  1. when your inventory bugs out like that, just press the little scroll bar that appears next to the inventory, that should fix it.
  2. Wile it is weird that practically all the freelance jobs earn more than a starter in any gov job. I gues the ooc reasoning behind this is that faction jobs are way more enjoyable and youre payed less for the fun of the roleplay. The IC reason for this is that freelance jobs are just more work and more monotonous work and payment is also relevant to the amount of work you put in. For example, like ok truck driving is 7k/ hour if you dont crash and roadwork/burgershot is the same if you dont die Mind you most of my experience is in the DCC, so this will be DCC focused but it applies to all the actual companies. Most faction companies have a startwage of 5500/hour with the CEO making 8k/hour, some companies might raise the starter wage if they are short on people. But yea thats a 2500$/ difference that we can play with to spread it among the ranks, which isnt all that mush. To give you an idea, when Tom started with the DCC in 2020, the starting wage was $4k so that was raised $1500, wile to my knowledge the CEO's wage hasn't changed. Lots of members from our faction bring up commisions for taking taxirequests, wile it would be cool to have an added bonus, this has pros and cons though. 1. members in management spend more time doing administration stuff or training poeple, so they would miss out on the added bonus. 2. people who play on the less populated shifts will miss out on the added bonus. 3. as with the other performance relative jobs, people will fight for calls. 4. you cant give PD/SD/DOC performance based bonusses because they will start arresting more people just to get more money About raising the maximum wage to 10k, contrary to what some people think, I am sure this will have an impact on the economy. As with the real economy, flooding the system with extra money will just make everything more expencive in the long run. Do the wages need to be balanced? yes, its crazy to think an inmate can earn more than a CEO and its crazy that nobody wants to play MD cuz you can earn more at burger shot.

Maybe they can design a repair kit thats only buyable/usable when there are 0 mechanics online, costs like 5k, one time use, minigame to use and weight like 25kilo and still only fixing it till 350. This way when you crash you will need to call friends or a cab to get the repair kit and get it back to your car, this will also stop people from driving around with repair kits already in their car in case they crash. I like the idea of having to be trained on the kit, friendgroups could have that one friend who knows how to fix cars. Still like the idea of a "repair kit" is very unrealistic, just imagine fucking going off the mountain, doing barrel rolls, totaling your car completely, there is no way you can make the car driveable without having it being taken to a shop.
  6. I understand don't get me wrong, im guessing any kind of faction has trouble during the lower population hours. The recent LSC issues are only temporary and will be fixed eventually, no need to destroy the roleplay for that. Also LSC might have some trouble now but Bayview is doing good so just drive there then. Also when there are no mechanics on duty you can fix your own car in the booth.
  7. Similar ideas to this get proposed every month or so, it doesnt get implemented because its unrealistic and it would kill off both mechanic shops.
  8. really? is it? realisticly, you would take your car to a shop and leave it there for days/weeks wile your car is being repaired. I know its a game and that it shouldnt be too realistic but driving up north for 10 mins is nothing. the fact that some people treat the mechanic rp this way is part of the reason that nobody wants to play it. the problem with lsc is an ic problem and honestly my character is at lsc almost every day and almost every day there is a mechanic there to help him. Maybe the whole repair script needs some revising, instead of all of it completely based on /me's and /do's (this makespeople use scripts) it could be some kinda minigame, think amongus.
  9. The proposition is very straight forward. Being able to "carry" bicycles with the extension of being able to "store" a bicycle in a big enough trunk. 1. Add WI menus to unlocked, not running (yes bicycle can stall) and unseated bicycle with the opion to carry the bike, P drops it again. 2. Alow bicycles to be stored in a big enough trunk, preferrably as an object with weight (object with weight would alow a truck to carry more than one) 3. alow bicycles to be "carried" out of a trunk. With this I wouldnt alow the bicycles to be "picked up" as in in their inventory, i would make them weigh 50kilo or more so a racecar can only carry one or none. This would alow players to take bicycles further around the map, this would alow players to pick up a stuck/underwater bycicle without having to call mechanics/admin.

