Stormzuhhh
Hello there, so I currently work as a Bayview worker, and would like to implement something. To start off. during the time I've been working for Bayview, there have been a lot of vehicles stolen during the /mechservice command. I had a suggestion that while the command is going (the percentage so that it repairs it) the vehicle freezes so that no one can steal it. A lot of people have complete disregard for our RP of repairing it, or doing mods on it to where they would steal it, which is blatant NRP. I think that this would bring a fair experience to everyone as well as would make sense. Please if you have any suggestions/additions, please do not hesitate to add them! Thank you for reading this, have a wonderful day! Also, #BayviewGangOrNoGang. Edited March 9, 2021 by Stormzuhhh 2 1 1 2 1

Fishy941
+1 Very annoying when attempting to service someone's vehicle and trying to explain that it was stolen due to NRP
xmilsxox
+1 defo a problem, especially with a lot of new players (some not all) who clearly don’t understand that it’s NRP

tylxrrr
+1 Good idea! It could be like how vehicles are frozen at the vehicle markets.

Asiantator
+1. For years we used to be able to /me removes the keys from the ignition. However, we have recently been told this no longer works, due to scriptly we can start the engine and we cannot remove the keys from the ignition.(I guess they are soldered in place??). Due to this, its only a matter of time before more people use this to their advantage. Having a way for the mechanic to LOCK the car when they step out would be great. Freezing the vehicle in place seems, scriptly, to be the easiest way around this, while giving the mechanics the ability to lock the vehicle the best option. Most of the time I am working on a vehicle, something major has come out, whether its on a lift, or missing most of an engine, it just breaks immersion when I remove the sparkplugs from an engine and someone hops in and drives it off like nothing happened.
