  1. Im unsure the reason for the hostility. But good to know, thank you!
  2. I am relaxed. You're right, it's just a song. I'm simply curious as to whether or not you intend for this to build RP or if it's just an OOC diss track lmao.
  3. Hello! I notice that this hasn't been posted ICly! I certainly hope you bring this in-game so that RP interactions can stem from it, rather than it remaining as an OOC diss track! It simply feels odd that something stemming from an IC beef has been posted solely OOCly, after your faction's insistence that they wish to avoid any RP with us whatsoever. Simply an observation. Good diss track man!
  4. Well that just quite literally isn't true. Even if it was, it is rare to see a detailed arrest report.
  5. I never said you know nothing about crim. You main an LEO. You do not regularly have to encounter losing your license for 24 hours. That is the whole point that I was making. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just a difference in perspective. Unfortunately, I think that that difference in perspective is often missed. What benefit, exactly, do you get from giving 24 hour license suspensions? Any at all? If not, what is the point? Why not change the script to be per hour? Why is a reckless and a felony public endangerment the exact same suspension? It doesn't really make sense.
  6. Short enough for the player? Bro, end of the day, this is a video game. Like, I have a life outside of it, 24 hours of my potential playtime gone is maddening. It's fun watching people who have never played crim give their two cents. Like, yeah, in your brain, in theory, it probably sounds fine. Crim and LEO might as well be two different games.
  7. Trust, they stack. Lost mine for 4 days once.
  8. +1. Squirtlesquad has a valid point. However, on the simplest level, most crims I know log out after receiving a license suspension. This is due to the following cycle: Get a vehicle impounded/license suspended for 24 hours -> Get caught driving with a suspended license -> End up with another 24 hour license suspension and impounded vehicle -> repeat License suspensions stack. No one wants to end up with all of their vehicles impounded and a 3+ day license suspension. If the mechanic causes people to log out for 24 hours at a time, it should be tweaked.
  9. There should be some rules in-place regarding robbing players robbing houses. Firstly, this would never happen IRL. When would people show up to a house being robbed and rob the robber? Secondly, as it stands, the House Robbery UI is currently the ONLY UI that is allowed to be used as in-game knowledge at this point. Seeing "House robbery" on a door and knowing it is a house robbery, imo, is basically metagaming. Lastly, people currently know what time houses are being robbed and hunt the houses at that time. The "it's random" claim just isn't true, as there are only certain houses that can be assigned as house robberies, usually in vinewood hills, chumash, or just south of the bank around Caesar's place. This makes basically 0 sense. Arguments for the way it currently is: "The lock would be noticeably broken." - No, it wouldn't be. That is not how picking a lock works. "There would be broken lockpicks on the ground." - Not if the first one was successful. "The door would be ajar." - Well, not unless the robber was incredibly dumb. "They can see your vehicle in the driveway." - Firstly, not true, as I park my vehicle multiple houses down. Secondly, a vehicle in a driveway does not = house robbery. My suggestion for the rules are simple. Make sure there is a REASON for the door to be checked. Ex: You are followed leaving the robbery broker. Or you are seen lockpicking. Maybe even add a script for broken lockpicks to be found on the ground if the first pick isn't successful. In practice, about 4 of 10 house robberies end up being foiled by gang members just checking doors at this point. This seems against the spirit of RP as a whole, as it is fully unrealistic, and it also ruins the only real solo way to make money as a criminal.

  11. +1 The new "follow people to house robbery and rob them" feels weird and like MG in its current form. Within a week house robberies have went from a mid-risk, mid-reward crim activity to basically a warzone.

  14. As someone with both an active crim and PD character: No. I would state that IC consequences on PD have the potential to be way higher than on a crim. A dishonorable discharge is quite literally character-ruining. I had one from SD and had to retire my character for like a year because no other legal faction would hire me, and there's basically no arguing it.
