I see both sides, possibly a bit of a longer cooldown on tazers would be good and in addition some harsher disciplinaries for disregarding them completely, can please both sides here with this. As for any pd vs crim argument, not gonna bite on it, we all have ups n downs in things, let's find out a way to make it work for both sides

I believe burgershot should only give out salary if you actively are behind the counter and doing things, or maybe higher the cost for orders/lower the production time and let orders be the only valid way of payment, i do think burgershot needs improvements in itself, however i do see way to many people going afk or doing other things while not actively working at burgershot, leading to them earning 0,900$ after 30min of standing afk at every full hour ingame, which is insane.

+1 its fine to fight with your allies, it shouldn't be as strict.

+1 i think as soon as one lab goes another one should respawn within 10-15 minutes, as the current timer is extremely long.

Hello everyone, I've decided to take a chance and make a thread based on things I've seen and heard that need major or minor improvements. While I understand that we are not all going to be thinking and seeing it the same way, this is from the eyes of someone who went from criminal roleplay to legal and criminal. I have seen both sides, and I have always been wanting to see things improve for both sides. I'm here to make points that can be discussed and hopefully get looked at for this year. Before I start, I would like to thank Paulius and Osvaldon for taking their time and providing people with as much assistance and help as possible. I believe that the recent input has been more present to the public, and we appreciate the time and effort spent. Criminal activities are something that we are all aware are limited. While I personally don't really mind it, there are a few things that have been unspoken or raised that I believe can be addressed and taken a look at. With the community being a fan of the ever-rotating labs, there are a few things that need to be improved to prevent it from becoming a week-by-week decision on whether it's worth going to a lab for criminals. We can agree that not every lab should give you the option to have everything involved, however, there needs to be a proper way of either always having Garbage or Island open at all times. The social factor with the Garbage or Island lab is way too big to be pushed on a weekly basis. In addition to Garbage and 2/3 extra labs open, the labs need more variety of tables present in them. Labs do not only provide conflict but also make criminals work together, such as holding, socializing, and cooking together. The main issue comes when a lab is open in a week and everyone is around, and the next week, you barely meet any gangs due to the high effort and low reward of going into labs. Personally, I feel like having Garbage or Island open at all times and the other labs rotating would be beneficial for criminals to come around more. This is not for PvP purposes. Labs, in my opinion, bring a lot more to the table than just purely PvP. One of the best times is just hanging out with people and chatting while cooking drugs in a lab. This gives a social and positive factor to the criminals, and being aware that this can be done weekly, either on Island or Garbage, should be the way to go for shared activities and more. The small labs should have enough variety to give people even an option to avoid going to the weekly "big" lab. Now onto the smaller problem: drug tables. I feel like we can all agree that the meta of drug tables being absolutely overpowered was boring, and we do not need to go back to it. But as for now, tables have no use, and no criminal would want to use a table within the risks of blowing up and with the speed it takes. It's cool that you can cook outside, but now that labs inside properties are dead, we should remove the watering minigame again and go back to where at least getting water does not require you to hit the green wheel. It's simply annoying. Make tables have the chance to cook at a decent speed, but make them riskier of blowing up if not cleaned or watered properly outside. This is fine, but please remove the minigame for the water. That's just simply horrible. And being able to just put on 50 coke and let it run all day hoping it won't blow up randomly is also not something I find very appealing. Chopping: What a fun activity risking yourself some charges and possibly a prison sentence if caught. But if it pays out and you manage to get it done, the reward should be good enough for you to sustain yourself for the risk you've taken. At least that's what we believe if we go by the reasonable approach. With changes to the chopping prices and the recent changes to how much dealers pay for it, there was a downfall in chopping. It's simply a dead activity. It's essentially not even worth trying to lockpick or dismantle local cars as the payout is horrible no matter how good or bad the car is. We don't want to risk going for an hour, getting a license suspension, and going to jail for getting 6k. That's not something anyone would want to risk. To simply change this, I would say there should be a reversal of the chopping price drop and maybe make it a tiny bit lower for the general parts, and let the engine and the scrap parts pay generally more. As for now, having a toolbox is simply useless and more risk than any reward. For the future, I would refer to my suggestion of making chopping vehicles able to have things in them, such as items, guns, drugs, cash, clothing - you name it. It doesn't have to be an immediate change, but at least let us use the criminal activities we have. The change in store robberies has been a lot worse for criminal players, even for legals, I would suggest going back to the old ways where you could rob stores the same way as before and then give LEOs the option to review CCTVs again. I remember this as a cadet, and it was really fun to browse CCTVs while doing paperwork and once in a while catching something in progress. Street races and betting: A street race is being organized at X location, featuring Y cars. Only cars of Y type are allowed: muscle cars, motorcycles, under $80k, etc. The payout is scripted, allowing criminals to make money by participating in illegal races. This also introduces the option for people to bet on races if they wish, or to engage in race fixing and potentially ignite conflicts among participants. Car heists. Horse race betting. More freelance jobs such as cleaning jobs. Pier activities. Jewelery store heist. More to come as i get more input into things and ideas we can work with.

