  2. Huge +1, I believe there can be a lot of great RP interactions with official factions and non-official factions with the addition of a "forged money maker" item. Would be nice to see another greater investment with a good money outcome in similar relation to drug tables for crims. The current state of getting packed money is very one sided in regards to banks being the meta and only time investment worth doing compared to stores with the little of influence you get from the packed money. There is a bit of unfair advantage when it comes to banks with competition with the regard that if a faction hits their peak of players to do a bank during the night in U.S. time it is near impossible for one, a bank to be available, and secondly enough cops being online to even attempt the bank. It is also to say that the pink cage bank in which is a last resort with its location and surprisingly isn't even open often along with it being buggy, making there really only three banks considerable. It is to the point where especially if there is a high need of packed money the faction who hits their peak consistently earlier because of time zone difference always does the banks and there isn't even a chance for people in later time zones to organize and do a bank with the drastically long cooldown times. Overall I believe an addition of a "forged money maker" item would benefit a lot of crims and factions giving them a fairer chance with getting packed money to give to a desired official faction to launder so that one faction who has people online earlier can't "control" the banks in a way over all of the factions, controlling the majority of influence for money launderers.
  3. To clear up this suggestion from my perspective it is not to influence or promote more PVP by any means. These new jobs would enhance crim RP and give more opportunities in regards for more RP and a better source of making money which would RPly make sense for criminals. With the current state there is really no good job that RPly makes sense in regards to getting cash as a crim in which doesn't consume the full play time of being on the server in a single day reducing RP. It RPly wouldn't make sense for the leader of a hidden criminal faction to be driving a bus around the city with everyone seeing him or driving a garbage truck picking up trash. The current state for criminals is again making drugs, robbing stores/banks, or chopping cars. I'll break these down beginning with making drugs. Producing drugs takes up so much time that yeah in the long run you get decent money but the time invested is a lot in respect to how long you play. With gathering supplies, growing plants and collecting plants, filling water bottles, and then queuing up the drugs and monitoring watering until they're done it could take up the majority of player's time. If someone of importance in a gang wants to cook they have to devote most of if not all of their play time to that which leads to them missing RP opportunities such as meetings, events, etc. I'm not saying it's a bad way to make money but it shouldn't be one of the only ways in a crim RP sense. My second point is robbing stores/banks. In respect to robbing stores I will say that it is easy but to clean out the store efficiently without too much people including the scouts the money made off of it is not good at all unless you were to rob 20 or more stores in a row which is basically impossible as PD/SD will catch on after the first few. The risk is also not worth it by any means with fines and is kind of a petty crime for high class standard of RP for a crim in which it wouldn't make sense for a high class organization to rob stores as it's way of income. Banks are a good way to make money and they align with a lot of ways in regards to crim RP but there are many factors that have to align perfectly to do it and even do it correctly with some of them bugging some times resulting in fails. There is also a limited amount with a very high cooldown meaning usually you can have the chance to rob each bank twice per day if all of the factors align (enough PD/SD on duty). The third point is in regards to chopping cars. As chopping cars can be a decent way of income with what I believe is a very balanced risk factor, the problem is that the RP standard for chopping is more directed towards lower/middle class crims/organizations. As a member of high class crim organization I can say that we have high RP standards in regards to this and we usually never chop cars. This is again another way of making income that if you RP as high class it just doesn't make sense in regards to running around constantly pick locking cars and chopping them. Overall I do not mean to go off on a tangent but I feel that especially with the salary checks getting decreased that there is more of a limit put on RPing while not on duty for a legal faction job and that there is more of requirement of spending time working in some type of way than RPing with other people without working in which I don't believe is wanted but is just how it is currently. A scripted crim job would promote a better job that would RPly make sense and give crims a new way of making money with taking on risk factors but also not take up so much time such as cooking. I'm not saying that the payout has to be insane by any means but somewhat efficient maybe a little bit better than the bus job as there is risk involving getting busted. I do think it would be cool to have a delivery job such as go postal where the truck could be the same but the worker would be delivering forged documents as mail or some type of package. I believe this will give more RP opportunities to both crims and law enforcement and I believe that there is enough law enforcement to handle a new job like this being added. As per above with the suggestion of opening a business like a loan company or even buying a gas station there is no way of really making the money realistically unless you want to slave away cooking 500+ drugs everyday for months along with all of the government restrictions on businesses. Most of the ideas that people come up with which trust me I have heard many amazing ideas becomes alt RP in which there is unfortunately a script limit on the amount of crim RP available. I appreciate everyone who reads this and I do not mean to start any type of argument I just wanted put my 2 cents out there .
