  2. Title says it all!
  3. From this thread when I first started it, I got the responses in PMs from staff that the more of these opportunities that were to be requested the better the "trial and error phase" to the "new" system would be. I've encouraged this along with seeing more requests from the faction I'm in being requested, but we're back at square one of getting little to no feedback/updates from our Guides or SA's+ on these requests. Personally I feel as if some FS Guides have a little too much on their plate, and this should be apart of the Events Team or even create a Requests Team for requests such as this.
  4. Huge +1 Overall there needs to be more events for criminals in the server in general, whether it's public events for all factions or private events (A.K.A. requests) for certain factions.
  5. Bump Still haven't seen any kind implementation or urge from Faction Services to aid this issue.
  6. It's disappointing that interactions with players are declining also. Script can only help keep players active for so long temporarily, rather than upkeeping the player base that can help increase activity in players for the long-term.
  7. Bump With all of the updates coming out, I still firmly believe that this would aid the player count drastically. It'd give banned players coming back a refreshed experience, and hopefully a different outlook on the server with the new/upcoming implementations.
  8. Hello Eclipse Community! As for most players know who engage in criminal roleplay on this server, for all official status factions, players can reach out to Faction Management and make a request for Alternative Roleplay (Alt Rp). For those who don't know what Alt RP is, it's simply asking ECRP Staff for assistance, asking for them to play a role in the RP to add more aspects to the experience. This can include aspects of roleplay that cannot sometimes be done by regular players such as: driving a money truck, flying a plane in, and many more. However requesting these Alternative Roleplay scenarios can take months to approve, or even get a response for. I feel this is deterring for players who work countless days/hours to make their faction as fun as they can for their other members, but don't have the communication between Faction Management constantly to assure them some kind of interesting roleplay is to come for their faction. I have some solutions listed below to aid this issue. Problems: Lack of communication between players and FM on an Alt RP request and the status of it. (In my opinion) There is a lack of motivation for players to even send out Alt RP requests due to the low communication there is with FM. There is an uneven response rate/approval rate between players and FM for Alt RP requests. Solutions: Add a position within the ECRP Staff for this. (Ex: Head of Requests/Assistant Head of Requests) Create a form for official status factions to fill out, to better aid FM to understand the fundamentals of a player's Alt RP request. Make approving Alt RP requests a role within the "Events Team". OR Make a "Requests Team" for such requests.
  9. +1 Keep this thread alive, as it needs to happen!

  11. Never suggested allowing any flexibility on hacker's appeals in any kind of sense, as I fully agree that hackers or people leaking information should be banned permanently without an appeal. However there's a reason why I mentioned "Affiliation Bans" so much, as there's plenty of players with very clean admin records that cannot see themself coming back to something small as "Affiliation" with another player.
  12. I'd like to note I'm only making this suggestion since it was implemented on the LTU ECRP Server Here's the message from LTU ECRP Staff for reference: Translated to: After we have talked with the administration and founders, we have come to a conclusion to increase the punishment amount because we noticed that a lot of fairly new and experienced players do various mistakes. We have decided to increase the amount of punishments by twice the amount meaning that if today it took 6 non rps to get banned, now it will be 12. Also, we would like to inform you that banned players that had 6-7 non-rps or 2 dms, 2-3 metagaming punishments or 2 combat logs - you can appeal your bans and they will be looked at accordingly (accordingly meaning to the new rules) Most players are coming to conclusions that you need script on a roleplay server to have fun, however it's not always the case. Every old-school player misses the old times when ECRP (UK) would be at 600 players during "prime-times", and of coarse would agree this was the best time to play the server. Due the immense and fast decline in player count on the server, along with ECRP (LTU) founders (the same founders as the ECRP UK server) agreeing with this decision, it only makes sense to implement it to the ECRP (UK) server to help increase the player count. This could help a good amount of players who've been banned awhile back, or for "Affiliation" bans, have a second chance to come back. Along with the new drug update teasers, it could give some old players a chance to experience this update with the current players. Possible Implementations: Increasing the amount of Non-RP from 6 to 8-10 After the original 6-7 Non-RP punishment limit, to players coming back from their permanent punishments, every Non-RP punishment after that should be a temperamental punishment (such a one to three week ban), until they reach the max amount for a permanent ban. Increasing the amount of DM's punishments to a desired amount Increasing the amount of Metagaming punishments to a desired amount Increasing the amount of Combat Log punishments to a desired amount Adjust appeal flexibility on "Affiliation" bans from people: "Affiliation" of DSO / "Affiliation" to Not Here to RP Groups or "Affiliation" of High Command Not Here to RP Groups (TRCC, Narcos) /"Affiliation" of Meta-gaming Anything "Affiliation" should be re-thought from a permanent ban to a temperamental ban Give banned players with 6-7 Non-RPs more leniency on their appeal Give banned players with 2 DM's more leniency on their appeal Give banned players with 2 Meta-gaming Punishments more leniency on their appeal Give banned players with 2 Combat Logs more leniency on their appeal This does go along slightly with this Rule Suggestion: It's the same server (only difference between the two is a server region), under the same founders, so why not implement the same rules. Again, this suggestion is solely to assist the fast decline on the server's player count.

  15. Lok Yung was grown up in some of the less desirable conditions from his origins of downtown Chinatown. His life perfectly summarized by terrible grades and an early addiction to narcotics. He naturally sports an unfiltered and brash personality, but has grown to suppress such outbursts for his own good. Growing up, Lok lived under a precarious household, his mother often working much harder than she should’ve to support her son and paraplegic husband, whom-st had been mortally injured in a car crash. Often working two to three jobs, her mother often had to resort to illegal and undesirable work such as prostitution and work for sketchy people to keep her family afloat. Albeit her mother’s example of hard work and passion, Lok quickly fell out of touch after his father’s accident. He became addicted to smoking: cigarettes, marijuana, even crack at his lowest point; he often found himself sleeping through school and barely floating by... Without a real, mentally sound parental figure present in his life, Lok was influenced by the worst of his peers and friends, he struggled through highschool, suffering from depression and anxiety which was encouraged even more by his frequent drug usage. He often found refuge in the small tuner scene in her neighborhood- a measly garage which was run by a less than amiable Chinese man. Old beaters were miraculously brought back to life by said man, Lok finding small work there as a receptionist who fixed small issues here and there. At the age of sixteen, his drug usage only skyrocketed due to the money she accumulated through work and his parents; the ten dollars his mother gave him for lunch often became the ten dollars he’d use to buy a gram of weed. Becoming lazy, he was fired from his only job and barely graduated high school- a peak in his life due to his mother’s rare appearance. Not planning on a college attendance, Lok fell into random jobs which only held him for a month or two, quickly entering into the partying scene where he stupidly began to mess with random girls and to no one's surprise, even more drug usage.