Hi, as a pleb criminal, I have noticed that losing even small amounts if they have value (guns, drugs, etc..) that $25,000 is just way too much. For players who don't have as much income as other criminals, a loss of even items worth $15,000 can be a significant setback. I understand that now we can say that you can earn that money by doing jobs. However, if you were affected by a rulebreak or bug, this is just frustrating. It makes me understand why sometimes it's not worth even considering a refund request and instead accept the loss and be frustrated about it. Why should this be considered? There are several compelling reasons to consider increasing the refund requests to 15k and above, especially in light of recent market trends of houses/guns and the introduction of the casino. Firstly, the decrease in gun prices has made it easier for criminals and civilians to obtain firearms. This means that encounters involving the use of guns are more frequent, resulting in a higher likelihood of players experiencing bug-related losses or rulebreak-related losses. By decreasing the refund amount, it would provide much-needed assistance to those affected by such incidents. Who would this benefit? Everyone. Who would have issues with this one? This would mean that head admins will have to probably spawn in more stuff for people. However, it could be ruled that if a loss was under a certain threshold, they would only be compensated in weapons, cash, or other items that are not easily obtainable.

+1 As someone who hasn't really played crim as much as others i believe adding a variety of tables and adding more in certain labs could be useful to give crims a way of roaming around more and not settling at the best labs only!

+1 Chopping was always something i enjoyed the most on crim, especially the risks of having your own chop was always somewhat thrilling to do as you had to not only look out for goblins that wanted to steal your belongings but also for LEO's. • Have high value off-road cars spawn around the map that can only be chopped at certain locations, add a chance for it to have valuables in it like Guns, Gun repair kits or just ammo. Packed cash in a bag, from a store or even from a bank robbery at a low % chance. Crates with drugs inside of it or cooking materials. these are examples and as there is a lot of different things it could be custom lootboxes so to say. Chopping in itself will become riskier but the reward feels more, make toolboxes take 100 attempts to dismantle and make the sounds of chopping louder to alert potentially people around you and not make it possible to just chop in a garage hoping noone sees you to earn easy money, they can be aware but chopping with toolboxes should be planned and will come with a risk and should not be an easy money making method but can be if planned properly. • Make car parts have higher prices that go lower by the quality of it, if the car is barely working and it gets chopped the car parts should be lower grade and earn lesser money, this will make people be more careful and geniunely having to plan and look out while driving those vehicles to get more money out of it. • more car spawns around the city, possibly even behind garages that could be broken into in roleplay scenarios (good for alt rp etc) This is just a suggestion and i'd love to see a complete overhaul of the chop system to make it fun appealing and risky!

