Being able to DG on a player driven radio stations and the ability to take call ins etc and host discussions. Not sure how playing tunes would work legally ,unless using the songs in game already is feasible.

Hey Mike I think it all depends on what time you're on and where you hang out. Few places like the mechanic workshops and PD, MD always have things going on. Definitely stick with it as it can be great fun when you get into the swing of it and the servers a bit more populated.

And you are aware the forum login is different from the server login? They are 2 separate accounts?

It might be down to the GTMP launcher also as I know the server is one behind, maybe an admin would be better informed. I know a few new people are having login issues. Its seems its not the GTMP launcher as its just mine is one behind.

I definitely think any reasonable RP would have a lot of harder time arguing it if the baton was out and the car was hit with an animation.

People are waiting up to 5 weeks to get any response through those channels. If they are lucky enough to get one at all. I am not saying remove the command, I am saying RP the command properly. Not just going up to car with your bare hands and smashing the glass and ripping somebody from a locked car, its nonsense behavior.

Lead by example, I have never personally seen any cop RP using a baton to grab somebody out of the car. I've seen cops with nothing in their hands doing it. I think it should be a requirement as 90% of cops will not voluntarily RPing using a baton, or /me a resist. So why should the civs put themselves in the position of falling prey to a power gaming copper, I know im certainly not going to put myself in that situation? Hence RP and interactions are going to take a hit. Not to mention the fact there isnt even an animation to go with the magic me/ Im teleporting you out.

I think cops need to RP dragging people from the cars a bit better. Walking up to a locked car and just pressing a key that auto types out a /me message is border line power gaming. If thats the case why can civs not do the same? A At the very least they should have to RP putting their baton into there hands before dragging you out. As it stands nobody is going to risk stopping and trying to bluff the cops to get out of a traffic stop , it proceeds straight to chase and no RP as they just push the magic button and you're out. Also what is the IC rule for traffic stops? Arent cops supposed to have a valid reason to stop you, for example you have committed a traffic offense. Also IRL some states police are not allowed to run a check on random plates at there will, they need a reason. Its supposed to be RPing a vibrant city where you might not recognize every car you see. Could this be implemented to removing bullets from weapons? For example taking out the ammo and splitting it across 2 guns.

Its used to be 10 hours! Where can we see these changes as I cant see any change-log, as I would be amazed if it is still 4 hours and the developers didn't listen to any of the community feedback regarding prison times.

Do many people actually record and edit their videos, I saw one by the weazel news guy which had good production values. Not sure who it was though .

The RP alone of having a court is interesting in itself, having 2 lawyers argue for and against etc in front of a judge (Admin) and at least that would drive some level of RP with relation to the jailtime. It would also eat up some of your jailtime so your not just afk. On a side note why is that German server so popular? I would have thought an English speaking server would be far more popular, what do they have? Ive never played in there personally myself.

I definitely feel for sure that cops can jail you for little or nothing with no recourse or proof. If you feel you were hard done by all they say is post to Internal Affairs when you are free. Well we see how that worked out, nobody left to arrest. I think a sitting Judge who decides on jail time over x amount would be a better balance.

Id prefer to keep the topic constructive. Its not about any 1 person but things that will increase the population on the server which leads to better RP. I've also never had an infraction for cop baiting.

I would agree that 4 hours is excessive especially seeing as you cant even RP a jail break or do anything else in there. Regardless of the AFK script.

Im wondering why is the server so empty all the time, especially recently? When you see a German only speaking server constantly full yet Eclipse only has max around 30 people in it recently. Have people just migrated away from the server and can anything be done to fill it up?

Also the sound distortion that comes when talking through a megaphone is a nice immersion thing. Would probably overlap with the PD using it in their cars also rather than having to type it out.

Being able to use a handheld megaphone that you can actually hear your voice through not just text.
