Xoza
If you're in a vehicle... Windows Up and doors are locked. Your ID is 'masked'. Others IDs are 'masked'. Your chat is forced to /cw or /low. Your VOIP is forced to low. Radio is forced to /rlow Window Down (any) or doors are unlocked/open. Your ID is shown. You can see others IDs. Your chat is free to use. Your VOIP is normal. Radio is normal. Always You can see the ID of others in the vehicle. You can talk to the others in the vehicle freely. This would not affect any 'motorcycle' class vehicles.
alexalex303
Perhaps this might be conditional, if people are using the darkest tint level. This would offer gameplay implications for the window tint which is just cosmetic at the moment.
Ash
+1 This is simple but a neat little addition and Alex took the words out of my mouth about tint level.

There are a few things like this I did think about, but also wanted to make it fair, where both views have positives and negatives equally so there could be a little compromise. Hiding names for the driver, of individuals outside is a little odd, but there should be a balance, you are in a vehicle, could be distracted, or outside your natural LOS. Too many factors to consider, may as well make it simple. Tint changes visibility of ID, could make tint of certain levels illegal, which RPly makes sense, but it really should only be an aesthetic design choice and shouldn't change RP outcome. Tint or not, someone could 'crouch down' inside a vehicle to try to hide or conceal themselves, so this could accommodate any aspect if they were just simply hidden while in a vehicle. Simplicity, while may not always make sense, is easier to code.
freshprinceIE
Lots of this would be complicated to develop. One thing I didn't see noted was viewing the car from the front. The front windscreen is never tinted, so viewing the vehicle from the front should show the IDs inside. Could add another layer of complexity by having dynamic ID availability of the people in the rear seats. If you can physically see them, you should see the ID.