Police ruining the quality of roleplay in this server.
Freyster replied to MrGapingSack's topic in Discussions
Hi there, we may or may not know another but i'm Rija and i'm playing an LEO on the server you describe the police as a ruining experience for the server, i have been with the LSPD faction for over a year and i've spent countless hours in different situations, i decided some of your text to make it easier to respond to it overall. First and foremost, I want to emphasize that we, as LEO rp'ers, are not exempt from any of the deathmatching rules on the server. We do not engage in indiscriminate shooting or ramming without a valid reason or justification. If you witness any such incidents that are clearly a violation of the rules, please use the /report 4 option or the forum report option to bring it to admin attention for appropriate action. Slowing someone down by driving in front of them to stop them indicated here, the red line is the bridge your vehicle may have stopped at, the blue car was signaling that it was a police vehicle, and you were the black circle running. The intention was to simply impede your progress temporarily, while there may be instances where someone unintentionally flips over or gets "hit" due to either synchronization issues or the vehicle's collision detection. It is important to note that this does not constitute a violaion of any rules and is a common occurrence, here I would like to add that IF you believe a rule has been broken and someone has been aggressively hitting you with their car, record and report, or ask the party to save POV for the rules that have been broken. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Pitting has procedures behind it, there is no such thing as pitting and putting people in danger, this is not a thing. Given the high server turnout, with over 300 active individuals, including both administrators who engage in roleplaying, it is unrealistic to assume that every concern can be promptly addressed. It is important to reognize that administrators and moderators are ordinary individuals, not simply sitting in an obscure location, eagerly awaiting your report. Therefore, I would like to suggest that you consider utilizing the forum reporting feature. I understand that witnessing individuals engage in poor roleplaying can be quite distressing. However, it is important to note that there are both in-game and external avenues through which you can report scuh incidents for further investigation. In many instances, individuals tend to voice their frustrations and desire for things to be different. I kindly request that you provide constructive suggestions on how to enhance the roleplaying experience. These suggestions are applable to both criminal and legal characters, as both parties should be given equal consideration. By actively participating in this process, we can collectively work towards improving any shortcomings that may have been identified. -
Separate internal Investigation faction for LSPD and SPD.
Freyster replied to Bronnen's topic in Civilian Suggestions
If you have concrete evidence of this occurrence and someone deliberately trying to spoil the fun for others, it would be wise to approach the person for a discussion or gather evidence to report them. Not only is it about the specific incidents you mentioned, but also the fact that playing as a criminal character can significantly alter people's perception of situations. While I trust your account, it is important to note that the LSPD faction has made significant progress since 2018, which you are comparing your experiences to. I do acknowledge that this is your perspective, but I strongly believe that those who are adamantly against the police department based solely on their own arrest experiences should spend a month playing as an officer to truly understand the dynamics. In your case, if you feel targeted, treated unfairly, or believe someone is intentionally trying to ruin your gameplay, it is crucial to gather evidence and report the incident to LFM , the forums, or go as far as informing the faction leadership, but from what my personal experience brings, we all are playing a game and our characters, we all play different ways of LEO and we all deal with situations and suspects differently, i hope that whatever makes you feel the way can pass by finding a solution for yourself, this will be my last words to this as i have basically stated everything i think about all this. -
Separate internal Investigation faction for LSPD and SPD.
Freyster replied to Bronnen's topic in Civilian Suggestions
(written from phone, so formatting n spelling may be off) First and foremost, I believe creating a separate faction solely focused on addressing issues within a faction seems unreasonable. There are already enough punishments being given on a daily basis, and if there are any legitimate issues, whether they are IC or OOc, they will be addressed. I understand where this frustration is coming from. When I first started playing, I only played as a criminal character and found myself sitting in jail for hours without any stamps, questioning what to do next. This made me quite upset with the people OOCLY despising them for wjo they were. However, after playing non-criminal roleplay for over a year and switching back and forth between the two, I have noticed many things that are not visible to those who have only experienced one side. I firmly believe that if people who primarily play as criminals were able to see the law enforcement side and deal with the daily challenges we face, they would understand the difficulties we encounter. While I agree that prison times could be shorter, I disagree with the idea that there is no proper handling of wrongdoing and attempts to manipulate situations for personal gain. People often judge others based on brief interactions when they are arrested, and due to the grind mentality I used to have with my criminal character, where every loss felt very painful, it's understandable that this would lead to frustration. However, it is important to address this issue as a whole rather than dismissing the Internal Affairs department as useless and assuming that officers or players in that case are not being punished just because they are not kicked out of the faction. People do find out when they make mistakes and appropriate action is taken, although it may not always be obvious to everyone. -

Toggling /b /ooc /o, just the ooc chat in general.
Freyster replied to Freyster's topic in Game Suggestions
While i agree that you can ignore the chat since it's just text i feel like having the option to toggle it would benefit people that just DONT want to deal with it more, it doesn't mean we will always turn it off but it should atleast give us the option -
Hi man, we all know sometimes when we have situations when people just can't be quiet in OOC or just won't stop talking in OOC making your experience a lot worse. I thought about it and there was 2 options, first i would love if /b can be completely removed except in dim 1 when an admin speaks to you and you can only communicate via PM's. However, sometimes it's not the biggest of deals that you talk in OOC about a situation if people are reasonable, so a toggle option would be amazing. I'm not sure if this has been addressed beforehand, but not everyone of us loves the constant toxic chatters in OOC, theres to many people that do it and it's tiring having to report all the time when people won't stop talking in OOC and not stopping so atleast give us the option to toggle it, the same with weazel but that already got recommended.
