The rewards vary. From extra car slots, first dibs on houses, exclusive admin cars ( like for example only admins can have a sultan RS ) stuff like that. Or ingame credits or tax breaks.

Admin duty is a chore but it has rewards ( you get credits I believe ) or other things that can be handed out to make it worth while. And I agree admins get shit talked a lot but that doesnt mean they shoudnt be open to critique when its given in a respectfull way which at the moment, just as the PD is a point that needs massive improvemen

The problem is with the system in place is that admins who are dealing with RP have to break off RP or ignore a report for a bit to do continue the RP. This adds extra time to the whole situation

No I have played and was a mod on serveral SAMP servers where a RP character isnt allowed to go on admin duty at all. The system was. Admin rank 1 to 6, 1 you need to be in admin duty 3 hours each week ( it was tracked ) and it went up with rank. The highest being 6 I believe. This is a seperate character slot you were gifted once you got added into the admin team.

Honestly the problem is that the majority of the admin team is in the PD and that the server allows people to play on their "admin" characters. A admin character imo should be seperated from the RP character. This will stop people like travis palmer ( god rest his beautiful soul ) who over a long period of PD chief used his admin powers to pause RP where the PD was losing or not following PD standards. It was a long time before anything was done to stop this. Secondly I feel the PD always wants to win. 5 cops later 7 ( I believe ) go to a party with known criminal activity to arrest a criminal, this is clearly thinking they are not going to be harmed and the shootout that followed where around 30 people got mowed down by machine gun fire was the result. The list is endless and for people who have a PD character with a criminal alt that dissagree with the things being said in this thread AND my post I tell you this: Its easier to look from inside the PD to the outside and have a side character which is just a I am just using to kill the time then the other way around. I also told people that I feel the PD culture as a whole is bad, very very bad. Its modeled IMO after nazi germany, where everyone is on edge and reporting everyone else for the smallest thing. ( hitler made everyone fight everyone for his approval, I am not saying the PD are nazi's ) This made people who have a more relaxed mood to leave PD and only leaving the people are strickt as fuck and have no chill pill. There are a few exceptions but they only prove the rule as a whole. The other thing is that there are no no go zones for the PD in this city at all. Meaning dangerous zones where criminals are semi in control, where normal patrol cars dont go for the fear of getting shot. Then there is the problem with the KOS rule, in gang wars or criminals doing criminal shit with a lot to lose KOS should be allowed up to a degree. ( if reported they need to provide proof of the things they were about to lose ). Completly killing KOS makes the PD have a other advantage for surprise attacks can be the differnce between life and death for a criminal faction.

Or or, hear me out, have car be awarded in a event. For example have people do a admin run lottery all putting in 500k and getting a one of a kind exclusive super car.

Update 3: I fixed the issue by selling it to a friend and buying it back

Update: Mechanics say the car doesnt belong to me. They cant repair OR mod it. Asked a police officer to check the plate, manually looking it up ( typing in the license plate in his computer ) brings up no car, when I brought the car to him in person he could check the plate and said it belonged to me @Osvaldon Was the one that gave me my car back, I dont know what process he used because I didnt buy it off the HE/LE Update 2: Modding and repairing works now, still not able to give out keys

I was :) sneaky sneaky But yea it would have been over super quickly if he played ball, kept stalling and hoping we would shoot him or people from his gang saw him. Kind of annoying but already that is his right. As I said it takes two to tango. the group as a whole had a idea and it takes other people atleast play along a little bit to keep it going. For example I have a joke character called bob bobsen. He is basically a retard, he "speaks" making random sounds. This is a RP that needs involvement from others, I went over to weazel and had a great time with nick ponte and kamon white among others because they wanted to play balls. Then two criminals showed up and gunned down a mentally handicapped person because he hit a car, even after informt that he was retarded. This is the other side of the coin of that character. Its hard to have fun when people just shoot people. What does that have to do with the gut pushers: Well you guys have good and bad RP, good RP takes effort from all parties. I hope I have moments like the Tavi moment in the future

I dont know if it has been said already or that it my opinion is even wanted here. A groups interaction is a reflection of the intent of their RP and the intent of the people the RP with. For example I had a hour long session with the Gut pushers where the acted revenge upon tavi, dragged him around town, gave him a make over and so on. I left before it ended so I dont know the final part of it. But it shows a story line between the two parties, it had a build up and the RP i experienced was the result. This was a enjoyable experience to me. On the same character with the majority of people involved i had a other RP session which was poor due to it being basically poor robberies and pushing people around. Asking them siilly questions and acting upon that. This was a example of the exact oppesite of a good story line. because there was no story. It always takes two people to tango but as the gut pushers you are criminals and you usually have to lead, the harder part, meaning you have to give way more effort to make it a enjoyable experience for all parties. This is where people are lacking sometimes, and a place where you can improve. Try setting up long story lines. Back stab people have RP feuds, have back room alliances. Go after people when they are alone and not just shoot them but have interaction with them ( kidnapping and so on ). Just showing up, shooting and then moving on to the next part of town is something we shoudnt make the majority of the RP

Honestly this doesnt surprise me. There is a low of bad rp happening in the server. From all people, from the newest wanna be gangsta to the longest server PD members. It all comes down to the persons mood I feel, sometimes people want to rp and sometimes people dont cant be arshed and it seems the community feels this is okay. Sad but true. I know people are going to say oh here is andor again whining and bitching about how bad the server is. Well no its not ( besides that rage hates my guts ) I feel the quality is inconsistant which is a real shame, because the highs on this server are great but are also followed with some sad lows.

Ballin I feel from this post and more the previous post that you think im attacking you or the higher ups running the server for being bad. I also feel because of this you disregard the things I say as falsehoods. I have made multiple possible threads where I said things about the economy for example. I only bring up these points because I love the comunity and I want it to grow. If everyone just says of this is good and this is good aswell and ignores the issues that might not spring to the front then those issues linger longer then they should. I know that a comunity as big cant die overnight, but if small things keep pushing away small groups of players and the new players that we bring in have a big hurdle to climb over to feel like they are 100% intergrated into the comunity its an issue I like to bring up. I feel like we want the same thing but have differnt viewpoints on many issues and instead of disliking eachother ( i have hate for you what so ever. Hell I even would praise you for the amount of time you put in the comunity ) we should have a discussion. Sadly I feel like people talk with their heart and dont look at certain things objectivly, or with a understanding of certain processes or mechanics. I might be 100% wrong but this is the feeling I get. Also yes im aware im not able to see behind the curtains but this is one thing you cannot blame me for, yesterday I had a talk about this topic with @flucifial on discord even we had a differnt outlook on many things we came to a understanding of eachothers points. To adres a few things you said in your post I would like to say you claim that I only bring one clip of a guy getting dmed. We all know there are people in the server that break rules and make RP less fun for others and I could dig up 20 clips or reports to prove a point. Rather I just get one example and move on. Next point, im not being negative, im sharing my and others perspective. This perspective can differ from yours and by reading it as a point of few you could learn where certain issues you may not face lay within the comunity. This is what I meant by being in a echo chamber, only looking it from your perspective doesnt mean you know everything. Next point, my point of the admin team doing half assed is not an attack on the members of the admin team and I feel like I explained pretty well why that is. Seperating admin duty and a RP character in my opinion is a good thing. You cant have the best of both worlds, and thats what I meant by half assed. About the whole rage situation. I would like to ask, we had a big update in the criminal update correct? This is in my opinion a content update, what else was added that came close to this? About the RP situation. Again its from you and the people you spoken to, how come that the people I spoke to have a opinion thats completly differnt then your group?
