what happened to IC actions have IC consequences? If someome crashed it into maze bank tower a few times too many and your enitre helicopter fleet need repairs then .... guess your faction doesnt have access to heli's unless they repair them... It's not like I get my helicopter auto-repaired as a civilian if I Wkey it into a building. just.. you know ... fly more sensibly, maybe? God forbid you have realistic consequences to crashing a multi million dollar helicopter on a roleplay server... The issue as stated is that there's not enough people being able to repair a heli. You dont fix that by having a magical repairbutton that essentially circumvents the entire fleet maintenance system (for a subset of the playerbase) If anything that will be further insentive for mechanics to NOT become eligible for helicoper repairs... the original suggestion of having more people be qualified to repair them is the only real solution. Maybe set up a mechanic/maintenance division within pd/sd? I mean DCC did it (having a mechanic division for fleet maintenance) so... i dont see no reason why cops wouldn't be able to do that there's so many possible solutions to there not being enough rotary-wing mechanics, but a script command /autorepair aint it. I think the LEO factions should explore this IC issue further and take it up with their command. A quick search on the gov website resulted in this find, and it looks like 90% of the groundwork is already laid for people to become certified as a helicopter mechanic: https://gov.eclipse-rp.net/viewtopic.php?t=159254

Agreed! There's a sidenote to this. Diamond VIP users have an option to have their cars never get dirty. I propose that this system gets changed if we were to add more car washes. (no point in adding car wash places if a substantial portion of the playerbase has no use for cleaning their cars) I believe this got added because cars got dirty way too quickly. (basically when you drove from the carwash to paleto, your car would have dirt and grime back on it already.) Cars that never get dirty aint all that realistic, but if you were to give silver/gold/diamond vips discount on a special wax that give X IRL days of perfect shine on their car when they go through the carwash that could be a nice workaround maybe? TLDR, +1 (add 1 or 2 carwash places to the map, possibly Paleto and Sandy/U-TOOL area)

Vehicle Name: Vulcar Hachura R Type of Feedback (Visual/Performance/Price): Performance Feedback Notes: Firstly. The combustion engine kicks in above 70kph. However, when you drop below 70kph it doesn't switch back to the electric sound. (only after coming to a full stop). Would be cool if the car switches back to full electric when going below the threshold. Also, can we up the threshold to 80, so that when you're driving on cruise control in the city, it's cruising in full-electric? Secondly, I think this car should have a little more kick. EV's have generally superior accelleration compared to cars with combustion engines, so I hope that this can be tweaked a little. I own multiple 200,000 cars that have both better accelleration and top speed compared to the Hachura, so in it's current state the car feels a little underwhelming... Considering this car costs around $425,000 to fully max out. (For example, I struggle to break 200 in it and in terms of accelleration it is slower than many cars with combustion engines.)

Pretty self-explanatory: Remove the duplicate items from the furniture store to make a clearer shopping experience. And remove the items that are currently bugged. (Many items can be purchased, but will not allow the player(or admins) to be placed down. Many pieces have duplicates in the store, sometimes for a different price, sometimes in a different category. Remove the duplicate pieces so that people have a clearer overview of what is actually for sale. Many pieces are bugged. you can buy them from the store. But once you try to use them from your inventory, your UI freezes for a second, and the piece returns to your inventory. These pieces should preferably be fixed, but if that's not possible for whatever reason, the pieces should be removed from the furniture store so that players don't waste their money on bugged items. I understand this issue may not be a pressing matter for the majority of the playerbase, but as someone who's trying to build an ingame faction around property renovations, it's an issue I encounter daily. It is quite frustrating to make your way back from the furniture store, and starting to put down the pieces you've bought, only to find out the game won't let you place them... I have also noticed that the issue has become worse lately, with pieces that used to work fine, being bugged now. I hope that this thread will catch the attention of the people that have the power to fix it. (I will also put up a bug report for the bugged furniture)

Hi! I've cooked some pork and now i'm trying to preserve it in the fridge... sadly.. my fridge with a capacity of 50, can only hold 12 vol (6 pieces) worth of pork (or any meat for that matter...) I think we should be able to stack meats of the same type together like we can with drinks to make full use of the fridges... It doesnt make sense we have to have 10 fridges for 60 pieces of meat..

