+1. A while back when I made an alt I mistakenly thought I would be a new player due to his EXP being under 5,000 but found out that I would not. If you aren't at least getting new player protection with separate EXP tickers I do not really see a point in having separate EXP at all.

Congratulations to Antonio Cromieo on his new Prarie! This is our 49th car giveaway!

Considering how badly phone battery and haircut is abused by players on this server I do not think it is a particularly great idea.
Also generally IDs have a photo of the person, so using someone elses ID who doesn't look like you is really silly.

Thank you for the lovely comment, your paint skills are a little disturbing but thank you for the suggestion. Guess I'm furnishing a fort now
No problem. Make sure you have a kill switch to lock all doors in place and a security guy ready to do a lot of mes and dos including buzzing of doors etc. Maybe consider having one of these one-way doors as the exit door and moving it to the front cell insted of the airlock:
Also, consider making the entrance door lockable from the security room so people cannot escape from the first chamber if you choose not to let them. (/me presses entrance door lock /do the entrance door behind is locked etc.) Then you get to watch them power game themselves out

I think the complaint here is that it's impossible to create your own civilian RP scenarios without people trying to butt in, scam, rob, or extort you. What solution is there?
It's all good just build a completely unrealistic airlock at the front of your business. Then when crims cry they cannot penetrate your unrealistic airlock you say "IC problem bro".
Here is a starting point:
Note: I am saying it is unrealistic because there is no reason a nightclub would have this IRL, not because anything it does it unrealistic.

Extortion IRL also has massive consequences. Extortion on this server has next to no consequences. If the club owners had you arrested for extortion would you then discontinue the extortion RP? Probably not. Shit rp, no offense.

+1
Even in the USA where mass shootings happen daily you almost never hear of night club shootings, but you generally cannot even open a night club for an hour on this server without it being an invitation for some goons to ruin everyone elses fun with a boring ass DM raid. It's shit RP, no offense.

+1, I wouldn't makel this a top priority but definitely would be nice if the phone isn't going to be fixed / looked at any time soon.
-
+1 Seems fine. Would also like a way to share your 'GPS destination' location (not sure the correct terminology here, but this is where you click the GPS to get directions to).
-
+1 or just make a rule not allowing these eye sore budget ass exterior garages.

Congratulations to Commander Carbon on his new Surge! He was brought to tears with this vehicle as he is setting out to save the planet from global warming. He says everyone should use an electric car.

If you want the AI to pick for you just use dice and assign 1/2 to rock, 3/4 to paper and 5/6 to scissors. If you want to add user input (for example /rps <id> <rock/paper/scissor>) it wouldn't be bad.

Hate to point out the obvious but police would then never get arrests from it. It would turn into a fail then flee game with PD never getting them when they turn up wanted.
Oh lord, they will miss out on one arrest until they have to arrest them later anyways if they ever want their cars back. The terror.

There is plenty of rp at the impound. I have seen several people get arrested because they are dumb enough to show up with a warrant for their arrest. Because you feel that rp is boring is not a valid reason to ignore it and just scratch it at all. That rp exists and the only way there would be "no rp" at impound is automating it.
Gee whiz, that would happen with an automated one as well since it would detect they are wanted and not allow their car to get removed.
Also, imagine thinking wasting countless peoples time at the impound (i've personally waited over an hour and a half one time) is better than losing out on the extremely crummy impound "RP".
-
There is no RP at the impound. As noted in my first reply. Thanks for another useless reply though.

1.) It is a police impound lot.
2.) Why would they give some random civilian the ability to do background checks through the police database.
This has always been part of the police forces job and should always be.
The NPC is part of the police. It's not that hard.

His point he made was he was parking his car at the bank. Which is his fault. Along with every other reason for getting your car impounded. It doesn't just get impounded by chance. While I agree the rp is a bit mundane a lot of the rp can come across that way but guess what. Pulling your car out of impound is not suppose to be super exciting content. Cops need to continue doing the job of identifying people and their cars and collecting payment. It doesn't make any rp sense to automate this.
How is using an automated impound "exciting"? lol.
It makes 100% that there would be an attendant at the desk at impound (read automated NPC) that can automatically release your car with payment if you have no outstanding warrants or tickets. This is generally how it would work in real life as well, you wouldn't ring a bell and hope a cop comes in real life.
-
I find it weird that the conversation is about paying for parking rather than the fact that the impound is a completely miserable situation altogether. There are other ways your car winds up there besides parking at the bank.
People claim it is because of RP created by the impound, but in all reality it is a really shitty scripted RP: "license?" "/license" "ok bye" every single time I have ever been there.
