I understand you ain't making the updates, I'm just salty that from what I've seen, a large majority of your original ideas post have been implemented and they may not have been implemented how you intended or expected them but not a single 1 of my friends or allies have ever been contacted about criminal suggestions so obviously it's rubbed me the wrong way. From an outside perspective it looks like LEO's have more say in the crim world when they have little to no experience playing crim and it's frustrating. The only crims that I know of that have been asked for ideas are Irish HC who have also all quit now or worse, made cops (joke). We've gone massively off topic here though (this is about faction cap). I only wanted to wind you up a bit with my original comment but I felt you came for my integrity/knowledge as a criminal player, but I've left knowing more about how things work. Cheers Bala, mwah

Not that interesting, it's just fax. I've played more than enough of this update and it was the reason that I left for 4-5 months, I even made a gang during the update which is more than we can say for you. Now that I'm back, it's somehow gotten worse with the new addition of NO ATTACHMENTS IN SHIPMENTS. Now cops can hear gun shots everywhere! And if you happened to stock pile silencer's you're now a millionaire because of OOC reasons! Yippy! Good effort at trying to undermine my opinion by discrediting me as a crim though, not sure if you've mixed me up with someone else but I have 1 NRP that's about to be voided in a few days (as it's a year old) in 3000 hours of playing, I've never been banned and I know the rules better than most and partake in highly intense criminal roleplay every day where rules are very easily broken if you don't know what you're doing. But I guess I'm not credible enough, I'm just glad we've got LEO's like yourself involved in the criminal updates. Against my better judgement, I'm making another gang in this climate. Can't wait!

It’s hardly a “feature” when the normal /pm works perfectly fine just without exposing your name. There are certain RP scenarios in which your anonymity is extremely important. Only to be VPM’d 2 minutes after the RP so they know exactly who did it. It’s being abused on a massive scale and there’s no upsides to it only negatives can come from it.

Since I've been back for 2 weeks, I've been VPM'd more times than I have in nearly 3000 hours of playing eclipse RP. My friends and allies are also saying the same thing. It seems like people have finally caught on that you can /vpm [ID] to find out any criminals name just by seeing their ID. These names are being used ICly on the daily to find out gang member's names etc. I see no reason why the /pm function isn't sufficient enough to inform people of any OOC messages you need to get to them. Remove VPM entirely and stop the metagaming.

Revert the chops and make vehicles more easily tracked, instead of 5 minutes, have /showvehicle available every 1 or 2 minutes and make it also work while people are in the car instead of the tracker magically not working because the player stays inside the vehicle. It would create more RP opportunities and if your vehicle is stolen while you're buying a burger/water for example you would more easily be able to track down whoever stole it and potentially teach them a lesson about not stealing "this particular colour of vehicle because it belongs to so and so gang" etc. Also there would be more gang to gang RP how there used to be where non-official gangs would often bring vehicles to official gang's owned chops.

Revert that whole "crim update" it was awful. A "crim update" entirely thought up by an LEO who woulda thought. Old banks, old chops, old drug labs in apartments. It wasn't good but it was better than what we have now.

The fact that there's no time indicator to when the bank opens right now doesn't stop them from being hit the minute they open. Whichever crew did the bank last would simply have to set a timer for when the bank "opens" again, I think it's 45 hours? I'm just theorising, not saying people have done this but it's entirely possible, so the fact that there's no indicator right now really doesn't make a difference as to when it's hit/how quickly after opening it's hit, the current system just gives an advantage to whoever did the bank last. Big +1 to xMysticZx ideas!

You could implement different choices for intimidation/bribery tactics when interacting with the dealers, eg. Pointing a gun at the dealer, making him put his hands up for a low percentage based chance system of intimidating the dealer into telling you either the location or general area of the drop or alternatively attempting to bribe the dealer with cash for a higher percentage chance of comping the exact location and time on the drop. Like Phantas said, making pointing a weapon at the dealer means gangs will have to put more planning into checking dealers and if they fail to do so it can open other avenues of rp such as taking the gang member hostage in return for the safe delivery of the drop. Just an idea

I love the idea of adding a risk vs reward factor to checking dealers with some sort of monetary balancing system (sort of like gambling) or atleast pointing a gun at the dealer for the time being (how store robberies work). But the way it’s been proposed currently would be an outright buff to official factions. All this would do is make their drops be comped even less than they already are, which can easily be 0 drops comped a day, in my experience, if you actually go through means of gang diplomacy and or strategy when placing orders.