OP also said that cooking times would go 10x to accomodate for hourly profits. But! I still think it's going to negatively impact other aspects of gameplay. Take for instance sparking a blunt to make lockpicking a house or car easier. This change would essentially lower the profitability of chopping/house robberies by 5k. Activities that are already not the most profitable activities. making them less viable. Its just not a good suggestion. I'm sorry.

OOH! Crims not using drugs anymore in fights? That makes them easier targets! Sorry -1 from me (People bring cooks based off of the amount of tables in the lab, basically if there's 4 coke tables, and people bring a 20 batch, they put 5 on every table, cook it and quickly depot... (potentially repeat after securing that share) your new system will force people to bring (what is now) a 40 batch. Force them to be there for double the amount of time and have a way higher risk compared to the same reward)

Issue still exists, Had to do a full PC reboot while crossing the Cayo brigde at high speed with a GPS in the glovebox. Tested it since (with GPS in my trunk, so i dont have a minimap) and VOILA! NO ISSUE! I therefore believe this entire bug is created by the gps (or the GPSblips maybe?)

+1 this is one of the easiest improvements for the server to implement. The amount of "playing around the rules" (or ruleplaying if you will) in regards to player demands that's going on (lately) is insane, frustrating, and borderline ruining the roleplay experience. People rocking up, chatting shit, waiting for the second they get a somewhat agressieve reply to open fire, or radio to their friends to start shooting is pathetic. I don't understand why this isn't in the rules already, but above all, I am truly baffled by the fact that reports get accepted whenever the situation doesnt go the way antagonist anticipated...

I am going to play devil's advocate and disagree with this for the following reason: Tasers are currently 15 seconds if i'm not mistaken? that's plenty of time to put someone under FRP by swapping to a lethal weapon, just get backup. Going in and touching someone that is actively being tased, with an ongoing electrical current, is a risky move. So if we're going to allow people to be cuffed. I think we should at least build in a % chance of the LEO getting a secondary shock. Otherwise it's super unrealistic and in my opinion would just turn tasers into a guaranteed arrest tool? What's next, we're going to argue that the minigame shouldn't even pop up, because how can they resist a cuff when their muscles are contracting? In my opinion, the 95% it doesnt work is not the bug, but the bug is the 5% you CAN do it. Not touching people having a high-voltage current shot through them sounds like pretty realistic roleplay to me. But maybe I'm just missing something entirely.

Date and time (provide timezone): 1753710500 Character name: N/A Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: Yes How many times did this issue appear for you?: Every time Issue/bug you are reporting: It is snowing in Cayo Perico, seems to be the permanent weather type Expected behavior: Sunny weather, It looks to be a rather tropical island. Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://imgur.com/a/XUn9Uw3 Note worth mentioning: - Vehicles get snow caked onto them. - Snow particles fall down from the sky, but there's no snow on the actual ground. - The property addresses seem to link to North Yankton loacations? Don't know if this is in any way relevant, but as that is a snowy map, I thought that could be causing it somehow. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A

Update on this: Today I was in Cayo (without GPS), and got into a car with a GPS in the glovebox. (causing the minimap to appear on my UI) As soon as I got into the car. the glitch happened and my game froze for a good 8-10 seconds. I think this further proves the issue is linked to the GPS, and not the loading/unloading of assets on the main GTA V map.

Bala, the thing is. IF you dont have a GPS this DOESNT happen

Date and time (provide timezone): Character name: Daniel Myers Does this issue appear again after a full game restart?: YES How many times did this issue appear for you?: EVERY TIME Issue/bug you are reporting: MAJOR lag spikes every time you go across the bridge to cayo, (Severity varies from instance to instance. 50/50 chance of the game completely shutting down) Expected behavior: driving across the bridge without the game freezing Evidence (MUST provide either UNEDITED photo or video) , notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Whenever you have a GPS on you and you cross the bridge to Cayo Perico. The game freezes (sometimes boots you out entirely) However when you do not have a GPS on you, there's no issue. Meaning this glitch/bug/freeze is related to the GPS. Suggestion to Scale Drug Manufacturing Level(s)
Danny_V replied to skeletee's topic in Criminal Suggestions
are you for real Richie? How did you find a way to turn this into a private lab thread again?