  4. Part 1 - A New Connection As time had progressed Vlad had been taking on more responsibilities as a high command member of the Rooks. As the Rooks were looking to expand their operations in Los Santos there was an idea that sparked in Vlad’s head. Vlad thought hard about the amount of drugs they would need to make sure they sustain their influence efficiently throughout the different areas of Los Santos. At the time Vlad knew that most of the other organizations had connections and relations with the other bigger organizations in the city so he tried to think of who wasn’t working with them. Vlad went to the pier to fish for a while as he thought about this. After a bit of fishing Vlad had received a text from an old friend that stated that he had a guy that wanted to meet up and discuss business. Vlad had then texted this man about meeting up to discuss business although he really did not know who he was and where he stands in the city. Vlad had chosen the hotel as the meetup spot and went straight there on his Hakuchou Drag. After waiting for a few minutes, a man in a black Baller had pulled into the hotel parking at the far end. Vlad quickly drove over as he noticed him. Vlad had made sure he had allies nearby as he was not too sure who this man was and who he was affiliated with. As Vlad walked up to the mysterious man he was greeted as the man introduced himself as Danny Spears. (First Meetup) Danny got straight to the point as he explained that he was with an organization called the White Rose Brokerage, what appeared to be an unfamiliar organization in Los Santos to Vlad. Danny had explained to Vlad that he was calling the shots as the boss and that they are a secretive organization that likes to keep their business on the low. As Vlad introduced himself to Danny and explained who he was, a smile cracked on Danny’s face. Danny had explained how he admired how the Rooks ran their business in the city from the shadows and was thrilled to have the chance to work with them. Danny continued to explain how they are a new organization that’s trying to be more of a middleman of selling illegal products to people throughout Los Santos. Danny had explained to Vlad that their specialty is cooking drugs. As Danny mentioned that Vlad cracked a smile as he liked where the conversation was going. Danny had told Vlad that his organization has multiple drug labs setup where his guys are cooking every day. Danny sold the main point of business that he wanted to discuss as he wanted to help supply the oldest standing organization in the city with drugs frequently. As Vlad wanted to discuss this with [Redacted], he told Danny that he would like to meet again tomorrow to finalize a deal between the two organizations that would benefit them both. Vlad had thanked Danny for meeting with him and they both went on their way. After thinking long about it and discussing it with another high command member, Vlad decided to meet with Danny the next day where they finalized a deal. Vlad had agreed with Danny to supply his organization with a chemical that only certain organizations and people could get their hands on along with other illegal items needed to cook. In return Danny agreed to supply the Rooks with the drugs made with the chemicals being supplied to them and other drugs that were made by his organization weekly. Vlad had thought that he had hit a homerun with forming this new relation just in time as the Rooks expanded their operations in Los Santos. This was just the beginning with the Rooks working with the White Rose Brokerage. To be continued... (Second Meetup)
  5. Separate Paths (From the perspective of Vlad Suskini) With Ash Volkov leaving the family, Mike Laurie stepped up and reached out to other gangs in the city in hope to fix any kind of shaky relationship the Rooks had with them for various reasons. Mike reached out to Otti after hearing GD’s relations with Triads had come to an end and they were starting to hit Triads and Irish. After forming this what felt like a very healthy relationship with GD, [REDACTED] held a meeting where [REDACTED] told the family not to help GD in fighting Triads and Irish as [REDACTED] wanted the family to stay low and out of the war. Some of the family disagreed with [REDACTED]’s decision to stay out of the war and a meeting was set up by Mike to talk about this big decision amongst most of the family that was helping GD in the war prior to [REDACTED]’s decision. After everyone shared their opinions a shocking decision was made. Mike Laurie made the decision that he was going to leave the family along with his brother Anthony Laurie and go join GD to help them in the war. Shortly after, Jake Wilby and Jay Russo followed Mike and left the family to join GD to help fight in the war. This was huge as Mike was helping build good relations with other gangs in the city and was trying to help get the Rooks back to one of the strongest points they have been in the last couple of months. Mike, Jake, Jay, and Anthony will all be missed and everything they’ve done for the family will not be forgotten. (The Rooks meeting to discuss everyone’s thoughts of sitting out of the war.) A Path Towards Success After a few people left the family, the Rooks needed to regroup and have a meeting to discuss their current situation with Del Perro and what the future holds. The Rooks were holding Del Perro without having any issues for a few weeks and it looked like it was going to stay that way until the Rooks discovered that the Triads had spread influence out of nowhere one day. Everyone in the family questioned why the Triads took Del Perro until they had a run-in with ex Rook and current Triad, Tyler Rogers. Tyler explained that he thought the Rooks were helping in the war and caught people he thought were still associated with the Rooks on a comped GD radio frequency. [REDACTED] asked Tyler if the Triads would stay out of Del Perro if the Rooks stayed out of the war and he agreed and said he would spread the message to the other Triads. [REDACTED] set-up a meeting at the Jetty so that they could discuss Del Perro and their current relation status with the Triads. Charlie, Yousef, Vlad, [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and an old familiar face that Vlad hasn’t seen in a while, Jerzy Mceden showed up to the Jetty. As discussions were going on a Triad colored Rapid GT Cabrio pulled up into the Jetty shocking the Rooks. It was Keavin Kong and a friendly conversation occurred and ended with him agreeing on the terms that Tyler agreed upon with [REDACTED]. It was then that neutrality was recognized between the Rooks and the Triads. The meeting ended with [REDACTED] organizing schemes to obtain packed money to launder and take back Del Perro. (The Rooks meeting to discuss business.) Running Operations With the Triads agreeing to back off Del Perro that was a green light for the Rooks to start taking Del Perro back. The Rooks have always had good relations with their pharmacist in Del Perro but the Triads spreaded a ton of influence to the money launderers. This led to a lot of work needing to be done if the Rooks wanted to take Del Perro back. The Rooks would try to do a bank here and there depending on how many people were in town but a big contributor was robbing stores. One night a high-minded member for the Rooks, [REDACTED], met up with Vlad, Nigo, Randy, and Derek, the newest addition to the family to discuss a plan to rob some stores to obtain packed money for the money launderers. Vlad mentioned he had connections with some of Crimson Syndicate’s high command. [REDACTED] called John Corsetti up to ask if he and his boys would like to rob some stores and make some money. John agreed and they all met up at The Wanted Refresh where they furthermore discussed plans. [REDACTED] organized two groups robbing different stores at the same time. After robbing six stores [REDACTED] made the call to meet up somewhere and collect all of the packed money. Vlad assisted [REDACTED] with exchanging the packed money with the money launderer in Del Perro. The operation was successful and ended with no one getting arrested and everyone going home with a little bit of cash. This is just the beginning of the Rooks taking back Del Perro as operations are still continuing. (The Rooks discussing robbing stores with Crimson Syndicate outside The Wanted Refresh)
