Please Add Radios to Trucking Job (you cannot drive and type in /cb)

Currently trucking is one of the only jobs without an actual radio. We are given a chat CB radio but this is really hard to use considering we are driving, there is a lot of missed opportunity for community and RP here.

I suggest we give the trucking job a radio and radio frequency as there are a lot of truckers these days and we would have so much more of a community and roleplay between truckers if we had radios. Imagine a lively radio with codenames - full of chatter - the CB radio doesnt allow for this very well. A few of us have been working hard to stimulate roleplay in the truck chat, encouraging road names and actively getting to know eachother and telling stories - but it would be so much better if we could just talk! Like, look at how much chatter and community there is at construction, we could totally have that in trucking if we had actual radios.

Please give us radios and a dedicated channel! We would so appreciate it!

This could be pursued ICly. Use the CB radio to call out a radio freq to use for all truckers for example. Or put out a weazel ad to promote it. Lots of ways to make a movement happen and establish your own truckers frequency.

I completely understand that mindset but why should trucking be the only job which doesn't have access to a VOIP radio frequency. It's not as if there's no one doing the job unlike other freelance jobs...

This would be a nice thing for atc also. I believe the current issue is the limitation in the number of active voip channels that you can be in at one time with out issues happening.

wouldn't work with ATC, LEOS/EMS helis need to see the messages from civilian aircraft and that can't be done if it's moved to a radio frequency as LEO/EMS helis need to remain on their respective departments radio frequency.

+1 While trucking you should be on the trucking radio frequency doing your job.

+1 for the trucker job having a radio but the trucker job does not have a locked uniform/equipment that spawns with the job, like road crew for example.  The job would likely need some sort of set locked outfit/equipment to ensure the job isn't abused to just have a radio while not actively doing to job/on-duty like these rest of the jobs.
