  1. Lester Acosta

    hi

hi exclamation [INFORMAL] used as a friendly greeting or to attract attention "Hi there. How was the flight?"
  2. Looking forward to meeting you guys!
  3. Personally I play about 1-2 hours every day. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I thoroughly enjoy not being able to spend a couple days on the server because of a situation that lasted no more than 10 minutes.
  4. I find myself hunting for money from time to time and here are my thoughts on the current system and what I think should be changed. Current Situation: In terms of making money, it is very stable and balanced. You'll find yourself making 8-10K per hour depending on your level of skill and knowledge of all the places animals can be spotted. Problem: criminals are being pushed out from the illegal money making part of the server, they are starting to take up legal jobs, one of them being hunting. This presents a problem because now there is overhunting. At times I will leave the hunting grounds after an entire hour with not more than 3K worth of meat. Another problem with hunting is that animals that are dead cannot be clearly seen as dead; they look alive until you go up to them and are prompted with the message "This carcass is already gutted." Proposed Solution: I don't know whether it would be possible or not, however, I have found that on other servers there is a client sided system where the animal/creature being hunted only appear on their screen. This would reduce competition and allow for hunting to be a much more stable job. I also want to state that if this problem isn't fixed through my solution or any other solution such as increased spawn rates (which I don't think would work for obvious reasons) the problem will only get worse and once again practically destroy a valid source of income on the server.
  5. Keep in mind that this is per hour COOKING, it doesn't take into account either the money you payed for the weed OR the time you spent collecting weed, risking your safety/freedom and spending a good 15-30 minutes to collect what's needed for the cooking session. Within that risk you take going to labs you also have to account possible losses in terms of car getting chopped, gun being stolen, bags being stolen, or a cop catching you and taking all of your belonging and stacking charges on you.
  6. Much respect for this gang that I spent a good time with. Lot of good people in here that you can trust and some good leaders. Special thanks to Ricky for giving me the chance to get into GD in the first place, not sure I would've been on the server as much as I did if it weren't for your faith in me. It's a shame it was cut short but here's hoping to change, because I think that's what we need. GD 4 Life "Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat" -F. 7. Human meat was removed a while ago for a reason unbeknownst to me. Regardless of the actual reason, I want to state why I think adding the sale of human meat would benefit the server in terms of the economy and roleplay. Ever since the removal of human meat from markets, criminals have been forced to do other jobs such as mining, hunting, fishing, oil drilling, etc. While this may seem great at first glance, it has started a trend of many of the jobs that made a decent amount of money now being over-crowded by the new influx of criminals now doing legal jobs. This is because most criminals were able to live off the human meat they were able to harvest in a day and because drugs have become less of a profitable source of income than before. With the cost of living going even higher and higher every day, I feel like re-adding this source of income would ease stress on the other main sources of income and therefore make them more profitable than they currently are. PROS: -Additional source of income. -Less stress on other sources of income. -Incentive to Crim RP. CONS: -Incentive for people to escalate situations for the gathering of human meat. -Might not seem realistic.
  8. I've known you since the start of the pier and it's truly sad to see you go. Hopefully this will get fixed soon!
  9. Looking forward to seeing some new RP!
  10. This post really did not get the attention it deserved, and I feel with the current state of Criminal RP it would truly advance the state of current illegal money making. Huge +1
  11. Lester Acosta, better known as “Lez,” was a Soldier for the LFM. Before the LFM, he had no idea how to handle himself in the field. He was also not adept at aiming at people; he was very inexperienced with weapons. After being recruited into LFM by Bobby, he had started to be more active in the field. He had become a more precise shooter and more importantly, he had learned the basics to being a useful member; he learned callouts, ambush spots, and the mentality that many gangs carry. An unfortunate incident happened in the LFM which resulted in Lester Acosta getting discharged from his gang shortly after reaching Soldier. After taking some time off to think, Lester had decided that he wanted to serve a bigger part in any gang that he decides to join; he wanted to be able to take leadership positions. To achieve this, he decided that he needed a Hakuchou Drag. So, Lester Acosta made some money and redeemed some assets. After gaining the Hakuchou Drag, it was time to look for an appropriate gang that would fit his needs and most importantly, that would have a cause that he can get behind. His time in the LFM would not go without any benefits, with the time that he spent in LFM he did not only gain knowledge on how to operate efficiently on the field, he also gained a lot of contacts in gangs such as the FSO, Aztecas, and Gangster Disciples. The main contact gained in his time was Ricky Brasco, an Ex-Zetas High-Command and now Sergeant of the Gangster Disciples. He had heard his name many times but had never met "The Shooter" himself. That was, until one day he was arrested in a gang-related crime. At Bolingbroke Penitentiary, he met Ricky Brasco. He had asked him for some advice and most importantly, had established, or at the very least started a relationship with Ricky. This relationship with Ricky Brasco had helped him start the recruitment process into the Gangster Disciples. After gaining his Hakuchou Drag through the help of loyal friends Frank Gurino and Jake Ryan, Lester decided that he was fit enough to go into the ranks. So, he contacts Ricky Brasco for the recruitment process and is then given Oti Maxwell’s number, leader of the Gangster Disciples. From there, Lester Acosta texted Oti and was given the OK to roll around with them. After contacting Martin Bruise, Lester Acosta slapped on a pair of Gangster Disciples pants and within five minutes of the call, Lester Acosta was being drafted into battle. The Gangster Disciples had been at war with Daichead Gadai and The Triads. This would be the first of many fights against both gangs. Lester Acosta is not a rich man compared to the other men in Gangster Disciples, but he believes in the cause and is down to kill anyone for the Gangster Disciples. Without many funds, Lester Acosta would be forced to use .50s, a trusty weapon but nonetheless puts him at a disadvantage. He must use it to its full potential; range. At first, he served mainly as a scout, but soon Lester Acosta was initiating fights and putting in work for the Gangster Disciples and against Daichead Gadai and The Triads. Now, as an official Youngin’ of the Gangster Disciples, Lester Acosta hopes to learn from the Ex-Zetas High-Command and use their knowledge and experience to improve on his own abilities. Lester Acosta is very open to learning new skills and is always down to go to any training. He went to "Callout Training" although he thought he had very advanced callouts and still managed to get some minor tweaks to perfect them through the mentoring of the High Command. His ultimate goal is to gain enough skill and experience to where he can be considered into a Leadership Position. “He who cannot be a good follower cannot be a good leader.” —Aristotle
  12. +1 It would encourage people to give their opinions on your general roleplay and give you ways on how to improve.
  13. This suggestion was very clearly made to spite players whom do criminal role play frequently. If you are affected by crime don’t try and make an absurd suggestion like this, instead think about how you can use your brain to not get robbed or try not get into situations that will get you killed. Frankly, I don’t know how you expected support from any side. This idea is not even close to a valid one by any means, and I doubt you were serious when making it judging by the title.
  14. Lets not talk about the fact that new players waste their time there with no posible way of advancing role play or a stable source of income.
  15. Cool story, would recommend more pictures though!
  16. +1 Being affected by this rule every day I play now and doesn’t allow me to RP my part at all.
  17. An alternative solution would be for the developers to make it so cars are always unlocked for the owner and in order for other people to get in you have to unlock it yourself.
  18. Sounds like you need to make a player report; there are already rules in place to punish people who take advantage of the situation.
