a .50, 8k for a shotgun etc and they get charged this whenever they take it out the locker, and refunded it if they put it back in when ending duty. This adds some accountability to LSPD and maybe we will stop seeing so many hero cops trying to 1 v 3 criminals. I know charging LSPD members can also be seen as unrealistic, but it’s got to the point where they do not care if they die.
