LosFumar Posted April 24, 2020 Report Posted April 24, 2020 (edited) The Gulf Cartel was a criminal syndicate and drug trafficking organization in Mexico , and perhaps one of the oldest organized crime groups in the country. The Cartel operated mainly in the north-east area of the country mainly in the state of Tamaulipas. It was one of earliest cartels in Mexico and was been around since the 1980s. It was also known for its partnerships with other cartels from Colombia. The cartel was led by Juan Garcia Abrego who has the distinction of being the first mexican drug lord included in the FBI's 10 most wanted list. After his capture , the cartel split into several factions basically his son "Osiel Cardenas Guillen" who founded the Los Zetas Cartel and he was even more violent compared to his father. Later in 2020 the left over higherup's and a group of sicarios from the organization moved to Los Santos to carry out drug trafficking , primarily cocaine and heroin under the command of Don Fumar.    Moving to Los Santos the Cartel captured a territory zone and started to invest their cash into businesses around the territory. All the people attached to drug operations in Los Santos were invited to join the cartel . Also a few goals were been set by the high command.  Gain Proper control over the territory. Set up drug labs in safe houses appointing the halcones to start production of heroin and cocaine. The Cartel will also operate through protection rackets , assassinations , extortion , kidnappings. Own all of the business properties and safe houses in the territory zone. Set up a steady income for the growth of organization. Create alliance with the best rival groups of Los Santos.   Don The highest position in the Gulf Cartel, responsible for supervising the entire drug industry, appointing territorial leaders, making alliances, and planning high-profile murders. Under-boss The second highest position in the cartel , responsible for supervising the Capos and Sicarios within their own territory. They are allowed to carry out low-profile murders without permission from the Don. Capos The person appointed by under-boss , who leads or commands the sicarios ( hit-men ) group , Capo also has the full rights to recruit sicarios for his security and his turf . Sicarios The armed group under command of a Capo within the drug cartel, responsible for carrying out assassinations, kidnappings, thefts, and extortion, operating protection rackets, and defending their turf from rival groups and the military. Halcones Considered as the "eyes and ears" of the streets, the "Halcones" are the lowest rank in the cartel. They are responsible for supervising and reporting the activities of the police, the military, and rival groups. Halcones are also appointed in drug laboratories for producing and selling specific type of drugs.   Respect Always treat each other the way you want to be treated. You give respect you get respect. Trust Trust is the first step to an unbreakable bond between the members of a good family, Breaking family's trust will not be tolerated in any ways. Loyalty All the members should be loyal to the cartel and they should not leak information.   OOC RULES  1) Follow all ECRP server rules , Failure to comply will lead to removal from the faction.  2) Maintain High quality of Roleplay.  3) Activity is one of the important thing in the faction , inactive members will be removed from the faction.  4)Also Show OOC Respect To Each Member In The Faction and Act mature.  5) All staff punishments must be explained to the higher-ups of the faction.   You can’t join the cartel easily. Invitations are made by the recruitment team , who ever worth being in the cartel is offered to join.