So I think that staff added this forum so people from the community have a place to propose and support community ideas, this way the devs can see what is being proposed or supported and maybe take ideas they like aswell and take them to one of the upcoming updates. This forum is not a roadmap and the devs are not obligated to take ideas from here, its also not a place to complain or argue with other members of the community, sadly when I look at some of the recent suggestions, many threads turn into one guy arueing with the people who disagree... I've said it before I really like all the people giving their ideas but I dont think the devs appreciate us argueing here, imagine being a dev loading up the forum looking for update ideas and then reading some of the comments here... very motivating... If you get frustrated from the responses or the lack of implementation, take a step back.
  12. I like the rgb ads, theres nothing wrong with it, it looks nice. People can choose how they want their ad to look withing the available colour palet or they can have Weazel use a template, either way the colour is not disturbing or anything imo, maybe if you have mods... I also see nothing wrong with the amount of ads that come trough, sometimes theres an ad but its never enough to clear your whole chat and also the ads are a part of the city, they matter. If ads were disabled when the phone is off would make sence but then 90% of crims will never get ads because they play with their phones off. Look I get it, you don't like ads irl and you dont like ads in game but changes to the server are made to improve the roleplay for everyone, the weazel faction is a necessary part of the city and if their leader thinks a change will greatly affect their ability to continue the roleplay then we should hold merrit to his opinion, definetly if more people agree. This idea has been proposed before and has received the same responses every time.
  13. i tested it out and at least on a male character its very easy to completely conceal something of the size of a combat pistol, you can even almost completely hide a .50. And if you're gonna say "nobody uses sns or combat pistols" then maybe the concealing factor is a reason to use a combat pistol or some other small firearm.
  14. +1 would be cool if our phone could register missed calls, right now all it does is give us a message in chat but it doesnt register on the phone. Also would be cool if the phone registers missed calls wile offline. And another cool basic phone thing is being able to see the date/time a message/call was made.
  15. The thing with a /conceal or an extra "hidden" slot in the inventory is that a character in his underwear could still hide his gun and thats unrealistic. Not that i'm against a way for people to ccw I just cant find a fair way to implement it as it would be dependent on your choise of clothing, in a sence people can already do it with clothing, bags or the glovebox. maybe with the upcoming clothing update we will have more freedom in this.
  16. I for one really appreciate all your ideas Antonio, I dont agree with all of them but I appreciate you looking to improve all our experiences. I dont know how development works and how ideas go from here to scripts but I'm sure the devs keep an eye on this and they created this forum so they could see what the general opinion on an idea is before they start working on it. Dont get demotivated by opposite opinions, keep it up.
  17. 1. How does this idea fit into a roleplay server? feels more like a freeroam server thing. You can already map out tracks and share them with friends over lifeinvader or any other ic communication. 2. idk nos is cool i gues, nothing wrong with this idea. could be an illegal item that needs to be imported/cooked. 3. with this idea you're taking away a core element of LSC and Bayview operations, the roadside repair. These toolbox propositions are proposed alot but I dont see it being better for the server, they already introduced car pushing which works fine. I like the idea of having it only repair untill 350 but for me to support it, it would have to be like 2 or 3 times the price of a roadside repair and one time use only. This doesnt even take into account the realism, no realistic untrained person could fix a totaled carr on the side of the road with a toolbox.. about tires of non-offroad vehicle going flat when they go off road, YES, good idea, for all i care people who do this can even loose a wheel or 2. Look I know it can be easy to just +1 an idea that makes your characters life easyer but that doesnt make the experience better and will eventually end up in an unrealistic non roleplay mess of a server.

Date and time (provide timezone): Any Character name: Tom Solar (this is not character specific) Issue/bug you are reporting: The hitbox of the "taximoonbeam" is moved relative to the moonbeam itself Expected behavior: the hitbox to be in line with the moonbeam Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: In the clip below you can see my character first walk trough the moonbeam on the left side and then climb up an elevated hotbox above the moonbeam and then walks over the hitbox. I know this glitch has been around for a wile now, i have seen it with every "taximoonbeam" spawned. the hitbox is moved like an in game meter or so to the front, right and up, making the back and the left side of the moonbeam noclip and there being some invisible "object" in front to the right side and on top of the moonbeam. this "object" collides with players, vehicles and mapped objects. this also makes it that sometimes (not always) characters cant enter the cab from the right side, making their character moonwalk against said object. video: https://streamable.com/n56z28 Vehicle license plate number*: all the "taximoonbeam"
  19. G, its pretty mush exactly the same, imagine a person hiding in the shadows, normal players wont see them, someone with no shadows mod installed will see them... This implies on many more situations hens the reason its not allowed. Some people do this to see better in pvp situations, I've seen many clips of people using this mod who didn't compromise on any other settings - still playing in ultra but with no shadows... make your own mind up on that one. I don't wanna keep going back and forth about this, I have no horse in this race other than: "I like the trees" specific rule for reference:
  20. I like the trees, makes the map looks way nicer, also easyer to evade choppers... I didnt notice any performance drop since they added the trees and i play on an 11 year old system... I dont think they should alow you to install cheats just cuz you play gta on a galaxy tab 2.

  22. The whole point of rage is that it doesnt have npc's and all the people you see walking/driving are actual players you can interact with. Plus I don't mind this difference from real life where there are way too many npc's imo ^^.
  23. -1 I think its supposed to be something for very senior players to aim for, if a 30k xp character can just pay 200€ oocly to get a heli, yea that just defeats the purpose imo, at least at this stage of bringing in heli's, no civilian has a pilots license yet btw. The prices may also change in the future (i hope) when they add more heli's (seasparrow when?)
