    Maybe more people will become mechanics because we have a more realistic way of dealing with our cars and sometimes they permastall. Maybe people will be more careful driving their cars. Both benefit the server.

    My faction, while smaller today than a couple of months ago (like most factions) will be on the pier in between operations, events and other roleplay. We will introduce ourselves like before, help people, show them the ropes and give them a hand. And we will do it, myself personally as well, regardless if it ‘picks up’ again or not. This is where we made friends, did deals, listened to music, people watched and had fun.

    It's not a matter of efficiency. Motorcycles have vastly smaller gas tanks. 5-6 gallons vs 20 of a car. I believe things are working as intended. There are benefits to using a motorcycle but one thing to note is you will be filling up more often.

    I disagree. The pier is here now and if people want to go to a mall as an engagement point in the future, sure. Right now, we have a place where people just need to go, stay, and tell friends. If it happens, great, if it doesn't, sucks. We have to just do it.

    If every person who said 'I miss the pier' 'The pier was great' 'It was a place to meet people' went to the pier and stayed there for awhile so when other people go there they see them.. and just keep doing it.. it will come back. Bored? In between big criminal activity? Head to the pier. Just have it be the default 'welp, let's try the pier and talk to people there' and we have a good shot. Even with 'the fishing gang' moniker we do not mind, I'll be telling my faction: Spread time between hanging out at HQ in between ops and roleplay scenarios with time on the pier. We'll see how it goes.
