Just because a lab doesn't have good table combos (Like 8 LSD tables, 2 Crack and a weed table or inverse) does not make it a bad lab. It makes it one that isn't aimed towards a quick cook or large scale group cooks. Take the old lab behind the rockford clothing store, That was all things considered, a bad lab. Not because of low table count, of which there were a total of 7 tables (1 weed, 1 crack, 5 LSD), but it was bad because of location, and as such, has since been removed. I feel like there's a solution, but it'd require development work, and we're all relatively aware of how that would fare with being implemented. Classify the labs. Upon creation, assign a lab a size class: Small, Medium, Large, Mega. Cayo - Mega Quarry - Large Dam - Medium Tugboat / Containers - Small Make it so with every rotation, there's 1 Large, 2 Medium, and 2 Small Labs open. This achieves 2 things: It enables there to always be a location for large scale cooks to happen and invite the possibility of gang conflict! Woohoo! PVPers are happy! Medium Lab numbers would allow Large gangs to be more conservative and safe due to their smaller size making them less desirable for say, the whole gang to want to cook at, but it's still possible. This also has the inverse effect of allowing smaller gangs an increased risk for an increased payout. Having the 2 Small labs allows solos and smaller gangs to do their thing with relative ease, as again, nobody cares to cook at a small lab, thus giving a small amount of security with the tradeoff of being slower, while also allowing solo criminals to play criminal characters and pursue money making activities outside of robbing ATMs. I also agree with Demonmit when he says Staff shouldn't be interfering with labs. Let it play out. EVENTUALLY someone WILL push these labs and do a sloppy job at it, attracting Police, at which point it'll get shut down. this is EXACTLY what i've been saying to do for a long time, you need to have consistent labs to be open in order for it to make sense and be fun. If this implemented PLEASE contact some criminal rpers that go to labs often in order to group what labs are mega, large, medium and small!!! Labs should rotate automatically every 3 days meaning people have to search for new ones twice and week and meaning its kept fresh and fun. If its shut down to cops ofc it rotates after x amount of hours. If a system like that is implemented literally everyone wins!! Also lets please take a look and re adjust what labs have what tables please! just because a lab is up doesn't mean its going to get used!! some of the labs have awful tables and I know @Lewis has already added a LOT of good tables to labs which has been incredibly well received. Just listen to what people want instead of calling them lazy and invalidating what they want! "Bad labs" do exist because they are not worth the time, effort and the risk to hold them, stop saying they don't exist!!! Edited February 9 by tangy 1 1 Quote

As he said and no one wants to hold 45 minutes for 1 person to cook a decent batch, as of right now thanks to @Lewis and other LFM members labs activity has sky rocketed to the moon and many more are willing to take the risk and cook altogether. We are heading in the right direction in terms of labs after a long time and can sincerely say appreciate all of staff efforts and hearing us. Edited February 9 by moment 2 2 Quote

I think the next step would be some new labs which i hear is in the works and also moving away from the one way in type labs like the container labs. They just promote poor rp and are basically afk simulators for the people inside them. 1 Quote

The activity overall in labs is cool too see, instead of the same 3 gangs, your seeing most other gangs cooking, even new gangs coming out the ground and going straight to labs now because the risk v reward has increased significantly. I'm even seeing solo's who are not even in gangs having a pop too. Sealabs is a great example, it's refreshing for sealabs to be back active again.. W staff who has heard the crim community. I also agree with @tangy, a rotation of labs every 3 days would be really cool and refreshing, not only will it makes fights for crims different weekly, it will also give good opportunities for newer players or others who didn't go to labs before experience a good handful of newer labs and/or labs that haven't really opened often before, while having fun at the same time.
