I think many crims would agree there’s a lot more risk than reward at times and being caught can lead to unbelievable time actually being spent in prison. I’d like to suggest that the time get capped off at a certain point to maybe 4 hours? To actually imagine people are spending upwards of 4 hours with this prison RP in place actually quite disturbing and I’m sure spending the time mentioned is plenty for crims to reflect and actually be punished. Finally on the fines they are just way to out of hand and too expensive just a little tweak lowering them would make it an all round fair RP if you are going punish crims with such long hours. 1 thing that could also improve all of that is expanding the prison to its full potential and adding more jobs to reduce time. prison RP needs huge investment into it as it’s been the same for god knows how long and it’s become very stale at this point. I spent a fair bit of time in there recently on my criminal, and was actively engaged in RP the entire time. (Jtime was 4.5hours) The trick was to avoid fighting in prison to open up the mess that is the improper escalation of attacking people in prison. If people fight the guards will lock you in a room and throw away the key, to prevent it becoming complete mess that they can't rp and do their jobs inside. There was obviously groups that were gang friends and so on, the issue is that folks go to prison and expect to be provided rp by the guards rather then create it themselves...It doesn't only need to be about stealing a handful of stamps, find more meaningful ways... gamble it, make friends, allies, gun deals, protection rackets...etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I spent about 30h in jail on my crim now and I can easily say 25 hours from that I spent having fun and RPing with other guards/inmates. This goes from watching netflix, cooking lessons, playing tag/hide and seek/squid game (KEKW), listening to music. Keep in mind that it also accounts all of your unpaid tickets into the fine. So if you had 20k in unpaid tickets it will add 20k on top of your fine. Jett_J Posted November 11, 2021 Report Share Posted November 11, 2021 Prison times should be halved in my opinion. The other day I witnessed someone get jailed for 8 hours. Having to spend 8 hours of game time in prison is crazy. Also yes some of the fines are expensive. The fines can go up to $15k for a single charge which is crippling especially for newer players.
