  1. -1 It's clearly not powergaming and would not fall under that rule bracket, it's used exactly as the developers implemented it. Majority of cops do not watch the cctv live, and it can only be viewed from two static locations. In my 7+ months as LEO, I have personally seen about 4-5 robberies being announced through it. Overall, it doesn't make much of a difference so I wouldn't be opposed to it being removed.
  2. +1 overall but I feel like forcing people into the injured animation after just 1 taze is a bit too overpowered. Maybe after 2 or 3 within a set time, to allow for opportunities to escape. At the end of the day the real issue is the people who will just keep running after 5 tazes, not the person who got tased once and then had an opportunity to escape.
  3. I mean yeah... He committed accessory to felony evading so got charged with it. He needed to evade. Someone tried it once to us at the grove chop. He drove a truck out at the alley, blocking it but he just timed it a bit wrong. Time it correctly, with a backup plan and escape plan and it can work. Even if it fails, now you've split that pursuit into two pursuits, making it easier for both of you to evade ( when compared with full resources chasing one guy). Anyway, the point is to try other things to evade. If you drive around with heavy weapons visible, then commit crimes (even speeding), then that's on you.

  6. I think that the supers are just a way to balance out the high speed vehicles. Even mid range sports cars such as the Elegy Retro Custom have much better handling and acceleration than a normal cruiser in the city. PD/SD have IC internal regulations about the use of such vehicles which I guess you could pursue ICly with the government. Overall though, with the different bikes, vehicles and helicopters available, I don't think the supers make that much of a difference. You can force a super into a mistake e.g a crash or just out drive him, but you won't lose a helicopter without some good maneuvers, routes and tunnels. The lockpicking issue is more complicated. Most crims when caught just give up on RP and do not respond until you spam /b and even then they just do /license and that's it. Majority of them just want the situation over with, so the LEO just forces his RP with the crim while another LEO picklocks the vehicle. Sometimes it's just easier to picklock the vehicle rather than /me tries to search down the person for the car keys, followed by 5 messages in /b to respond to RP and so on. If this is happening to you and you are actually RPing back and forth, then I can see why it would be frustrating. Maybe you can "encourage" the RP a bit by doing some /me's too, that way they can see that you want to RP back and should RP back. For example, if you have a crash and realize that you are beat you could do a /me takes the keys from the ignition and puts them in his back pocket. This would enable further RP as the car doesn't have keys in the ignition and you can still reach them while cuffed technically to drop them etc.
  7. The deputy was able to get in and aim his gun at you before you even realized that he had came into the store (keep in mind is animation is bugged). You turned your gun to him, whilst you were already under gunpoint IRL you would be dead too. By the server rules, I don't see any rulebreaks. If you had 5 people in there, maybe it's a different scenario then. The problem really is that in most scenarios most people just run away breaking Fear RP, knowing that the LEO won't shoot someone unarmed and running, which I imagine is why he came to the door and got you under gunpoint.
  8. I think the question has to be asked... Why are criminals going around with heavy weapons (or any weapons even) visible whilst commiting crimes? Why would you drive through a city with heavy weapons on you (this question could be a standalone, why would you drive through a city full stop with heavies visible?), and then decide to speed or break other laws to bring attention to you? If you get stopped for a going 10km over the limit and have no gun visible you are going to get away fine. I had arrested a 3 times occupied vehicle this week for going incorrect lane to avoid the toll booth. They each had a pistol. The script only allows 2 guns to be stored in the glovebox, and they did not even have tinted windows so they were going to be spotted when pulled over since at least 1 gun had to be visible. Why would you do an action to bring attention to yourself? There are scripted ways to hide guns in cars and storage items. On my crim, I got caught once with an illegal .50 at the pier. I never got caught again with a pistol visible other than in a situation where I was using it (e.g a shootout, robbery). TLDR: Drive around with weapons visible, bring attention to yourself and it's on you for being arrested.
  9. This is the section for technical support, but usually it takes up to 72 hours for approval.
  10. -1 It's hard enough to find a car to chop, and most the time it's a shitty car. I used to chop cars quite a lot and you have to deal with constant patrols of gangs and PD, as well as the fact that the owner can trace it and contact PD too. All of this to spend 5 minutes for 3k.

  13. People also don't want to RP at money trucking, bus driving, postal services etc etc, so should we get rid of them all? Sometimes the toll booth operators do RP a bit, and it's also nice having to pass by an actual human even if all you say is hello. A potential pay benefit like a small hourly rate to account for the free work vehicles would be good. Eventually the buses will die down soon and traffic won't be so bad.
  14. If you want to report a bug please use the correct format. You can also do a /report 2 in game and wait for help.
  15. Pier: I haven't been to the Pier in a long time. None of my RP accross 2 characters ever requires going there, and every time I went there it was just a mess of shootouts and people simping. What I do see is more groups of people spread out everywhere else. All of the toll booths have players at them and the whole city (and map) feels much more alive. This is a lot better than having 100 people standing at pier fishing. Jobs: I mean there has been new changes to Paleto to push more jobs up there as well as the bus and garbage job getting buffs. Working at either of those can easily get you 8k+ per hour, which is more than government jobs. I do think buffs to other jobs would be good, for an overall balance. PD: Don't expect to fight PD and win. Sure take take on one cop to save a friend, but other than that you will probably lose (and as a criminal I agree with that for realism). As for chases, they can be tough but if you are a good driver and utilize the environment correctly you can get away. Again it's not realistic to have big shootouts vs cops, or for criminals to evade so easily. Criminals: The rule changes to freq's was a good thing IMO. It made gangs focus on their own RP and not just have mass alliances for no reason. Conflicts meant a lot more, and events with other gangs also mattered a lot more. Gangs can't just sit on giant freqs anymore, instead need to set up RP events with other gangs. Drug cooking could use a small buff. I'm still hoping for ATM robberies too! Gangs can focus now on RP instead of setting up on 80 man freqs waiting for a fight. Recent Events: There was a group of people were upset that this RP server wasn't designed specifically for them and all of their needs. I don't know about you, but the server has been a lot more fun recently.
