  1. Does this mean dealerships can now stock them all? Including...the Albany Lurcher?
  2. +1 on the realistic pricing: $3600 to wash a weevil custom $1600 to wash a hearse $500 to wash a sanctus Persistent dirt was added in a recent update such that parking and un-parking keeps it dirty, yet all visual damage is rectified on un-parking, but somehow the wash state relies on "vehicle visual repair services"
  3. I've had this before, sometimes pushing the opposite way allows you to change direction. Spamming at the exact same time W and D allows you to workaround the bug, not ideally. It could be because you're playing the SNES version lol
  4. I suppose it can be used similar to how we request camera footage from a nearby business, but actually just from the client's own shadowplay recording. The police could have justified the capture of plates if the CCTV cameras saw it and they ICly pulled the footage, but seems like there's uncertainty there and is a substitute for a scripted data action (i.e. instead, the cameras have their own MDC-style ANPR and record plates going past, which could be accessed with a script action).
  5. +1 to this, presumptions don't promote a positive environment either (OP is a civ)
  6. Per this report, it appears that the current implementation for speeding detection is via an autonomous scripting that "is limited in range and angle of detection/reading", which per the video appears to be unrealistically fast and accurate in its autonomous gathering of the report. I'm confused as to how this is expected to be implemented on the car itself ICly. Are they automatically active whenever the car is powered, with no RP action to enable them? Are the radars 360 degrees, and accurate enough to generate reads within split seconds? In any case, I propose that there be an actual (realistic) radar gun model that requires the police to aim it at cars to detect their speed, like you would aim a pistol out of the car, rather than the current autonomous (unrealistic actually is realistic per AtlasOLimbo's comment below) automatic detection within a specific range and angle. I'm suggesting this as it appears the police currently are driving around with an autonomous system that doesn't require active player input, which provides opportunistic actions that otherwise wouldn't have been achievable. In the report, the policeman himself stated he was performing a different action (bank robbery investigation) and seems to not have been actively seeking speeding offenders. I can't think of any similar automated system that civs or crims have access to that benefits their RP in such a way; even dashcams require multiple /do's to pull footage off, and I'm sure those parties are held to the same RP standards would they have access to something like this (i.e. RPly turning on a dashcam, /do to download the footage to make it usuable in the IC scenario).
  7. Date and time (provide timezone): 04/06/2022 15:00UTC Character name: Mortimer Hauch Issue/bug you are reporting: invisible hitbox Expected behavior: no invisible hitbox Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: drive past tree, hit invisible hitbox. Someone's placed trees that overhang the road and it's nearly zeroed my truck, /report 2 sent with no response (among others submitted over the past few days) Question: Can you get this removed?
  8. +1 for the idea and logic: your actions have consequences, choose to serial kill and have the chance to get locked up forever -1 for the per-person judgement and implementation: an IC character ultimately has the power to permanently deprive you of your IC assets via this reckoning, and this is judgement is luck-of-the-draw dependent on which judge/gov official you get. Case in point: traffic officers decide leniency at the time of a traffic penalty, and there exist "demerit" officers who are more likely to demerit you when they are able to; imagine instead of a 3 day driving ban, it's now a possible life sentence.
  9. For the requester: When you call 6666 from a phone, you will open a coroner request. This is like how 911 works, but it includes a "cancel radius" around where the call was made, like how you would cancel a taxi call or mechanic request. Leaving the area where the call was made will cancel the call to the coroner (this cancel zone is significantly larger than the taxi or mechanic radius). You will also see how many coroners are online, and if someone has accepted your request: If the coroner has accepted the request then they will gain a GPS location marker. If the coroner has accepted the request and you need to leave, you can leave the area and they will still be able to see where the call was made from. For the coroner: When a callout is made, a skull icon will appear for all coroners on shift that have a GPS: Only players employed as coroners sitting in their work vehicle (the hearse spawned by the freelance job) will receive callouts automatically, and as soon as they are made: If using a personal hearse or are on foot, you will need to manually enter /coronerrequests. This will show either 0 active requests, or any active requests made: /corr [ID] accepts the callout You can only accept one callout at a time (trying to accept a second will show a warning will appear stating "you are already servicing one client, serve them first"): Once you arrive at the location, the request will complete and the markers will disappear: /bagbody vanishes the body and spawns a bag in your hands /storebodybag at the rear of the hearse despawns the bag and adds 1 body to the storage of the hearse Caveats: Only 5 body bags can be stored in a hearse at one time, the command will not work on a 6th, so you can't hold a bag in your hands and drive off with it. You can, however, store the 6th body in the boot with /storebody, and then bag it at the morgue once the first 5 are dropped off. Possible Bug, relating to having no GPS: If you are on shift as a coroner and accept a callout, then leave the vehicle without a GPS, the marker and set destination will disappear. You can't press Y to re-set the marker, so the only solution is to re-log and re-accept the callout.
  10. A better middle ground may be to allow /dropbody at MD locations which generates a request to the coroner queue (just like a call), basically stockpiling the body count at hospitals for coroners to collect

  15. History and Purpose Formed in 2013, the Royal Society of Coroners has been committed to providing the highest quality of service. Formerly known as the Royal Society of Los Santos Coroners-on-Call (RSoLSCoC), we strive to protect and uphold the standards of the age-old profession, through reinforcing the importance of appearance and attitude within any Coroner activity, and by vetting all of our potential candidates for Mortuary employment. We actively conform to ISO directives 15189:2012 and 13688:2013, and provide corporate healthcare plans to all of our employees. The Coroner’s role is to collect, transport and process the dead of Los Santos. When a death is reported to a coroner, they typically work with Law Enforcement to investigate whether an investigation is needed, to establish the identity of the person who has died, and record any information they need to register the death. After this, they transport the bodies to the Mortuary, for further processing via funeral parlour or cremation.
