huge +1, drivebying with autos is just no fun in anyway for anyone involved, people doing it find it boring, people receiving it ofc find it boring, semi autos are plenty

+1. Now the system is working as intended it'd be a great idea to start from fresh 100% weapons. A lot of people were punished actually upkeeping their weapons with a system that was unfortunately not working. Great stuff fixing it!

What addybeta said isn't a strawman argument at all, It's just a fact that the rules of the server apply differently to the LEO side (THIS ISN'T NECESSARILY A BAD THING). Perfect example is the OOC pager. I have never understood why crims are not allowed to pager, never heard a solid reasoning as to why they can't. Realistically speaking there is nothing stopping me from me ringing my good mate Harvey Xing and waking him up if he is asleep. I do agree that once upon a time cops were SEVERLY outnumbered and outgunned but this was around 4 years ago, its maybe about time to change a few of the rules. Just because it was approved by LFM doesn't make it any more fair. A lot of servers use a OOC means to tell people to get online because xyz is happening, and I think a perfect way of doing it is having a dedicated discord channel in every gangs official discord where staff can also watch and police what is said and shared. You would NOT be allowed to pager unless you're an official faction, could also maybe tie it to a certain tier as a reward, just another general benefit of working toward being official. I do not want anyone thinking that what I am saying is just to hate on LEO's, I fully understand and agree that a pager system makes sense, however it makes sense for crims also. And with what the original post was a about, far too many situations began with immediate lethal response, not only is it NOT FUN but it doesn't make too much sense. Yes you can pull lethal but there are a huge number of situations in real life that even if a officer has pulled his side arm on a person, the person does just bolt or attempt to do so. I don't think it should be immediate FearRP

huge +1, literally no reason not to do this kind of thing. Non intrusive and allows for far more fair gameplay. Would really love to this on ECRP as so many other servers already do this

-1 I believe most tweaks should both benefit either side in some way, this change would just "nerf" crim and just make for more frustration rather than making for new or different RP, it would also making the ordeal of using body Armor just feel extremely clunky if I'm having to go into a bag or into the boot of my car every single time. While it does make sense from a "Realism" standpoint not everything about a video game needs to be realistic, The only way I see this working is if it has a massive price reduction alongside a weight one.

It is out for a LOT of situations yes, but in my personal experience I feel as if flying the heli and chasing someone is infinitely harder than evading from one, especially in the city. There is so many things you can do to lose the heli as long as you have no ground units. With the release of cars like the Niobe I feel as if it would be really unbalanced if they couldn't have the heli out as much, yes not everyone has the Niobe but something has to be there in order to "counter" it so to speak. I do believe that maybe it could be called to less traffic stops depending on the persons IC history but other than that I think its used in the right ways

+1 I've never really understood why certain SUV's aren't allowed to "Offroad" on the server, as they are literally made IRL to do so and most of the time is a very big selling point to the vehicle, the rule states that it needs to be "Realistic" where I feel as if cars such as the Novak, Baller, Rebla not being allowed to do the same as the Kamacho is quite unrealistic in itself. Quite literally a benefit to the entire server, Crims have a better time and even cops have a better time chasing them.

I've never touched cop a day in my life but they 100% need bikes and decent cars ect or the server would literally be unplayable for them, as a civ/crim you get access to essentially whatever you can think of and cops are limited to mainly 5 ish cars. They also cannot use these vehicles whenever they want, there are certain situations/scenarios where they are allowed to use them, otherwise they have to use a specific cruiser until told otherwise

I don't understand how wanting more labs to be useable is less variety. People don't think its worth, so they don't it. This is causing for areas of the map to be dead. I don't think its healthy to have the attitude of "if you don't like it then suck it up". I'm not asking for it to only be LSD/Coke, I'm asking for every drug to be available. I'm also not asking for 8-10 tables I'm very happy with the 5-6 we have. I don't quite think you understand how holding and cooking in a lab as a gang works. Gathering ingredients isn't about having to do a lot of thinking, its about gather what you feel is worth the time you have to spend doing so. I personally don't think crim is in a shitty spot at all, I think a lot of the changes that have been made to it or ones that indirectly have changed it have been very healthy. And this isn't purely about money. This will be the last reply I will do for now as I don't want it to become a massive back and forth, thank you for replying
