Welp I started reading this thread and got lost on what the convo is about but referring to the original post, yes corruption can piss people off on an ooc level but at the end of the day it provides several rp opportunities. I personally hate how crim rp is so PVP focussed, if you're not a clap crew, your crew doesn't exist. Having the corruption in these legal factions brings purpose to criminals worrying less about pvp over a fucking lab and gives the chance to rp more with detail that involves several people from both legal and illegal. I loved underground for that reason, yes we felt fucked over from time to time but the motive behind the rp was there. I love the interactions between gov, weazel and PD because it provides tons of opportunities it just relies on players to take those chances. I would love to see protests, riots and revolution in game, obviously its going to be hard to gather those players to do said activities especially seeing how a lot of crim groups focus on guns and rolling labs. Overall I'm probably saying a load of shit but don't look at too much corruption as bad in an OOC way. there's tons of opportunities they just need to be worked on ICly, its annoying on an OOC level when it doesn't work out but thats the way it is. Quality RP is far more important than being a forum warrior and far better than being someone who just wants to fight.

-1 Until people stop thinking PvP is the main form of criminal rp for example turning labs into a bloodbath or killing people cause they looked at you funny. Criminal groups need to focus on quality rp, until that happens I don't think it would ever be a good idea to increase the cap. This also gives smaller groups a chance to gain more members rather than the big crews sucking everyone up. Don't get me wrong having more than 30 sounds fun but the way gangs will use that faction cap is a different story, any crew can say "oh we don't clap or promote pvp mentalities" but they sure as shit change quickly.

This is probably the best post I've seen here. More specifically the last part about money being used from the treasury. That would actually work out well, the players themselves wouldn't be losing anything but the faction will. It may bring more rp to the server between gov factions and how money is spent in the city etc.

I like a lot of the ideas posted besides the gun dropping. As ive stated in another post, I'd suggest making it a lil easier to steal the guns from cops if they are held up. i think its just time consuming to have to wait for admins due to scripted guns being stuck on cops. besides from that the gun dropping will only incentivise PVP

I like the idea of gaining something after fighting however like others have said not just in this post but in several others before, it only pushes for more PVP. If a clap crew can get a hold of a few good heavies just by killing cops, they will do that. Maybe if it was easier to take guns off of officers when they are held up as a hostage or someone puts them under fear rp to actually drop their weapon would be better, therefore actually allowing rp to happen but i have no clue how that can be implemented.
