No more Supercars?

So, from what I’ve heard, Nobody has removed all Supercars, and people got compensated. I just wanted to know what some police officers think and what some criminals think. I personally have mixed feelings about this. Was the high speed unit from PD now fully removed? Anyways, I’d like to hear what the community has to say.

Correct PD will not have HSIU anymore and here are my thoughts. I think they are doing it to be more realistic yes they are getting taken out. We dont know if they will be back we can hope for the fact that they will make them more rare so people admire them more. Yes people are angry but you are getting refunded I am for both sides and understand both sides but I do think this is for server progression.

Is the High-Speed Interception Unit being removed? It certainly will be adjusted, if not removed. There's no reason for PD to handicap themselves, but we are not looking to be overly overpowered either, we try to balance things. If the unit isn't removed, it's most likely going to go through vehicle changes according to this new community change. That means a downgrade of cars just like everyone else. It's pending a command discussion but our supercar will definitely be removed as there's no reason for us having it right now.

What do I think about this removal? Step in the right direction(ish). I think the supercar category can be revisited at a later date once all major bugs have been fixed on the server, given that we've only got one active developer, I'd say it's more important to look into potential fixes for bugs such as invisibility. Once the developer feels that major bugs are fixed, I support a revisit of supercars with a more complex maintenance system which brings consequences (higher prices) for the reckless usage of a supercar, and also, just owning one. A supercar is a car that I see as something a car collector would only bring to car shows, car meetups etc in real life. 

I do feel sorry for the minority that was truly affected by this, those who role-played accordingly with the supercars, but they should see this as a positive change and not have many issues to adapt to the situation. If I'm not mistaken, it's already been said that supercars aren't gone for good.

"But what will it change? People will just use sport's cars or motorcycles instead" Fair enough, they might. However, it's still a change in the right direction to look into the supercars issue, especially when you have supercars chasing down military convoys and people shooting from said supercars.

I mean it wouldn't make sense to remove the HSIU completely  because there are still cars like Schafter V12 and brawler and many more that go 200-210+

I've seen the example of criminals chasing down military transports in supercar's and shooting from them twice. Sure its not realistic but neither is the military annoucing that they are going to be transporting a cache of guns and where realistic either. I understand that admins do events to get something going but if this is all for the RP experience then we have to be on better terms as a whole the direction the server should go. Ive been on this server for 2 weeks or so but ive logged 120+ hours already. In that time ive seen more police chases than i can count and not once have i seen this elusive police high speed chase vehicle. So that leads me to believe that only a few police have access to it. which it turn would lead you to believe that those few people are inactive or very low active. which would lead to a belief that theres a problem with the state of the police on the server. All of this is basic logic. So instead lets punish everyone else. I mean you are issuing refunds for the cars but to what extent. Import fees +modification cost+labor (average 10%) and Credits. well credits was a currency someone paid real money for and if they got the ETR1 for example that was 10000 credits so now theres nothing fancy that interest those people a refund does them no good. I dont own a supercar nor have i driven one. Im looking at this from a neutral standpoint. In game money is still equal to time invested as well if you average on a job 5000/hr and 500000 supercar is 100 hours of time working a job on the server not enough is what your telling everyone. and not all people that have supercars are criminals breaking the law either so there are big problems with the ideology of this change as a whole.
