  1. Immediately got stonewalled with "READ THE RULES ON POSTING" by @jason, so I'm posting the entire thing below instead: I've spent $6000 on two pieces of glass furniture that I can't use. I know this is below the rule limit, but I believe this is an exceptional case due to the following information taken directly from Philoop You've implemented this on the server for purchase at the explicit submission of another player whilst knowing it is a "bugged" furniture that is against the rules. I think this could stem from the disconnect of rule knowledge between the admins and moderators, or even the person who added this "bugged" furniture to the store, and I believe I shouldn't be subject to this loss based on the above sentence. @Philoop, care to discuss on why this was implemented on the server and is purchasable whilst knowing it is a bugged furniture can never be used?
  2. I've opened a refund request based on this information, as something is not right here. Thanks for the info @Bala!
  3. +1, spent literal actual hours creating this structure when an Admin marker popped up stating to remove the watchtower (Hunters Hide asset on top of the build in the video). https://imgur.com/a/qvFvkKk The rest of the neighbors with hunters hide got the same message, albeit with a funny quip added. https://imgur.com/a/zvW8Wuw /report 1'd to ask if the hunters hide asset was the issue, to be told I now actually needed to remove the entire thing. Feel like it's luck of the draw based on the admin you get that deals with the report at that time; note how the remove request only comes in the /report and is not specified in the admin marker. Sort it out admins, unwritten rules can't be followed, and this opinion-based system is wasting players (at least for me) time. Note: the furniture is called One sided Lrg Glass, so you'd think it was OK to buy with it being in the furniture store
  4. I've seen some inconsistencies too: Smack a Bati on something forwards with the front tyre - no damage Smack a Sanctus in the same way, 100-200 damage
  5. Sincere appreciation for not only fixing it, but adding custom animations for exactly these cars. Thanks devs!
  6. +1, tested just now and it's as far as the eye can see
  7. You need to push regular /coronerrequests to catch any calls coming in, and you can only bag one body (and need to pay tollbooths each time) But you can park it in the city/home, keep your gloves and food in the storage, and it doesn't disappear on you.
  8. Having chosen to RP as a coroner, I bought my own Hearse to fit the role better (and so I can stand outside the car for an amount of time without it vanishing). I understood and accepted the limitation of the /bodybag script not working for personal vehicles, and I was at least able to deal with the single body callouts by booting the body. The last revision to trunk storage has killed this - I now have (an expensive) vehicle with space designed for a body to be placed that no longer accepts bodies in that space. Can we get this revised?
  9. +1 Having experienced this a significant amount of times, it would remove the frustration involved in failing to receive a tow, and it looks like this suggestion was raised mainly to eliminate frustration and in my opinion video games shouldn't frustrate you unintentionally. Would suggest /towposition and /untow only being allowed in either the parking lot or the mechanic shop, to avoid the chopshop issue. Experienced just now with towing a boat from the vehicle market to the sea. IMO a terrible way to look at it - would you remove EMS, instead adding a system so people value their life more? Looking at it from this way, this one aspect pointing at player fault hinders all other scenarios where towing is needed as a result of an action that is not the player's fault (victims of road collisions, boat sales, car spawn bugs), even if it is the majority of roadside callouts. Make a rule so that it's worse if the player caused it idk, just don't penalise everyone else in that swoop.
  10. Found duplicate - even more traction!
  11. Proposal: Make a freelance job that spawns a flatbed Allow /mechanic roadside requests to be passed through to the job, and the freelancer accepts the tow jobs Only allow /towposition and /untow at two pre-defined locations: public parking or mechanic shop Job site HQ as the scrapyard Benefits: Reduces the knock-on effect of understaffing "2 on ledge at all times per handbook rule" Increases the chance of a mechanic available on the ledge for repairs and mods Cons: Something something less mechanic RP something
  12. -1, securing calls in the coroner job is tough enough as it is; adding this is another way to reduce coroner need

I no longer need assistance on this issue
  14. Can I change my forum display name from Mitchell Higgins to Mortimer Hauch?
  15. Mitchell Higgins, 33, an ex-farmer from Liberty city. After the downfall of his family business, he became estranged from his wife and decided to sell the lands and start a new life in Los Santos. A well-meaning character, Mitchell opted to earn a living through civilian life, and was interested in the transport sector. Through working freelance with his friends Stef and Tek, he was able to save enough money to buy a truck, earning additional income in the mining sector. One day, Stef mentioned he was going farming with his new collective, and Mitch joined along. One meeting with the family later secured Mitch’s interest, and he was a prospect Ending up in jail, and eventually prison, confirmed his transition to criminal life He took classes on city smarts, made missions with the family And also met a few other collectives through a friendly BBQ get-together at the HQ Now he is a Soldato, bled into the family ...
  16. And again; 7pm on a Saturday, 340 players online, five cars at LSC, 6 mechanics online (requested and accepted) yet nobody can repair their car here
  17. The same damn thing happens 7am, 5pm, I'm sat here at LSC with 6 Bayview mechanics online, which are preventing me from repairing my bike in the "supposedly open" LSC in the city. "Drive all the way up the map" arguments aside, this is a detriment to gameplay at this point.
  18. The Auto-Repair is actually an existing system implemented for this exact frustrating reason (not having an mechanic available to service your car). It's akin to an NPC worker doing the same; just have it so the exact same (or even longer) RP commands and time-to-fix come from the NPC, thus negating the abuse aspect.
  19. I'm sat at bayview, waiting to guess if the one mechanic online is going to turn up so I can fix my car, because Auto-Repair is disabled with him just being online, not even actively working at Bayview or LSC. My suggestion: If nobody is ACTIVELY working at one specific custom shop (do not count online, but off-shift, mechanics), allow the auto-repair option.
