  3. I've decided not to tweak any vehicles anytime soon. Maximum speed is not the only stat that makes a vehicle perform better. In this particular case the Pounder truck is still slower than the Crown Victoria and has less acceleration, it has very bad braking and handling, so it can only go fast in straight roads. There are more stats that make vehicles perform better, like the ability to maintain speed while making turns or driving uphill which the Pounder obviously lacks compared the Crown Victoria cruiser. Also, you should use the savegame found in the GTA:N folder, because the singleplayer characters there have maxed out driving skill which allows you to go slightly faster in GTA:N.

You don't really need to do all three at once, having a driver's license for the beginning should suffice Taxi faction leader got his first license only after more than a week - so many tax payer donuts gone to waste The DMV is supposed to act as an introductory tutorial, but I am planning to make it more challenging, like removing the mandatory speed limit and checking if a player is keeping to the right speed or check if he's going against traffic etc...
  5. I thought you were talking about GTA:N servers and because of that the statement sounded weird. Anyway... I have made some testing and it's very easy to lower or increase vehicle performance without applying mods, but it starts getting weird when you get over 200 km/h. The cruiser could be made a little faster, but not fast enough to compete with high performance sports or super vehicles.

The truck is called a Pounder and it should not be faster than 140 km/h and I can get the police cruiser reach a speed of 170 km/h, also the police cruiser has faster acceleration and is better at maintaining speed when turning, so it should be superior in every way compared to the truck. Also, we haven't modified any vehicles. And can you send me a list of GTA V RP servers that modify vehicles? By the way, are you using the savegame included in the GTA:N mod? I think using a savegame with higher driver skill makes you drive faster in GTA:N
  7. Does your computer experience high resource usage when playing GTA:N? I've noticed I get timeouts when I have a lot of programs running and my disk and RAM usage is at 80-90%
  8. We have identified the issue and are working on a fix. You should not park your work vehicles with /park command EDIT: fix included in the upcoming update.
  9. Are you talking about the courier Boxville? I've tested it and it had much slower acceleration than your police vehicle and could only accelerate up to 110 km/h on a flat road, while the police car could reach up to 170 km/h I agree that some car speeds aren't realistic, but that's a GTA V thing and if we make a police car go up to 200 km/h that would make it go faster than any sports or super land vehicle in-game which isn't good either... we would then have to modify all other vehicles. Also, you can select from more than one police vehicle (or should be, depends on faction settings) which have better performance than the Crown Victoria

  11. It's included into our plans to concentrate most of the menus into one system and design, but that will take time. The problem was that each developer had to create their own menus and controls which got them the way they are now.

  13. We are already working on that, Nobody's has been collecting pay data and we have a spreadsheet ready to help us out. You may see a change in job salaries and vehicle/property prices soon. We will attempt to balance them so they all pay about the same.
  14. Yes, we are much newer compared to some other servers that got released instantly or soon after GTA:N got out. Don't worry about it, we will launch an ad campaign targeting people who don't know about GTA:N once the new mod update comes out, which should make the game more smooth and stable.
  15. I agree that this is a good idea in general and also possible with the current faction system, but I don't think we should go for it until we have a larger player count to sustain it. Given the current player count having one police department is enough.

  17. We believe we have identified the cause of this, it's a GTA:N problem, but we have a way to circumvent it.
  18. This has been implemented and should be included in today's update.
  19. I've fixed the default prices. The server will update the prices if a dealership has 0 stock of that specific vehicle. They were not getting updated, because otherwise that would've overridden prices set by dealership owners.

    I've increased the checkpoint detection radius, it may help compensate for the lag. If that doesn't help, I will have to find another way to detect it, also I will improve the DMV making it more difficult as requested
  21. What do you mean by default selling price? There should be an advisory cost that is x% higher than the import price, but you should be able to change that to whatever you want.

    Sorry, I am new to English Traffic lights are not synced and the PD is told not to fine anyone for that, the current question is just part of immersion, but that will change once GTA:N syncs them. BAC same as traffic lights currently. I will see what I can do to eliminate the checkpoint issue, it looks like it's lagging.
  24. Well the requirement for an ambulance is a good limitation to prevent abuse. Also, it's planned to change the healing process so it could be only done once a player is brought to a hospital which should make sense because the main function of medics is to stabilize their patients so they survive long enough to be brought to a hospital.
