They don't follow random people tho, do they? If you get followed, it's because you were doing something completely illegal. They won't follow you if you go 130 but they definitely will if you go over 170-180 in the city because it starts to feel hard to keep up with that car until you reach 200+ This argument has been made several times and the response doesn't change, obviously. As I have said last time, there are multiple ways to make it so you can't get charged after a heli saw you driving like a complete maniac. It's really not that hard. After about 1300ft it's almost impossible to see cars from a heli and you will hear the heli if you just pay attention (engine off and increase volume) if it is at 800-1300ft. They will not see you from 1300ft if you're on foot unless he's got snipers aiming at you but you would still be able to hear it. @MrDisciple I don't know what acting you're talking about. I answered a question, displayed our point of view as police officers and pilots and even gave a tip. If you were a pilot you would know there is no need for restrictions, considering all the points I am mentioning and the time you need before you can be an effective pilot. If your green car is getting followed, it's because the driver is doing something illegal / completely stupid. Solution: don't drive extremely fast. Color or not, you are still breaking the law. If you think the color is the problem then change it. I am not forcing you to drive a green car and no one is forcing you to drive 200+ through the city. There's no way you can determine what kind of car it is from 1000ft. A scout looks just like any hatchback and you could easily say it is an Issi Sport while it's actually a Rebla so I can't determine your gang affiliation from the clouds. Now that I read the whole thing I even regret answering but whatever. "Criminal players are leaving the server more and more, how bout give us a break and let us comit the crime before arresting us?" This isn't the place to cry, man. So we should just close our eyes and ignore what you do by your own volition? I have to pull out the "if you do the crime, do the time" card here. You choose to drive 200 just like you choose to shoot, rob a bank or play crim. No one is forcing you to do any of that but you pay the price if you do. Driving 200 in the city makes 0 sense if you have no reason to do it but if you do it and you get caught, at least take it like a champ. This is 700ft. What's the model of that white car in weazel news employee parking lot? Can you also tell if he/she/it is gang affiliated? You do see how stupid that sounds? To sum it up don't drive like a nutter or use your brains if you do drive over 150 and you'll be fine. I do speed a lot too, you know? Like the 240 type of speeding and I don't think it's unbalanced considering everything I mentioned. In addition to that: - only one police heli can fly in each jurisdiction; - you can do whatever you want if you see that there's an ongoing pursuit or traffic stop with a heli; - sometimes there are no pilots on-duty.

Make it non-rp for "gang bangers" to make petty ia's
TheCactus replied to IAmTurtle's topic in Rules Suggestions
I agree that a guy from the hood that kills people would not bother with IA reports but at the same time they would not kill the cop either. You do realise that we're talking about taking on a person that is not defenseless and doing it wrong could lead to a life sentence or death. You would certainly make him pay by beating him up, property damage/stealing/shaving/steal clothes or robbing him but killing someone over a couple of words is strictly part of this server's mentality: someone calls you a retard, you aim a gun at him and go "get the fuck out of the car", they drive off, stop the car, pull their gun and a shootout starts. That's ECRP gameplay. -

BIG +1 I think prices should be adjusted a lot more when it comes to customizations and same thing about repairs. Turbo gives a significant boost in acceleration and top speed and it is the most expensive mod but it should not be the same for a warrener and a 1 mil vehicle even tho the difference should not be too substantial (10k for a Warrener, 50k for a 1 mil car) Engine upgrades for a cheap car should have very low costs while expensive cars with sophisticated engines should be insanely expensive. I know that many super cars irl have adopted relatively cheap engines from every-day cars like Ford Mondeo or Mercs with big V-engines (early 2000s Koenigsegg, Noble, McLaren and Pagani specifically) that are highly modified for performance but those modifications do cost a lot of money. I would say 10k to max a warrener's engine and 100k for a 1mil car. Transmission, suspensions and brakes should be very similar to what we have right now in terms of prices. A racing transmission obviously supports more power and allows you to change gears a lot faster (and violently) because you don't want comfort no more, you want speed. That's what you're going to put on your cheap car and slightly more expensive to support more power on an expensive car. Similar stuff can be said for the brakes. Changes in prices would push people to think twice when they want to purchase a very expensive car straight from the dealership and would encourage them to opt for cheap cars when they commit crimes or know that will crash a lot. Edit: Maybe the repair bit will change things in the server as a whole cause I am kinda tired of seeing criminals pull out their super car and put it on the line for the dumbest crimes with low or zero reward.

Make it so you don't get tickets from speed cameras if you are "caught speeding" on your bicycle. Unregistered vehicles get no tickets but bikes do.. Should've been done ages ago.

150, same for all boats

If cops were able to use any kind of weapon as passengers or drivers the Micro SMG would not be there, but they are not able to, so it's there.

I don't know. Do some research. I believe it has the best top speed between all the classic cars

Mcdonald St. 1 has been sold.

Quad bikes such as the Verus are being abused for their unrealistic 200 storage (comparable to vans and SUVs). If there's a house robbery you will either see a truck or a Verus. Reduce it to something that makes sense like 50 or less.

Add an action timer to equipping and unequipping things in /fl
TheCactus replied to Sigma's topic in Civilian Suggestions
Big L on this one. Action timers suck ass im general. Imagine your game crashes and you have to stay still and wait like 3 minutes for action timers just to equip the shit you had before. I wouldnt log back in if I had to do that. Should've specified it's a support member instead of StAfF MeMbEr. That's like saying all cops are imbecils after dealing with a Cadet that joined the faction not even a week peior. That's covered by the powergaming rule and faction regulations. That's also covered by internal regulations ans since mixing is against the rules, officers get reprimanded only if the situation is witnessed in-character. If you believe that they are not respecting protocol when it comes to any weapon that requires a certification, you can follow the require steps to report them in-character.
