I regularly go above and beyond when it comes to proper GSW treatment in the field, providing realistic, adequate medical treatment to reduce bleeding from severe wounds and multiple GSW's. and theres been several times its just been straight denied, requiring me to force RP, or just ignored by the crim cause they're upset they lost. so its a two way street. death RP overall is a big -1 though. there's a chance you can die, get NLR'ed and avoid the repercussions of your RP choices. but if deathRP was allowed, people would just bitch and cry in /b anytime they get /cpr'ed or /stabilized. really this all boils down to the DOC RP experience for crims, theres fucking nothing to do, fixing DOC to be more engaging for crims to be at, would fix people complaining so much. That’s true the education rp from Leo’s should be high quality but at the same time as a LEO player (AJ if u know u know) how do sou want to provide high quality medical RP when the player you are treating does /do multiple GSWs and don’t answer when you ask where. Honestly I feel heavily under preassure when as a LEO doing medical RP because you have to make it in time before the suspect dies so if you don’t wanna tisk suspension for good rp you have to be quick what I am not really a fan of. At the same time I am huge advocate of an option for death RP. I see it as there are only two realistic options one would be a new more complex injury scrip with probabilities in every injury of you dying even when the medical RP is provided considering facts as locations of the wounds time weapon etc. And if it would be scripted supported there would be chance of a person dying which would be partly randomized and partly dependent on circumstances… I want to post a suggestion about this new possible script update to medical RP The second option is via Alt RP request. Which would be able to andwered by support+ and there would be guidelines for it that it has to be realistic which would supports have to follow (because the death ro can be missused as a reason to not go to jail). Bala Posted February 11, 2025 Report Posted February 11, 2025 It was removed because in essence, it being at an Officer's discretion meant that there were too many inconsistencies with it. That might be that Officer A would grant you Death RP but Officer B wouldn't, so Officer B would look like a dickhead. The inconsistency also comes from the injury role-play you have to deal with. When I'd ask people for their injuries and they'd say broken back or literally in some cases, broken penis. It's like, what do you want then, CPR or a botched circumcision? Are you going to role-play the after effects of a broken back when you get out of hospital? Fuck no, you're not. You're going to run off down the road in the direction of parking, to get your car to go do the next thing. For me, personally, if someone gets shot and they tell me they have bullet wounds, I'll give them some decent role-play of putting pressure on the wound, packing it with gauze and bandaging it. Police Officers are not medical staff, they have a good understanding of first aid but they're not trauma surgeons. That being said, if you got downed in a gun fight and still didn't die, you are still going to jail/prison. I don't care if you've now got a second mouth to breathe out of or you're now the human variant of Swiss cheese, if you got caught, you going. It's just the fairest and most consistent way to do it. I imagine if i was pushing a lab and then roleplaying that i stumbled and sprained my ankle would get me kicked out of the faction instantly which in real life i suppose would be dumb reason to kick someone.. but everyone expects purest show of skill every time there is a gunfight so no. And this is a different conversation Death RP and roleplaying sprained ankle aint the sameee Quote

TLDR, we don't give death roleplay because it's inconsistent and unfair on certain players to do so, because actions have consequences and because people dont take their roleplaying their health serious on the server anyway. There are two states, able to move and unable. That's it. Quote
SneakySniper Posted August 23, 2025 Report Posted August 23, 2025 Honestly instead of rp id just make a script where sometimes u die sometimes u get injured. Maybe if theres a way to differentiate the light injuries with the heavy ones, and base it off that. For example being shot in the head by a sniper, you would not recover from that reguardless. Quote
