We had a good run of video contests last year and for some reason in March they just stopped? encouraging people to make content in a public space for the server was a huge positive and the best part about it was we normally won a prize of some sort in game. I get that the voting did come from a favouritism standpoint, which is why this time we should make criteria such as: - Video must be edited and cannot be a standalone clip. - Panel of judges will decide final winner but public votes will put videos through to the final (to stop gang members blindly voting for their teammate to win) - Prizes will be lore appropriate to your character (e.g. Doris is old so she might win an old persons car/ credit animation / a single gun like a tommy gun, where as a drift racer would win credits towards an expensive drift car / an imported livery for a car he already owns / lore appropriate weapon) Please can we revive this? If a mod/admin doesn't want to run them I will happily do so (provided the prizes are given by the admin team) I personally really enjoyed watching all of the videos, and would love to see them make a come back to Discord/Forums (in a more public space if they currently here)

I know the panim definitely exists in GTA i'm just really hopin they find it and add it! and yeah lester has a walking stick anim but you have to remove any special animations on your character which is fine by me

COMPLETELY delete public lab tables and chop shops.

huge +1, I'd love to have a Shadows lab instead of the Poor RP of constantly being robbed -
Allow voting on reports that cannot be decided

oh, yikes, should have seen that one coming but i kinda hoped people would be more open minded than that. -
A place we can plant seeds in plant boxes and let them grow, except just like labs they rotate in activity. This would provide a small increase to marijuana leaves being available and give a safer way of colleting them without being shot and gives some of the rarely used labs a secondary use. It would literally be a few empty flower beds that we can plant in and wait for growth. these should be in the city where there is plenty of power to sustain the electricity required to grow marijuana secretly and would be in the indoor locations. this would increase activity in some of the lesser frequented areas of the city, increase the variety in drug crime a little and remove the necessity to rob people for marijuana leaves and camp the current outdoor plant locations.

during my time in PD/SD I've seen a lot of people in Meta cars purely baiting police chases just for the fun of the chase. realistically you wouldn't do that in real life, PD cars clearly can't keep up with you and it means the quality of roleplay diminishes to "cops vs robbers" mentality. whilst attending a Jtac chase, there's people waiting at impound and 911 calls actively coming in, some medical. because we are engaging in these bait chases means that fewer police officers are available to actually RP and do our duties. People with full load outs will die meaning they lose their items, People are waiting at impounds so can't retrieve their cars and get frustrated. RP 911 calls are being ignored so the crim who threatened a guy at burgershot now gets away with it and we arrive too late to a scene that could have been good quality. I've literally had people drive up to me and say "do you want a chase" and when I say "no thanks" they begin driving erratically in front of me and this is multiple times a day. in conclusion I think it should be NRP to want to get arrested as it provides no net positive for the individual if they get caught or don't get caught.

I like many people, find myself looking through player reports to keep myself up to date with current events. I think it would be a cool idea to allow an upvote/downvote style addition to reports which cannot be concluded by the "judge" (Admins) and let the "Jury" non admins have a vote which can be taken into consideration by the admins when concluding the report? Sometimes I see what seems to be some iffy RP go in the favour of the reported party, and sometimes its not necessarily about the rules in black and white, but the quality of the RP that backs it up. A lot of us have opinions and regardless if they have 0 effect on the outcome it would be super cool to be able to show admins what the community thinks of the situation via means of reaction. I know it's a stupid idea in reality but i just think it would be a community addition that might add value

rather than using the /Badge 0 command i think it would be a seriously cool addition to use the Panim feature but for it to show our rank + badge number + Name and a picture of us underneath the text box where the Mini MDC normally goes. and this would be shown to anyone within whisper distance, meaning we could easily show it to the driver of a vehicle etc. it would definitely level up the badge thing for Police and the Panim looks really cool and friendly already, it would just mean that the receiver of the Panim would actually get to see the information.

Hello! I'm PD and was previously SD and given my recent duty reports I think i'm a good Officer to answer this. I'm not a cop that likes the chases, I'd rather go to the impound and fill out paperwork and RP with people than do police chases in circles however I know that a lot of cops love the action. I will always choose impound because for me personally it's the kind of PD RP i enjoy Personally i think it should be like the ATM thing and the Citybee thing, if there aren't enough cops online you should be able to automate the system.

@Bala is it possible to have a fat Character with a set of clothing? basically an NPC import with like 1x prison and 1x uniform at request of joining a faction?
-
you reckon i could ask Devs to make me a fat character? omg xD
-
agreed, we'd need an adjusted wardrobe specifically for plus sized people but this could easily be a toggle option with limited options
-
allow us to adjust our body sizes please. I personally would love to see more variety in body shapes and weights so we aren't just all super lean athletes for no reason. - please make my dream of being an overweight cop become a reality.

I love this Idea, i'm a massive fan of the classic style cars but they're only good for Civvy 911 calls and not chases, I tend to roll around in a CaraCara because I'm bad at chasing and I prefer RPing with crims and Civ calls instead. Letting us know vehicle stats for each car would be amazing, it would mean we could make a decision based on what was actually needed in the moment
-
maybe we add a command once a crim is in a car? like /holding (ID) - this is to be used when we know they're going to DOC but haven't figured out all the charges yet. it would start an upwards timer and the number it hits when the officer does /prison (ID) is the number that is deducted from overall Jailtime.

literally adding one more weed spot would be beneficial, the current weed farms do get very busy

remove the "5 cops need to be on duty"
Teenyinnit replied to Teenyinnit's topic in Criminal Suggestions
I play SD in the mornings also and it's absolutely dead for us, solo criminals can't do a bunch of stuff so it' gives us nothing to do. I do play both sides and not just crim. don't entertain it if you don't want to but consistently raising the number of cops that need to be on the server hurts the LEO's too and I've seen LEO's clock in for only 20 minutes because it can get so boring for them with hours of nothing to do sometimes. it is relevant because your argument was "its for RP", but we are there waiting for the RP, literally patrolling until a tank is empty. Lower it back to 3/4 units instead of 5 again or try increasing the server pop in the mornings UTC by allowing the crime to exist with out a cop cap. also to counter your IC point - if it's an IC issue for crims it's also an IC issue for police, if there's crime in the morning police should be hiring cops for early mornings UTC, IRL if there are no cops on duty, would literally be the time i would choose to rob an atm no? I wouldn't wait for a cop to clock in for the day. -
